i guess youre using a ray?
try cleaning alcohol.

switch it off and take battery out before cleaning, alcohol, or nail polish remover wiil be good, but try nailpaint remover in a small plastic area before to ensure it doesnt melts plastic.

My razr with miui V4 and it's just the problem of the ROM?????
if ur not sure its the camera or the ROM, just download another camera app (like ZoomFX?) to check it out.
Wipe the camera lens with a clean paper towel, you have oil on it.
Also, you should quit smoking.

What he said... But use an alcohol wipe made for lenses, or a dry lense wipe and some windex. Paper towels are abrasive enough thta after too many times, will scuff the lens cover

Its not clear...
See another example, white is kind of glowing....
Does the lens have any noticeable damage to it? I'm not really sure if condensation can form on the inside of a phone's camera lens, but that's almost what these pictures look like.
Hi, the problem with you phone's camera is a lens error. Since the lens protrudes out of the phone, it is prone to getting scratches and very foggy. Think of it like your car head lights. This has happened to my phone as well. What you are supposed to do is:
-take a wet clothe
-wet the lens a bit
- apply toothpaste onto the lens with a Q-tip
- and wipe away with either a Q-tip or soft cloth
It won't damage your phone's lens, just don't apply too much pressure. Make sure you do this multiple times! I hope this helps! It cleared a good amount of my scratches and the picture quality is exactly the way it was when I first got the phone. Good Luck!
Try putting toothpaste on the lense and rub the tooth paste off
I too have the same problem, I have cleaned the lens with toothpaste and significantly improved the quality. Thank you guys.

Thanks guys!
I used toothpaste, camera is back to normal
Hi, I have this problem to
Do I have to rub the toothpaste or just remove it with a cloth (without rubbing it)?
Also do I have to clean with water after all that?
The same issue with my lens camera too... I'll give a try with toothpaste ...

Water in my Z2 Screen !

well as the tittle said, there is water in my Z2 screen......
I wash my phone on bathroom with cold water like 30 secs... then I dry it using the toal... and later i started to blow air at the buttons, like power, volume and even the speakers. later I saw some kind of transparent spot inside mi screen at the right side of the screen.... The phone works fine camera, speakers, everything is working fine... touchscreen etc. but I dont know what to do with that water. maybe hairdry? rice? what else?
You used blower and push water around side keys with high pressure air into lcd panel.
I work in mobile service center and dismantle too many xperia Z series, these are water resistance, not water proof
Never use blower again, your phone dry water itself after a few hours

well after I dry the phone using the taol, with my mouth I blow some air on the keys..... Now I am using rice and hairdry and almost 90% of the water is gonne, some little white dots are missing....
Hey check if the water damage indicator is still white. I believe it's inside the micro sd card slot and the micro sim slot. If they are still white, go to Sony and tell them that you just wash the phone in tap water for awhile and dried it using a cloth. They should bring in to service it and it should be out pretty soon. Good luck!

but Sony says these are waterproof
I wash my z2 every week, so far no problem
You should nvr use a blower to blow water out as It could actually blow the water deeper into the phone.
Instead use a vacuum cleaner.
Leave your phone in rice for around 3-5 days with all ports open and micro sd card and Sim card taken out. ( that was the amount of time I used when I couldn't turn on my phone at all after dipping into a waterfall ?)
That ought to get all The Water out.
well after about 8 days on trying to fix the phone, I used Hair dryer, rice , etc. there was still some moisture on the screen, like white little dots, so I decided to sell the phone that way.. and now I got a new Z2 black color. now I dont know if I should wash my phone....I am afraid of water now for phones.....
I wash my z2 every time that I go bath
Don't hesitate on this, just when you wash it, don't use blower etc

Rear Camera Not Focusing

Hey everyone! 'Im new to this site so i thought i might try and ask a few questions. Last Tuesday my rear camera had shattered so i was googling and you-tubing around ways to fix it, how much it would cost... etc. Anyway I decided to fix my own camera because it was so simple but .. even after I've removed the shattered glass and the adhesive, my camera lens will not focus at all, with or without the glass lens. Everything looks blurry, even when i zoom in. I've tried to clean it very carefully with alcohol and a Q-tip but i just cant figure out what the issue is?
Any Suggestions? Thoughts? is it ruined?

I actually shattered mine too but never messed with it since it's not effecting the camera quality even tho it's completely shattered with a hole in it.
Any chance there's moisture behind the lenses?
Hmm
I dont think theres any liquid behind the lens. when it shatters i placed tape over it so the pieces wouldnt cut me or move anywhere..... i even carefully cleaned it with alcohol and a Q-tip. Ive read in many places to clear the cache for the camera app but nothings helping... i think maybe its just time to let the s 5 go lol........

Where can I buy a replacement camera?

Hello, where can I find a replacement of the rear camera for the Moto G4 XT1622? I did'nt find anything searching on google...

also, there already is a thread with the same question. No need to create a new one.
cheers
Replacement Camera
I guess the only option available is Moto Service Centre. They replace genuine parts, but price is little high.

So why the genuine glass cover got scratches? I have personally ordered replacement glass from Amazon.in for about Rs. 400 and it is much better than stock glass.
If you want to spend more like Rs. 1200-1500 go for a service centre repair.
This one should fit you right

Cleaning glass with petrol with a bit rough cloth will solve the purpose easily....I did for mine....
It actually cleans the oleophobic coating...
Hello everyone,
I had the same problem of blurry camera it was caused due to scratches on the oleophobic coating on the camera lens.
I would not recommend you to replace lens (if u want u can get it on Amazon for around 200-250rs in India) as replacement lens might have the same problem of scratches after some time.
Instead I had used rust removal paste to get rid of scratches. After using it my camera is Crystal clear. Before that I had tried using pepsodent toothpaste it didn't work. I even tried sharp object to scrape the coating it didn't work. So the best solution to the problem is to use rust removal paste with tissue paper or cloth to rub over the lens within one minute all scratches disappear.
Hit the thanks if my solution worked for u.
