Have you tried pressing VolUp , or both at the same time, or pressing the power button?
I think pressing them both or power will activate fastboot.
I realise that you asked for links to the fastboot files...but for sbfing:
Try these instructions http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x2-support/37159-guide-how-sbf-x2.html
Links to the files:
RSDlite 5.3.1 and 5.1 Windows 64bit and 32bit zip
Droid X2 Gingerbread 2.3.4 Motorola SBF zip file
key instructions at step #10:
With the X2 in a completely POWERED DOWN state, press and hold the volume up button on the top right hand side of the phone. While still holding the volume up press and hold the power button until the screen turns on. At the top of the screen you should see "Starting RSD protocol support" once this text appears you may release the volume up button.
Click to collapse
This should completely revert the X2 back to factory 2.3.4...(I have done this myself) and I believe this is the way they would do it at the factory.

Hello all,
I know this is likely in the wrong place, but I can't post in the dev forum. I was attempting to SBF my phone to 2.3.4 to update to 2.3.5. I have used the exact same RSD and SBF file on this computer. Last time my battery died while SBFing and it became a big hassle. Regardless, I was able to finally get it done. I did it today and it failed at 9% and switched to BP Passthrough. I pulled the battery and tried to get it back in to RSD and try a different usb port. It will not bring up the fastboot/RSD menu. I hold down DN VOL and power and it just shows the Moto logo and then after maybe 20 seconds then flashes failed to boot4 and screen goes blank very quickly. I can not get it in to RSD to try again. My PC is Win7 x64, RSD 5.4.4, VRZ-MB870_4.5.1A-DTN-150-30_1FF_01.sbf.
Any suggestions?
I just seen yesterday someone posted a way to sbf with a cd instead of rsd lite. Maybe something you can try. Look here.

Ok thanks I'll look into that. any idea where you saw it?
Try holding power and volume up
That is the direct way to get into rsd mode
I don't know why every one good through the hassle of power volume down and going through the choices when power and volume up starts rsd mode without having to press anything else

Good point Ash that is how i get to it volume up and power. I posted the link back in my first post. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
So will it say RSD or anything or will it just go into it without saying anything?

Phone off, volume up and power hold until you see rsd. Should say it. Once you see it you are good to go.

Did that and it never says RSD. just shows the logo. I had 95% bat when I started and I tried to RSD once. So that should not have drained it that much should it?
Worth a shot to try a full battery
Know anyone with an x,atrix,x2,etc...I or a desktop charger?
As I was on the phone with VZW it started and went to FTB4 and then said started RSD. So now it is taking the update so far from a different USB Port
have you tried opening rsd and hooking your phone up to it to see if it auto magically recognizes the device....lol might get lucky.
Either that or try the other method that has shown up recently
Well I got it to take the SBF, but it bootloops as expected and it wont let me boot into stock recovery to clear the cache. Should I reflash?

Just let it loop for a while
---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:06 PM ----------
And after like 15-20 mins pull battery and try to boot stock recovery
I don't know why but it now goes to Stock recovery and I'm going to delete cache and data about 50 times and hopefully it will work.
Thanks for all the suggestions and help.
Mods can you please erase this thread.
Somehow reflashing seemed to work. Thanks.
If this helps.
Charge the battery completely. Completely being part of the key.
Insert battery and boot holding power button and vol up key at the same time.
DO NOT release the keys if it does not attempt to boot into RSL quick mode. if the logo appears continue holding the keys till it loops like ash said, except continue to hold the keys thru at least two full boot loops.
On the last loop release the keys and depress the power button while removing the battery. Once the battery is out release the power key. It sounds crazy but it definately worked. Now reinsert the battery and but do not power on. Open and launc RSD on your pc. Connect cable. The connection of the cable will sometimes activate RSD. Power on phone using the quick RSD commands (Hold power button and vol up key.) And Walla!
I hope this helps. I had another person follow this exact same instructions and it worked for them as well.
When flashing fails in the middle of flashing due to power loss: Boot is whacked or corrupted. This usually works.

