Have an x17i mini pro with ana's cm7 mod installed, worked great for a month or so, but today the wifi doesnt work...
any ideas how to fix?

Dont know what happened but i had done a cwn based backup in Jan so restored to then, lost some data- messages ect, but wifi is back
I´ve tryed this too and it worked. But by the days this issue came again. I also tryed to reinstall rom and kernel but i wasn´t succesfull I moved to Hybrom
how did you go from naa to hybrom?
i tried the rom on naa kernel but it just rebooted after...
trying to load another kernel, but cant get me device in fastboot mode to load a boot.img, can only enter flash mode and flash a *.ftf file, any ideas?

My phone is stuck at SE logo.. Xrecovery is also not working.. SEUS also not working. Can rom be flashed vai flash tools . Actually i installed wrong kernel on my rom n the phone became unresponsive.. Please can anyone help. Cant get my phone working.

I went through something similar, if not the same.
My rom got corrupted with the new kernel, I lost xrecovery and SEUS asks for the SD card to be mounted, which cannot be because ROM did not see it after kernel update.
before reading further, you need to have your phone rooted, you can do it via xrecovery, easily found in this forum.
what did I do to solve it?

I installed a generic ROM via flashtool, you do not have to boot the phone to do it, the bad thing is that everything will be wiped from phone (not from SD though)
you can find generic X10 stock roms in this forum.
After that, you will be good to go.

I was trying to install this rom:

but I couldn't flash the ftf file, so I thought maybe I need to unlock the bootloader, so I tried to do this:

but couldn't do anything after step 1, which was flashing the downgrade kernel or something,
now flashtool doesn't recognize my phone and it's stuck at the SE logo screen,
I tried to flash the kernel via zip file (from Wolf's rom) and then flash Wolf's rom and wiping data and dalvik cache via xrecovery, but it's still bricked ... How can I get it to turn on again? Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT/SOLVED: OK so I rested for 3 minutes (I'm a very impatient man) was able to use the cmd file to unlock the bootloader from another computer, then I succesfully booted into flash mode by holding the back key and flashed the upgrade kernel from the unlock bootloader thread, from then, I followed the instructions on the MIUI rom (first link) my X10 is properly working now, so my best advice is to remain patient and don't try and change roms this late at night, especially if you have to work the next morning... I'm so sorry to have made this thread and fixed it myself so soon... but if I can help anyone with the same problem please ask!

I have installed MiniCM 2.1.9
and then flashed the kernel ,and the google apps.
I have rebooted the phone after finished installing,
the nAa-freedom within- kernel logo shows up,
and then the blue android on the skate rolls in, stops in the center, and the circle around it appears, it starts loading, and *BAM* it stops:

Flash the kernel first, do a full wipe within CWM and then flash the ROM (and any extras). If you dont flash the kernel first then you might be using an outdated version of CWM which might not properly install it.

It works fine now,i wiped data with CWM,flashed the kernel first,than installed the ROM,rebooted,and everything works now.I think the sequence and the gapps(do NOT install gapps!)was wrong.Thanks!
I have installed CM 9.1 on my xperia sola but when i was reinstalling it for some reason it gave me status:7 error. so i tried to fix the things up but i couldn't. for dis i have formatted system data from recovery mode and tried to reinstall CM9.1 from pepper.zip but it was giving same problem so i have flashed my phone with kenrel MT27i_6.1.1.B.1.10_KERNEL.ftf. now my phone has no ROM installed i guess. when i turned on my phone it stucks on Sony logo. please help me.. how to install ROM again. i have tried to flash my phone with sotck rom but i couldnt

Hi guys,
I'm always experimenting with my U, but this time it happened something strange.
After one of my many tests i reflashed transcendence kernel and when i was about to leave recovery it asked me if i would like to make sure that other recovery didn't reflashed after reboot automatically and i said yes.
The problem is that now i can't get rid of this kernel!!
I enter recovery and flash another kernel, everything ok, but after i reboot i still have the old transcendece kernel.
Already relocked bootloader and flashed stock fw with sony pc suite and unlocked again and nothing, the damn kernel is still there!!!
What can i do? Anyone knows what this is?

Problem solved.
Answer: Recovery got retained, hence the bootlogo is always the same. Flash new recovery to solve it.
