Have 1.5Hboot, can i get "InfectedROM Eternity" ? - HTC EVO 3D

ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277431
I have my HTC EVO 3D, HBoot 1.5 Unlocked using HTC's Method, i would like to know what is the best method Flash the Kernel for "InfectedROM Eternity"... I tried flashing the boot.img after i already flashed the ROM but it kept going to the HTC logo over and over again without booting up.
Any suggestions??

Try flashing the boot.img before flashing the ROM.

Just do this place a copy of your recovery.img in your adb folder
Now while in hboot
use adb
fastboot boot recovery.img
Now wipe everything and flash rom
no need to snag boot img out works every time
Also yes you must wipe everything then adb reboot booloader then fastboot flash boot boot.img
other wise you will bootloop..

Okay so what i did last time was Flash the ROM (didn't wipe everything :/)
then try to flash the boot.img
So as long as i wipe everything first this will work?

Just take your recovery your throw it in your adb folder
and
fastboot boot recovery.img
This works better and faster..
Yes if your gonna do it the boot way....
Make sure you wipe then
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then flash the rom in recovery...

thank me later.
this program basically pulls the kernel out of the rom and flashes it for you, all you have to do is boot into recovery and flash the rom and you're done.

I bet you're choosing recovery from hboot and u think that's what we mean by " fastboot boot recovery.img" yes/no? Like meangreenie said, u need a recovery image in the same folder as fasboot on your computer. Hook the phone up while in hboot, choose fastboot, cd to the folder that the recovery and fastboot are in and type fastboot boot recovery.img, and make sure the recovery that's in there is named recovery.img. if it doesn't work, post what it says in the command window

[Q] Flashing Custom Rom with Fastboot method

Hi everybody.
I have been folowing the development of cm9 by Jokersax for quite some time now. Right now I am using the CM7 RC but I would like to get back to cm9 soon. Since the last update he has been adding a system.img file to flash using fastboot.
My question now is:
Do I only have to flash the system.img and that's it?
fastboot wipe everything and then flash the system.img?
What about a boot.img?
Do I have to flash that too?
I know I could use cwm instead but I would like to understand the fastboot method also...

My Atrix is stuck in boot loop because my battery died during a flash in TWRP. I tried going back into TWRP to recover back to my nandroid backup but TWRP just stays at the splash screen.. I've tried to ash a rom via fastboot update and no dice so far.. any assistance is very much appreciated

You can try entering recovery mode ( before the splash screen appears ) and wipe cache , wipe dalvik and wipe data, then reboot.

[Q] How to boot PhoneROM on Boot manager?

As title says i want to know how to boot my Main ROM, i installed Boot manager and on one slot i installed MIUI, after that i tried to go to my main rom with no success, its still on MIUI, Boot manager is not working properly, when i select boot phone rom nothing happens. Idk how to go back now. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Try two things.
1. Try to reinstall boot manager in miui rom and then try to boot to phone rom.
2. You can flash the update.zip file in the phone rom folder on recovery. Then reboot those should boot you into the phone rom.

I have been s-off since the downgrade was discovered so I don't know about smartflash but I do use 4ext. And I feel like I'm intruding on wloftus because he has you dilemma figured out, but here's what I'd do. Sorry wloftus.
Fastboot boot "anyrecovery.img" and flash the phone Rom update. You can flash 4ext, cwm or twrp. It doesn't matter that 4ext is installed on the phone, it won't hurt if you boot a different recovery from fastboot. 4ext will still be there when you regular boot to recovery. I've done this many times with twrp installed and fastbooted to cwm.
Edit... You said you reinstalled meanrom, if you had a custom kernel installed to it when u set up phone Rom then the update.zip might not get you back to meanrom. If you had the stock kernel for meanrom then the update should work.

Yeah, that should overwrite the boot image that's taking you to miui and get you back to your phone Rom.
For future reference you shouldn't ever have to reflash a whole Rom just to get back to the phone Rom. As wloftus said earlier, the phonerom update just wasnt sticking because you are s-on. I'm sure this can be done with smart flash but I don't know how. Next time just fastboot to recovery and flash the update.
Edit... Dude, boot manager is da bomb. I used it for 6 months with s-on and never had this issue. Just a lil hiccup for you, now you know how to fix it.

[Q] how to switch recoveries from RA to TWRP?!

How do I get my phone to stay permanently on TWRP? I've got it to flash and can run it fine. The problem is that everytime I reboot it goes back to RA revamped...It's annoying as ****. I've tried searching and can't find a solid answer.

Go download GooManager from make. Install open recovery inside of it. It will flash TWRP.
Or just download TWRP and put the recovery.img in your adb directory and execute "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" from fastboot and it's a done deal!

No, not really any specific order at all... Sure you are using FLASH and not BOOT in the fastboot command?
If you are sure, then you must have a PHxxIMG.zip file on the SDcard of Amon Ra that is flashing itself on every boot or something, remove any PHxxIMG.zip files from the SD card and try again. Flashing a ROM does not replace the recovery image, so something else is doing it and I can't think of anything else that would cause that behavior.

Is the device fully S-off, otherwise you will need to manually install the boot.img in fastboot mode.
I've used the M6-7 snapshots on the LRA version without many issues.