!!!Awesome... It did work for a MB853 as well!! great post, thanks a lot.
Woah....
Flashbacks....lol
hello everybody
i had installed the THE ARCTIC - EternityProject rom for the droid razr gsm xt910
and i decided to change the theme, so therefore i rebooted from bootstrap to recovery and simply flashed the theme of ics on it, and now im stuck in loop of the ics intro screen as if its loading and loading and loading.....
im not sure what to do as of this moment the phone is still in a loop. so if somebody can help me that would be great.
thank you very much
my phone has started to heat up pretty bad if somebody can reply i'll be greatful thanks
Hold power button to turn off the phone. Boot into recovery, cwm or what you are using and wipe cache and clear dalvik and see if that helps.
i am now stuck at the sign of a droid with exclamation mark in a triangle...
Hold the power button and both volume buttons. First option should be recovery. Hit the volume up key to select and it should reboot. Atleast my cdma razr does.
that makes it reboot and back to the loop again. argh....how to get to recovery ?
Yeah on my cdma phone the power button and both volume keys work.
it says the phone is locked i think its bricked. but since its working and i can see alot of things and stuff it must be soft bricked. i got into boot menu as well but i dont know what to do from there
any ideas ?>

On my phone atleast , if I hold the power and volume down it comes to a screen that says locked. Thats in fastboot mode. If I hold power and both volume keys it brings you to a menu with several different options which says to use keys to toggel up or down.
i can only access the one holding power button down and volume keys up and down

Ok.
It's the default ap fastboot from razr, you had to flash artic trhough razr bootstrap, anothet cwm. So..
while in this white screen, press and hold power and vo l+/-
This will drive you to bootmenu
In boot menu pick recovery (vol down)
Then press vol up to entet recovery
Wait for red moto logo, give it 5s and press vol up/down
This will open recovery menu
In that go factory reset and press power button
wait it finish, you should be good to go
If doesn't work you'll have to flash a new rom with rsd lite. Try what I said 1st

Nice to rear it works

If this don't fix then you will need to flash a new rom with RSD Lite, just make sure you have at least 50% of battery before flashing

thanks alot, now to avoid this my friend, how should i have flashed the ics theme from artic to avoid this kind of thing in the future ?
Did you wipe before or after the theme flash or just install and reboot?

Okay this is what happened. I own the razr maxx and i got a little impacient and decided to download the leaked .210 4.0.4 motorola ota. That went fine and i was running that for 4 days. Then i wanted to go back to stock 2.3.6 so i used the Mats Utility 1.6 to do so i let it do its thing and i came back and i turned on the phone. It booted up to the M logo and then a couple seconds later the screen turns black. I really need help on this. I have tried using RSD light and flashing the stock rom but it says flash failed. I can boot into stock recovery and everything else.
Can someone help?

Once on .210, there is no going back to GB (2.3.6).....Thinking you are probably screwed. Might be able to reflash .210 or .211
You can try and flash back, but future reference heed the warnings.

I was in the same boat but in order to get recovery I had Vol+ Down for quite a bit maybe 40 sec. It flashed a bar. Here was the catch. if I continued to depress the power button plus V0l+ and Vol- I git the black screen The trick is to release power and depress Vol+ & Vol- when it shuts down. From there you can get to recovery etc.
If i wanted to go back to .210 how do i go along doing so?

