stuck on "sony ericsson" - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

hello,
i have wanted to install CWM (recovery)
So i have xrecovery installed before, then I have launched and installed at the same time without rebooting: CWM and found a game on the internet in zip
But when I the rebooted it "buggy" and I was forced to go to CWM
that is to say that I had a screen with "sony" then a weird sort of context, then "sony ericsson" ect (loop)
So i have fiddled a bit in the CWM and jai is "unmount" a "system" and I restarted except now he has sony blocks, the start screen.
more I had broken the tip of the phone to connect to usb, so I know what to do, I think I'm wrong here ^ ^
thank you

I'm not quite sure what's happened here but if you're stuck at the Sony Ericsson logo, it sounds like you may have to reflash the phone with either SEUS or Flashtool.
I assume you've already tried restoring a back-up?
Oh, and if your USB socket is broken, you'll have to ask around to see if anyone can fit it or send it off to SE to do it. That socket is essential if you want to do any sort of hacking on your phone. Heck, it's essential if you actually want to use the phone!

thank you!
yes the plug is broken but because it is in the phone person around me can help me and I have already sent a SE but they do not want me to do repair ..
I will try to trick it
and i'm french and i speak english soso ^^

try using your pc companion. that would be the easiest thing to do for a beginner. or try using the flashtool.
or you can try the step shown here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1030902

Plug your phone into the computer and reflash with SEUS. I believe thats your only choice now.....well that and the flashtool.
yup...trying to use the flashtool now...downloading the latest one so hopefully can use a generic rom / install the xrecovery via flashtool first...
but i am still downloading it....bloody connection is so slow here...
Thanks!
Thankfully, you can't actually brick this phone unless it has real hardware failure. All you gotta do is remove the battery (to get it to turn off), then put it back in like 30 seconds later, hold the back button while plugging in usb, then you are in flash mode to install whatever rom you'd like with seus or flashtool
it's alive!!! ahahahahaha...thanks!
so this means it is QUITE the unbrickable!!
unbrickable x10... until u stomp on it .... hahahahaha

[Q] {HELP} another x10 stuck at se boot

hi guys. my x10 froze at se boot and does nothing. i've read through almost all helpfull threads that are similar to my problem but the problem still persist. fyi, i booted to xrecovery, made a backup and i noticed that there were problems in backing up (md5 chcksum, i think). but the backup file was created. i restored using that file and now it is stuck at boot. i can't even turn the phone off. i've tried hard reset, tried using the sues, flashtoo and even pc tools but to no avail. this is due to the phone can't connect to usb. can anyone please help me.
You have do a factory reset and wipe cache?
how can i do that andres3d? are there any way for me to do that? i'm trying but the phone just can't go past the se boot. it's just stuck there. i can't even turn the phone off. the only way is to take out the battery.
Try this, enter into xrecovery and select "factory resect" first at all, then reboot.
I got stuck there too, and I haven't the xRec installed
You can download the SE Update Service (SEUS) and flash the original rom back to it.
Download the software and install, take off the battery, wait a little bit (30s or so), insert the battery back. DO NOT TURN ON THE PHONE YET.
Open the SEUS, choose the phone (X10) and click 'go', or 'ok', or whatever. Keep going and the software will tell you to plug the phone. Plug the phone turned off. When it's plugged, turn it on holding the back button until the software tells you to release.
Wait a few moments... and it's done. Turn on your phone, it should take a little longer to boot, but it's just the first time, then it boots normally.
It's quite easy to do when you know what to do
thanks in advance but i've tried both method and it still got me nowhere. first, i can't boot to xrecovery at all and second, the sues doesn't even detect my phone.
Did you try download a stock firmware from here and install by flashtool?
Do you have installed drivers from x10 to your PC?
I thing the only way is by flashtool, because you don't have xrecovery access l.

[Q] Help! My x10 is dead!

I tried flashing the new CM7 ROM (cheers J) and I turned it on after backing up, wiping and flashing absolutely everything I had to. It went through the normal startup and then after the "Sony Ericsson" logo it said at the top of the screen "Loading custom kernel. Bye!" It then showed the CM7 logo and spent around 5 minutes booting up. I then got the WLOD and my phone just died really ever since then. Every time I turn it on, even when plugging it into the charger, I get a vibration and then the screen gets stuck on the "Sony Ericsson" page and won't change (I left it for 5 hours like that and it didn't change. Also, no matter how much I spam the back button, it will not enter xRecovery. I am slightly worried as I am meant to be going abroad this Wednesday and will definately need it then. Can anyone help me?

SEUS won't recognize my phone... I got it sorted by reflashing the original 2.1 from SE and then rerooting and reflashing xRec so now its practically back to normal. Only thing is though, I can't get rendeiro2005's [ROM][MAY24]BlackEditionHD_1.4_SE[Gingerbread 2.3.4] to work (link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13755473#post13755473) coz everytime I try, I just get WLOD and a reboot cycle. Any help there?

