Htc dlx 6435lra - HTC Droid DNA

My friend has the clone of the DNA, but tried to flash CM. but is now stuck in a bootloop, but we tried to do a backup. But the backup file won't even show anymore, I can't find a rom to restore it. would anyone on here have a back up or rom that would work?

Is the device fully S-off, otherwise you will need to manually install the boot.img in fastboot mode.
I've used the M6-7 snapshots on the LRA version without many issues.

I think we missed the step of S-Off, what would be your recommended way to do it manually. Does Moonshine for the DNA work?

Any of the DNA roms should work pretty well on the LRA model. I haven't tried any of the sense ones myself though.

Have 1.5Hboot, can i get "InfectedROM Eternity" ?

ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277431
I have my HTC EVO 3D, HBoot 1.5 Unlocked using HTC's Method, i would like to know what is the best method Flash the Kernel for "InfectedROM Eternity"... I tried flashing the boot.img after i already flashed the ROM but it kept going to the HTC logo over and over again without booting up.
Any suggestions??
Try flashing the boot.img before flashing the ROM.
Just do this place a copy of your recovery.img in your adb folder
Now while in hboot
use adb
fastboot boot recovery.img
Now wipe everything and flash rom
no need to snag boot img out works every time
Also yes you must wipe everything then adb reboot booloader then fastboot flash boot boot.img
other wise you will bootloop..

Okay so what i did last time was Flash the ROM (didn't wipe everything :/)
then try to flash the boot.img
So as long as i wipe everything first this will work?

Just take your recovery your throw it in your adb folder
and
fastboot boot recovery.img
This works better and faster..
Yes if your gonna do it the boot way....
Make sure you wipe then
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then flash the rom in recovery...

this program basically pulls the kernel out of the rom and flashes it for you, all you have to do is boot into recovery and flash the rom and you're done.

you can adb push the rom to /sdcard

No signal, phone number, SIM problem? Number 000-000-0000

As I was using CM 4.4.2, everything was going fine, I had 3 bars of LTE, and then I tried to make a call and it said mobile networks not available, I checked my signal in the status bar and it still said LTE and data still worked fine. I went to my phone settings and checked it and it said my mobile network was unknown, and my phone number was 000-000-0000. I wiped, and flashed CM10.2(4.3) and it did the exact same thing, only this time it said my phone number, but still, I couldn't make any calls or text, I've tried flashing two sense 5 roms and none of them display my phone number or let me call or text, but upon changing the subscription type from global to LTE/CDMA, it gives me LTE data, but that's it...Can anyone please help me?

Stock DNA Recovery Image
To flash the Recovery:
Place the file in your fastboot/adb directory on your computer.
Put the device in fastboot mode:
(Volume down and power until menu appears, select fastboot using power button)
Connect the device to the computer
The image is easily installed via an unlocked bootloader with the following command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery imagename.img
For example, I provided a recovery img named dnastockrecovery.img
So you would type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery dnastockrecovery.img
The image must be in your fastboot working directory.
Or you can use Flashify from the Play Store.
I recommend getting used to and familiar with doing it via fastboot though.

Same process always fixes 3g/4g issues after flashing many roms for me, on all of my devices.

This exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Busted my ass trying to fix it, after a few days of no service i finally got it.

The way you fixed it seems a lot easier than what I did. I returned to s-on, 1.15 hboot and the oldest firmware. Now my phone's bootloader will always say tampered too, since i had to HTC dev unlock it to get root.

Stuck in Recovery/Bootloader

I have S-off, Unlocked Bootloader, and my EVO is rooted. I have HBOOT 2.09
I tried to install Vanir so I flashed the Gapps 4.4 in TWRP which seemed to work, then I tried to flash Vanir after and got an error.
Now no matter what I do I boot right into recovery and can't seem to figure my way out. Clearly I'm in over my head so if someone could just help me get back to stock at least I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Did you install the proper twrp for kitkat.. if so just try flashing the Rom first then let it boot up and sit for a minute.. then boot back into recovery and flash gapps this works for me..

Even though you use TWRP 2.6.3.0, it has to be a modded one that allows SELinux support.
Click Me -Flash the Recovery in the OP of this thread
If you have a working fastboot and adb environment on your computer you can flash it by going to to fastboot USB in the bootloader of your phone, and make sure your phone is connected to your PC properly.
Place the .img file in your adb and fastboot folder and then open a command prompt from that location.
then type fastboot flash recovery "recoveryfilename.img" and ofcourse replace recoveryfilename with the actual filename.
after that reboot into recovery and try reflashing Vanir.
This is the method I use to flash recoveries, its fairly simple and fast in my opinion.
Hope this helps.

Cant flash via fastboot, flash in recovery using method install. Make sure you have pure stock sense6 rom. Otherwise, it will fail to install OTA, no brick no worries, just fail and need to repeat process.
Ok. I will try tonight. Thanks a lot.
Edit : failed. i'm a bit confused with the steps really. i flash stock recovery but when i reboot to recovery the triangle and ! picture comes out. what i should do really? it would be very nice of you if you can teach me from step 1. thanks. sorry for asking too much.