4. DO NOT CLICK INSTALL RECOVERY, AND DO NOT INSTALL BOOTSTRAP
5. Copy the update file and the .crc to /cache
6. Open /cache in a file browser of your choosing that will prompt you which application to use instead of opening the .zip file itself (ES File Explorer seems most popular)
7. Tap on the .zip and open it with ROM Manager
8. Don't check anything in the popup and reboot recovery
9. It will flash and finish
10. Done! I recommend factory resetting again here. Reroot if you want.
If you're on a previous ICS leak, above .79
- PUT THE .206 UPDATE FILE ON YOUR EXTERNAL SD CARD FIRST.
You will not be able to use your RAZR to put the files on the SD card after you begin. Please do so beforehand.
- Open the Droid Razr Utility 1.6
- Turn your phone off, & then turn it back on holding VOL DWN and PWR to boot into AP Fastboot
- Select Fastboot to .181 in the Utility & follow the onscreen directions
- Let it complete. There will be quite a few errors, don't panic - this is normal.
You are now on what we coined "Psuedo-.181" - some weird hybrid of GB and ICS files. Your phone will not boot at this point.
- Open the unstick ICS tool
- Choose the newest (.20X) kernel
- Let it install, and reboot.
Because of this kernel upgrade, you are now able to flash ICS again... even a later version.
- Turn your phone off
- Hold VOL DOWN + VOL UP + PWR, then use VOL DWN to go to "Recovery" and VOL UP to select it
- Press VOL DWN + VOL UP to bring up the menu
- Navigate to "Apply update from external SD"
- Select the .20X zip file you downloaded.
- *IF IT FAILS THE FIRST TIME, TRY THIS PARAGRAPH AGAIN*
And now you're on the new ICS!
If you want root afterwards:
- Turn on your phone and let it boot normally
- Set everything up, and then turn on USB debugging
- Turn off your phone
- Hold VOL DWN + PWR to boot into AP Fastboot mode again
- Open the UnstickICS tool on your computer again
- Install the .85 kernel
- Turn your phone off
- Hold VOL DWN + VOL UP + PWR, then use VOL DWN to navigate to BP Tools, and VOL UP to select it
- Your phone should boot normally.
- Open the Droid Razr Utility 1.6 and select Root ICS.
- Follow the onscreen directions, pressing a button when it finishes rebooting, 3x.
- Turn your phone off again.
- Hold VOL DWN + PWR to boot into AP Fastboot again
- Use UnstickICS to flash the kernel of the version you want to upgrade to again
- Reboot
You need to do this, because the 4.0.4 kernel is not vulnerable to any root exploits. Going back to a previous kernel (in this case, 4.0.3) will allow you to exploit and obtain root, and then upgrade back to 4.0.4.
If you have any questions, I'll be glad to help.
wOw
Wicked dude.

I am also wondering why there are so many threads like this even each posted leak is marked that here is no way back to 2.3.6. with many exclamation marks....
When I click power + volume keys (-, +, and both) nothing happens, 10 seconds later motorola logo appears for 2 seconds and then shuts down again.
Can you give more info?
1. Is your battery charged
2. Did you tried to flash stock roms with RSD, if you did, tell which xml you tried to install.

2. I need the bootloader before trying that. The RSD doesn't detect my phone.
Hi all,
I have Motorola XT621 Primus, after some playings with it and trying to root and add RTL patching i got a brick.
Now the status is that i have fastboot mode working but bootloader is locked, no recovery working and no ADB working, no boot too.
I tryed many ways to flash or unlock bootloader but nothing works. Any commands like fstboot oem got output like (...)
Is there any way to unlock bootloader via fastboot and flash new rom or it completely bricked?
Thanks!

Ok first hold the two volume buttons then push and release the power button. Then click on bp tools and see if the logo comes and than goes to the battery thing. Or try to just go into the same place and say normal boot. If all else fails do a fast boot. and use the droid razr root utility to restore back to stock. Let me know if any of this helps or you have questions.

Try this exactly to get into fastboot mode...
Power off phone
Press and hold volume down and power button
When the screen flickers release only the power button.
If you can get into fastboot you can use Matt's DROID utility to flash OEM Jellybean Rom onto it in an attempt to resurrect.

Hi, I just started flashing for the first time.
I first did a root using EternityProject EasyRootICS v1.5.
Then I installed recovery Razr ClockWorkMod Touch 5.8.4.5 Black Edition and made a backup.
Then I flashed this rom ([ROM][4.4.4][AOSP][CDMA/GSM][Unofficial] SlimKat)
I did a clean install and after pressing reboot, it stays a blank screen. When I disconnect my USB, I hear the sound of a device disconnecting vice versa meaning my phone is still working??
My previous android was running 4.0.4.
Please help?

I suggest you to go back to stock with RSD Lite and start over.

Ok, I got it by holding power and volume down, and once it blacks out, let go of power button and hold volume up button..
Now onto RDS Lite, it's saying failed flashing process. 1/24 flash cdt.bin_signed -> Phone returned failed
