Been searching for answers and ways to implement H/W acceleration for video decoding(eg. H.264) in my own app for a long time, but got no clue.
I want to call H/W decoding based on NAL or frame level over raw bitstream, rather than setting up a media player for files.
Anyone can share this information? Many thanks!

I used CM7 nightly, but it can't play .wma music ,I know PowerAMP dose it,but I just hate 3rd apk,Can anyone give me a wma files addon package pacth?
You do realize all the little apps in Cyanogenmod ARE 3rd party apps? You're better off just converting your music to mp3. WMA is a waste of time.
.wma support
Hi, I'm a noob...
Is it possible to copy the .wma codecs from the stock rom and paste into cm7?
.

The video playback on my SGT 10.1 is really poor. MX video player stutters when the default hw decoding is set. On sw decoding it is fine but surely hw decoding should be better not worse.
Also, Flash Playback is awful. Really choppy playback.
Is this normal?
Depends on what type of video you are trying to play. This device cannot play High Profile H.264 videos smoothly at the moment (Most x264 videos people download now a days are High Profile).
I haven't come across any flash videos that wouldn't play smoothly but I haven't really tried any super resource intensive ones.