Anyway I've given up on that and am now flashing CM 7.0.3 coz it seems way more stable and from what I've heard there's no getting WLOD with it so far... so yeah cheers guys

[Q] Blank Screen After Flashing Custom ROM

I have been visiting this site ever since I first read about X10 & was fascinated by it (I have always loved SE phones). Anyway, I have since gotten an X10i (AT&T) & have de-branded it as well as unlocking & rooting it. Here goes:
I installed Champs' Rom (x10sV9-addon) but didn't want all the clutter he had pre-installed. To make a long story short, I went back to Wolf's ROM via Xrecovery but something went wrong. I can no longer boot into Xrecovery & after SonyEricsson logo, screen goes blank, not black/blue just blank. The other problem is, since I can't see the screen, I can't turn on the USB connection so my PC/Flashtool/SEUS can recognize my device so I can fix it. This happened while trying to re-install Wolf's ROM & installing the following zip files via Xrecovery: Bravia_Xloud engine, Xperia S Player, Champ + Bar, x10_gb_stock_wifi_modules. Then I rebooted & I get the blank screen. I know it is on because I can turn the volume all the way down to vibrate. The "home" button still lights up. PLEASE, I need someone's help with this one as I am no expert, just a moderate tinkerer. ANY help/incite would be appreciated. Sorry, I can't even give you any screenshots. Can anyone out there help me out? Thanx in advance.

RE: Blank Screen After Flashing Custom ROM
Thanx for getting back to me so fast. As I said, the screen is blank. That is, the backlit display works but I can see nothing else. The "Home" button lights up when i press it but the display does nothing. If/When I reboot to try to enter XRecovery, I see the SonyEricsson logo followed by the backlit screen & nothing else. The Volume up/down buttons work as I am able to silence the phone by turning volume all the way down to vibrate. Because I cannot see what's on the display, I cannot turn USB on/off to connect to PC to run SEUS/Flashtool, etc. I.E. I cannot fix the device. Usually I just boot into XRecovery to fix a problem like this but that doesn't work.
x10
hy, install sony update service and repair your phone, then install again custom rom, the indications how to repair your phone software is in the program.
Best regards

I wish I had gotten this solution sooner. Not sure if it would have mattered. When trying to use Flashtool I kept getting an error saying my phone was not in "flash mode".
I solved my problem by flashing using Omnius & flashing firmware 'X10i_generic_SE_24_MultiTouch.rar'. This got my phone back but it was only 2.1 so I used 'DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su' to get me back to 2.3, but this is where I'm at. I had Wolf's firmware before but right now I have no xRecovery installed. I thought I had rooted my phone but xRecovery isn't installed nor is Busybox.. Any ideas? Thanx in advance...EVERYONE @ XDA-DEVELOPERS rox!
I haven't replied to this post because I'm at my wit's end. I still can't get XRecovery installed & I think I've tried all the methods out there. C if u can repair phone using SEUS now. Open the software without connecting phone. N then go to the update part. It should give u a repair option. Then follow those steps. Or else just connect ur phone n then start software. When it tells u ur phone is up to date click on that n then click on "repair". Then use the latest flashtool to root. Recoveries come with kernels so just flash a custom kernel.

Ur welcome i don't think u need help you just flashed a custom ROM.. the procedure for installing ICS is the same. Although it'd be better if you are on stock before installing it.. just look for an ICS ROM that u like (I'm using feralab n it works like a charm).
Get the kernel n ROM.. as usual, put the ROM zip on ur SD card, flash the kernel, install ROM from recovery
Although before installing:
1. In recovery go to mounts n storage
2. Format system data n cache
3. Mount system, data n cache (note that if the mounting is successful the options should change to unmount system, unmount data, unmount cache respectively)
4. Then install ROM
5. The installer is GUI based so it'll guide u really well through the installation

0.15 BTC reward for unbrick my Z2!

Hey guys!
First of all i do not know if offering a donation for people helping out someone is again the rules here on xda, if so please tell me.
I will make a short intro and tell you that i yesterday received a Z2 from a friend that had upgraded himself with a newer phone so i got this one for free as a gift. (Had an Galaxy SII before)
And guess what, first thing i do is bricking it, genius..
When i got the phone i decided to "what the heck i want to root it" (because i rooted my SII without any problems) Anyhow i looked online and came across this guide made by arul20be, here on xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ck-d6502-03-23-4-0-546-completeguide-t3171219
So i fallowed the guide downloaded everything except that i could not use adb-setup-1.4.2 nor could i use adb-setup-1.4.3. The installation did not extract any files, so i found version 1.3 of ADB and it worked. The rest went flawlessly until i came to the last step, where i booted in to recovery with Dual recovery and installed flashable_D6503_23.4.A.0.546.zip. After that i did as instructed, cleaned cache/dalvik. After that i tried to exit the recovery and choose i think it was "power off system", you guys that are familiar with Dual recovery probably understand where i pressed. After that my phone shut down and after a while either it started up or i started it(don't remember) and it shows the SONY logo, nothing more happened. It didn't not shut down or do anything so i let it be for like an hour or so and then decided to hard shutdown it by pressing power and volume up key. i tried to start it up after a while again to see if maybe something happens, nothing happend and i let the phone be on during the night to see if anything could happen.
So today when the the story was the same i looked online to try to solve the problem, i tried to enter recovery mode by pressing on and then pressing volume up and down but nothing. Did
try to hard factory rest by pressing the red button for a couple of seconds, but nothing. it vibrates three times and then the sony logo comes up again. (is it called bootloop?)
The status now is that the phone, if plugged in to a power source like PC, or wall it will show the SONY logo even if you shut it down with power off and volume up. in other words the phone restarts itself. The only way to shut it down is to do it without a power source.
The fallowing tools+files has been used:
adb-setup-1.3.exe
flashtool-0.9.19.8-windows.exe
rootkitXperia_20140719.zip
Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.installer.zip
D6503_17.1.2.A.0.314_UK Generic.ftf
flashable_D6503_23.4.A.0.546.zip
So the thing is that i really want to upgrade myself with a new phone. In the same time i got like under one bitcoin that i had for a while and because of my stupidness i feel like i can donate to that to the first person who engages him/herself to that level so i can use my phone again.
Sorry for the long post! Thanks in advance!

