Unofficial Port Fascinate - This is a test port I will see how you guys like it before I continue to update it.
I got motivated and threw some more ports together. It appears they are all working with the exception of MMS. I did include THS Build 6.1 MMS.apk in both so some of you may get lucky. I made these because I am leaving for a week and when I get back I want to know which ones to peruse. Like CM9 they are all very young in their development so there are a lot of similarities. Tell me which ones you guys like most and I will update them periodically.

I have been running this for about 5 days now and It is amazing I love it so much. The customization is just amazing on this rom. Only problem I ran into was that the notification and the ringer were sent on silent had to go in and change them.
Anyone using this can you test GPS and also test SMS and MMS over WiFi AND 3G?.. I had no issues on all 3 but some users say Mms isn't sending/receiving....
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2
GPS works but gets down to 3600 Meters. MMS and SMS works on both 3G and WIFI. But I am running on the mez and ran it through the rom konverter from Rootzwiki.
Does the mms work? <--- Pay no attention to that! I thought I had scrolled all the way down.. I will just patiently wait and read others comments! Thanks again B for your work!

common questions.
Be careful with this ROM, it will end your desire to constantly flash!
Q: I'm getting a #7 error when trying to flash your ROM!?
A: Use TWRP or just update your CWM.
Q: Which Gapps should I use!?
A: Look in up a few lines.
Q: What's different about this ROM!?
A: Check this out and be amazed!
Q: I'm having some crazy issues that no one else has!?
A: Guess what, you messed up. Use TWRP wipe system, and do a factory reset.
Then flash the ROM and Gapps listed in the OP and wipe cache/dalvik. Do not restore stuff with TB.
Q: How's the battery life in this ROM!?
A: Awesome of course.
Q: Which kernel is the best!?
A: Try them both and figure it out yourself.
Q: Has the music bug been fixed!?
A: Everything seems to work fine.
Q: Bluetooth!? Is it fixed yet!?
A: Yes.
Q: I am not getting notification lights!?
A: In advance settings uncheck and check the box.
Q: Kang, kang, kang, kanger! You big kanger! Wait, what does it mean to kang!?
A: Ok well let's set the record straight on this one. Yes this ROM is a kang, but so is almost
every other ROM for the note. Kang means to take somebody else's work and put it to good
use. Credit is expected but occasionally not given. I for one always am the first to admit what I
am building is a kang. If the "dev" who built the ROM isn't the one who wrote the source then
he just made a kang build (for example, krarvind wrote the slim source, so his builds aren't kangs).

Its not about reverting back to tw or aosp. Its about downgrading from 4.2.x to 4.1.x. You need to flash one simple zip after you've flashed the 4.1.x ROM(usually tw). It just restores your files to their original place as 4.2.x creates a new directory. Its really not a big deal to flash the zip. If you are going form a tw to aosp you shouldn't have to flash anything but the ROM and gapps.

Looking good over here. I hope battery life is as good as the Avatar ROM. I had Carbon 1.5 running but it drained my battery way faster that Avatar did.
This here is a top notch Rom am glad that i have Deviant Development on my Note 2. Like all other Roms put out by the team was impressed as usual. Will keep this as my daily driver thanks for your dedicated work guys five thumbs up.:good:
Last time I investigated, before official CM10 was out, I had to flash a zip before and after. Also if I wanted to use my micro sd formatted as exfat then I couldn't leave TW. I have been trying to find a decent workaround but could never find one. It's a necessity for me to store large files soo..... any ideas?
I'm glad now that I only have one zip to flash tho. Thats not bad at all

First AOSP flash.
Been waiting for something to get me off touch-wiz, seen this and decided to leap. I will report any issues i run across(hopefully very few i can not find the answers to before asking...Thanx!!!
Am I an idiot... No, don't answer that, but where did developer settings go? I liked the ROM overall, but need dev options, especially back button kill which everyone seems to remove...
Also is there a way to change superuser when its baked into the ROM? I bought super super user and would like to be able to use it...
Later,
Jason

Beta 1 notes :
Root - It's disabled by default, it has to be or it's an instant fail on the CTS! (Compatibility Test Suite). Good news you can just turn it on. Either in the superuser app -> settings or in Developer options.
A few more settings have been moved around. It was decided that no "advanced" user settings should be under developer options. Some were moved previously but with the beta 1 release the following have also been changed
Ram bar is now under interface
Media scan on boot is under system advanced options
Advanced reboot menu is now called Secure reboot and is under security.
Reserved 2
Gonna try that out...
Thanks
Finally..thank you..will test and report back!!

Is this based on GE or AOSP?
Update
Just looked at file size. I'm guessing this is AOSP.
Has anyone found that the volume of the phone, particularly the speaker phone and music playback is a lot lower with the AOSP Roms?
Well so far I'm likeing this build but one thing I noticed was that I am not able to change lcd density in the settings
BTW Loved the builds you worked on with the Vision your part of the reason I had got this phone (that and speakers and build quality)
Also Im using the m7tmo version if it helps

Try turning on root access for apps and adb in developer settings and trying again. I still have my vision and I'm crazy enough to be trying to get 4.3 going on it

Its very stable. Its faster than the GE rom in my opinion. Everything seems to be working. I wish we could get better sound on the aosp roms. None of the sound mods come close to sense or GE sound. Only thing that keeps me away from aosp.

Okay had to disable and re-enable root access in developer settings to get it to work.
Yea that would be awesome to see 4.3 on the vision, to bad I put my phone in my pocket and my drivers license ripped my ribbon cable.
It would have been a great phone to give to my son with it built like a tank and all.
this ROM is incredible, definitly my new daily

Just flashed, will report back if any issues appear.
Does anyone know what the battery life is like on this compared to the 4.3 Google Edition ROMs?
