hello, i hope anybody could help me,
yesterday my Flyer ( German ) arrived and I want to update to "LeeDrOiD_Flyer_HC_V4.1.0.zip"
my Hboot Version was 1.07 so I had to create a gold card. It works.
After that installed " RUU_3G_B09.zip " and LeeDroid
Now in Fastboot seeing this :

It seems all to works fine. But when I insert a Sim Card it reboots in a loop.
When I take it out it still works fine.
The Middle HardwareButton ( Preferences ) does not work. Is it normally ?
Have anyone an Idea ?

Read the thread of the Rom you flashed. Your issue is not unique, and has been discussed/ solved with regards to your sim

oh my good... It still was the PIN of the Sim... I read it 100 times but forgot it.

What i want to ask, is the radio version and hboot normal in this combination?
Ive read that for HC ist only one radio and one Hboot.
Is that true ?

Ok had the Flyer for two days now and wanting to root the device and go S-OFF.
Downloaded the files needed and started up Rev.
here is the screen i get while attempting to run Revolutionary..(see attachment)
any ideas about this? i looked through all the pages on the site that i could find and never found the mention of this HBOOT Version.

That's really strange it thinks you are using a view? I would try to re-download revolutionary and run it again.

Are you sure you read the instructions for s-off?
"
These are the devices and HBOOT versions supported
HTC View (express) 1.09.0000 and 1.13.0000
HTC Flyer (flyer) 1.10.0000 and 1.11.0003

which means your hboot is not supported and you can´t s-off

Was this ever resolved? Any chance the hboot is funny because this is a cdma us cellular flyer? I noticed htc never pused honeycomb to it according to their webpage...is this a rare unsupported flyer by either the devs and carriers?

That's not a flyer it's a view.
Anyone able to help as well? I have the same screen as the OP because I am using a HTC Flyer 3G from US Cellular.
I don't understand the post about it being a View... they advertise it as a Flyer and the box says Flyer. Trying to put something decent on this tablet because it is very slow and outdated. I would like to put a custom ROM on it at some point if anything decent is available. At the least I would like root so I can use Titanium Backup and Sixaxis controls to play some games on it.
When I got it, it came with the software that is on it. I couldn't find a RUU that is stock Gingerbread that has the correct HBoot for Revolutionary S-OFF.
Please someone point me in the right direction!

Hi I hope you sorted this by now.
Don't worry about the packaging saying it is a Flyer. It is not. The "EXPRESS" model identifier means it is a View as Globatron has pointed out.
So you need to follow procedures for that.
The easiest way to tell if its a view is if its grey/black. Flyer is white. Im sure the casing is probably interchangeable but since it came from a carrier..
Does anybody have found the ability to get S-OFF, ROOT for these devices ?

Hie, i hard bricked my HTC Evo View and am looking for Hboot to try and flash, it is no longer switching on but still recognised by pc.
it had been rooted and was using revolutionary hboot as follows

If unbranded you can just use the Europian RUU
Do you want ICS or GB ruu?
And what is your current radio version

If I remember right, error 155 means you need to lock your bootloader first before running the ruu.

Interesting. I've given that advice to others and it worked for them. This was the source I used, maybe try what it says anyway just to make sure:

It basically says to make sure you are in fastboot (the bootloader will say fastboot USB) first before running the ruu.exe.
Also, from a Google search, others have said to make sure you have the right ruu for your phone and carrier.

I updated to 4ext and tried flashing some different ROMS.
MEAN Rom Mean kept on having the market error out, yes I dled newest market and verified check sum. So I tried Gangum style CM 10 CM10 and the stock ASOP keyboard kept crashing.
Unfortunately, with CM10 still on, I went into the hboot and updated to OTA_Shooter_ICS_35_S_Sprint_WWE_2.89.651.2-2.17.651.5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1808150 Because I thought the firmware was causing the problems.
Now I'm bootlooping.
Now, in hboot it shows

When I tried to recover with my backup (MeanRom 4.3) , now the phone just bootloops to the HTC screen, instead of looping after it goes HTC then cynanogen.
How do I un**** my phone?
I would like to run either the newest MEAN or the newest CM. Can someone help out my stupid ass?

In the CM10 thread, it said not to use superwipe, but to instead use the option in 4 that wipes/formats all but the SDCard. So I did that each time, before flashing a new rom.
I'm thinking that I should flash JBear GB 1.50.5050 , then try and load CM10? Or would I want to use 1.57.5757 ?
Sorry, there is just alot of new stuff and tons of new hboots since my original "pull the battery to root" back when the 3D first came out. Lots to try and figure out.

Here it is..
I had my htc evo 3d on yoda ics v8.5 and yoda kernel 11.5 worked great.
Then for some reason i flashed ButteredToasT ICS RLS18 and now my phone is stuck on the white screen whit the htc logo and constantly reboots.
Never had problems whit flashing flashed 100 of roms.
I can access the bootloader and 4ext recovery whit no problem..

RLS 18 didn't build correct, have not built shooteru yet, will post link if I get it to compile