Dude.. I suggest keep this phone as a showpiece.. And buy a new phone.. Z5 or Z3 with the latter being cheap... Or shell some bucks and give it to Sony service..
But i do hope your phone gets alright again..

Try with flashtool 0.9.18.6. On 0.9.19.x I had some problems with booting (one time stucks at sony logo, one time bootloop, one time freezes all the time, on tme flathtool crashed...)
Download Flashtool 0.9.18.6 and download and flash 23.4.A.0.546 ROM from here: https://mega.nz/#!n1YlBAhI!HX8WPPyjLDJGnUZ-9_Xom96OFZcDUfasgzjuagrj2UE (this is compiled by me FTF File, I'm using it when sth goes wrong) and then, when it boots (must boot because it's not hardbrick), charge it to 100%, download 23.1.A.1.28 5.0.2 ROM from here https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0By-vo9NJkgzJVUo0dVNreFNvSjg&export=download
And flash this ROM and reboot and DO NOT UPDATE. Install KingRoot (the newest is the best) and root it, then install XZ Dual Recovery and that's all.
Hope I helped, if not, write me in comment what went wrong, and, if any errors in flashtool are shown, copy and paste to comment and let mi see them.

Thank you for the reply! i can not see how much my phone is charged and when i charge it the SONY logo shows up, so i do not know how much that drains the battery. But i will wait an hour or so then. Will try method after that! Though my phone was gone, but what i have now read myself to is that Hard brick is first when the phone is totally dead.
Before you answered i was going to do this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53220435&postcount=4
But i will go with your instead first. Should i uninstall my current flashtool and download Flashtool-0.9.18.6-windows.exe instead for now then while i wait for my phone to charge?
found this the file here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4sYgaP5RMK0S1pzUnMzdWd3UnM/view
Edit: did not read your post properly, will start with your custom ROM soon!

of course, stupid of me
A question: was the rom 23.4.A.0.546 ROM really right for Z2? because Flashtool says hold "Back button" and plug in the phone. Z2 does not have a back button, but maybe you could house volume down?

You can only use custom roms with an unlocked boot loader. Locked boot loader requires a sony kernel.
**edit**
Read the instructions he gave you, it's a modified stock rom so that should be fine. I've bricked mine and the flashtool has resolved it so hopefully it will for you
Um... Considering the fact that your phone boots up, I strongly recommend you to try a fresh install with pc companion.... I had somewhat a similar issue and it was the last resort for me and it worked...

I am currently downloading https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0By-vo9NJkgzJVUo0dVNreFNvSjg&export=download and will flash soon. I just have some questions, because i fallowed this guide:
"http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/stock-d6502-23-1-0-726-complete-guide-t3085893" and did install both rootkitXperia_20140719 and lockeddualrecovery. did those programs get wiped when i installed your custom ROM? Sorry for all the questions but i am trying to get a grip how the phones software works, and so i dont mess anything more up when installing kingsroot etc.
Btw. Kingsroot should i download that from google play or is it through PC? If i should download their APK.
Kingroot download apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/one-click-root-tool-android-2-x-5-0-t3107461
Then install xzdual recovery from nut via PC but turn off anti-virus because it shows virus (it's exploit) and then push prerooted zip to sdcard and install via twrp but remember to make factory reset (wipe data and cache - wiping cache can take up to 10 minutes). If you root via kingroot you won't lose data, but when installing prerooted Rom you'll lose your data (but internal memory won't be wiped)

of course! is this the right place?
http://nut.xperia-files.com/path/XZDualRecovery/XZDualRecovery_2.8.25
btw. what does the dual recovery do? never really understood it. and whats a bootloader? Sorry for the questions
Yes, but download for Z2 filename: Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.25-RELEASE.combined.zip when you install it, phone will reboot to TWRP Recovery, so before you install it, place prerooted rom zip to sdcard
