Hi,
My galaxy Tab 10.1 plays videos fine when they are copied to internal storage. If I try to play the same video via UPNP using ( Skifta, Bubble UPNP, Mobo Player or Internal Video player ). They just crawl to halt, I get less than 1 frame per second.
Before you guys blame my wireless, I have an SGS2 and same combination of software plays same video fine over UPNP. I thought it might have been wireless throughput, however using Bubble UPNP I can download the same video via UPNP at 3.4Mbs, which is pretty fast.
I am really confused and disappointed as this is a make/break situation for me. Has anyone else experienced this? And is there a solution to problem?

I've seen this on Moboplayer (sw decoding) with 720p videos. It seems software decoding is not fast enough when played via network. Try the trial version of Dice Player, see if that helps. The full version will cost you ~5$ but it's worth the money. It plays all my videos (up to 720p, XVid tv series always worked) using a UPnP/DLNA server without problems.

Hey i have only just purchased my Galaxy10 tablet, i have put a few songs on it but it still says in the 'music player' that there are 0 songs. I am able to listen to these songs individually in 'my files' but i cannot open anything else up (e.g. i cant listen to music while working on polaris office).
Is there something im missing that will easily fix this? or is it a problem with all the galaxy tabs.
Thanks, Nic.
Go to setting . Go into app and clear music cache/data

Also might want to make sure the music is in the place the player is looking for files. I ran into this usinga couple different players.

Is there any possibility of it?
Been searching for answers and ways to implement H/W acceleration for video decoding(eg. H.264) in my own app for a long time, but got no clue.
I want to call H/W decoding based on NAL or frame level over raw bitstream, rather than setting up a media player for files.
Anyone can share this information? Many thanks!
