I have been rooting and flashing stuff since I first got my OG but I made a rookie error and require some help please. unzip it and youll will see the build prop plus the rest of the stock apps

Tabmail is an option on streakdroid, if you want it on stock you can prob just extract it out of the streakdroid zip and manually install it

Something I just ran across - I'm running Jivy's ICScreweD ROM, and Hulu+ doesn't show up in the on-device market, and indicates unsupported on the i9100 in the web market. My guess is that this is due to lack of international support for Hulu+, so no need for support on a non-US device.
Anyone have any thoughts on getting Hulu+ on the device with this (or presumably any other i9100 ROMs)?
Would it simply be a matter of tracking down a current Hulu+ .apk and installing it? Or will Hulu not play nice if it thinks I'm on an unsupported device?
Would a relatively simple edit to build.prop fix the issue? If so, can anyone provide a link to some guidance on what I should tweak in build.prop?

Find a titanium backup somewhere on the forum and restore it. It worked for me.

OK. changed fingerprint in the build prop to the one pirateghost provided. fixed permissions, rebooted, cleared market data, and still no hulu+ app.

I forgot whom I got these files from on here, but all you need to do is download and extract the attached file to your TitaniumBackup folder then restore using App+Data. That should do it.

Edit: file installed fine, let me log in. won't stream video, claims the device is unsupported. back to monkeying with build prop again...

Hi,
Like an idiot, I flashed the CRT animation thing without doing a backup. Now my phone won't boot, and running the Revert just makes it **** up when it gets to the launcher.
I'm on the Telus I717. Can someone please post the Stock Telus framework-res.apk file, or tell me another way I can get my phone back? I will be forever thankful.

replace ur mms.apk with the one you want via root explorer in system/app and reboot
make sure to force close Messages first

Bingo. Go look in HERE, and you'll find a (confirmed by myself) EI20 Odin file that'll get you back up and running. Follow Droidstyle's guide using this file instead.
I got a replacement and vowed not to hack this one.... But those files are tempting me Lol
