Whenever I power off my DX2 and plug it into my charger it boots into the Motorola icon and just sits there. If I unplug it and power it on it starts normally. How can I access a charge only screen so I can bump charge my battery?

I believe it will charge just fine in cwr. Put a nearly dead battery in and and plug in and pwr off. Wait.. Reboot sys. Just no charge status.
Edit
I misread , U may have not installed the cm7 bsr after u booted. It is not part of the cm7 rom.
I already have the patched BSR installed.

go to settings/privacy do a data reset and reinstall cm7 recovery. IDKN? WAIT. Did u install the apk, install recovery then set recovery mode? Also don't use the usb/data cable .
I have the patched BSR installed correctly. I can get into recovery with no issues whatsoever. I just can't get my phone to boot into the charge screen (upon further investigation it seems this is a blur based feature and often stripped out of cm7 roms).

Charge mode does not work on cm7 patch bsr if I recall.
Yep the charge screen was the exploit for bsr on dx2 iirc. Moonshadow posted it I think in his recovery backup thread.

I'm currently running the supercharged script on my phone and I was wondering if it was safe to factory reset the phone. Also would I lose the supercharged script?
While you're here, can someone tell me how we get into stock recovery? Same as the X?

Bump? Does anyone know?

If you are doing a factory reset, I would remove the supercharge script and reapply it after the fact. Can you elaborate on the stock recovery... not sure what it was like on the X.
To pull up the Android Recovery, power off the phone, holding the volume down button power on the phone. Release both buttons when you see "Fastboot". Press the volume down button until you see "Android Recovery" and press both volume buttons. Not sure if this is the same as what you are looking for or not.
Ok, exactly what I was looking for. Should I also restore bloat or can that stay frozen?
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA Premium App
If you restore with apps frozen, it will more than likely unfreeze them by default. I've never done a factory reset with frozen apps myself, but that is the going consensus. On a side note, if you want to leave the supercharge script in place, you can verify it is still running using the script manager after the reset. Setting up the supercharge script isn't very hard to do.
Alright thank you for the info sir. I always had a custom rom to depend on with my Fascinate so its a bit of a challenge with this one.

I used to use this app on my old phone (Rooted/ROM'd LG Ally). Would there be any issues with it on my new X2? I'm running Eclipse 0.1 with the custom recovery installed. I've hit the "Reboot" button and that works fine. I'm afraid to hit the "Recovery" button.
Why not try it and see? I don't think booting into recovery is going to harm you phone at all. It may just reboot and not enter recovery if that command is intended for CMR or it may enter Bootstrap Recovery. It's really hard to say because I have not used the program myself. No harm in trying. If something does go wrong just pull your battery.
yea you can use it. i use it all the time. if you download the app and go into settings, you can choose wich boots you can choose. by this i mean you can opt to take out the recovery option from the menu when you open the app.
Tried it out and it boots it to stock recovery but not the custom one. Thanks for the responses.

Good idea. Just tried it and still boots to stock recovery. I found a widget on the market that's working out for me. Its just a simple reboot button.

I think it's rather silly that the stock power button options do not include reboot. I mean, it has sleep for crying out loud.

I have MotoPho 2.3.4 rooted and bootstrap thingy installed. I turn off my phone as usual so I can charge it overnight. And now, when the phone is off and I plugged it in to charge. The red circle of M just stuck and seem froze. I have to yank out the battery and turn on and leave the phone on to charge properly. Does everybody know why my phone wont charge while it is off? I did "forcefully" remove some apps like Google Search and Google Plus. Am I not suppose to do it?
Open bootstrap and tap the charge mode button. Should clear up the issue.

I have a DX2 running Eclipse 2.0.2. I was downloading a picture from Plume (a Twitter app). My phone rebooted and it goes to the stock lockscreen (I have Widget Locker) it says (No Service), 7:01PM Thursday, January 1. I can't do anything with the touchscreen, hard buttons or power button. If I turn the screen off, then plug the phone in, Widget locker opens up, some of my apps will launch, others won't.
I've tried booting into bootstrap, but the phone won't restart while plugged in. I've tried SBFing, but my phone won't show up on RSD Lite.
When I boot into Android Recovery, I wipe data/cache and reboot. It starts back up with stock Eclipse, but after a minute or two I get a force close saying Sorry Process Failure. I tried rebooting into Eclipse, plugging in the phone and powering down to start Bootstrap, but the power button only turns the screen off.

So yeah, one night my Sony Tablet S shut down in sleep mode like it does occasionally. Next morning when I tried turning it on, it stayed on the booting animation for several minutes. Did several hard resets and tried again to no avail. Even tried letting it run out of battery, charging, and then booting but no dice. I've never rooted or modified my tablet. Any help? Or do I need to get a new one? I've had this tablet for almost 2 years now and it's served me well, no problems like this before.
Thanks!

Did you make all system updates? What was your release number?

I was on the latest release for the original Tablet S. 4.0.3 release 5a, was it?
Is there anyway to factory reset this damn thing from the "outside" using adb or something?
Did you try to flash the original sony Firmware in recovery Mode?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
Try going into recovery mode. When tablet is powered off, hit power button and volume up button together and hold volume up button for a while. When android recovery menu comes up, make a factory reset from there.

Thanks guys! Going into recovery mode and factory resetting worked!
