I rooted my amaze and froze some of the t Mobile bloatware and I few others in titanium backup, since then when I try and add a widget the "picture frame" widget is not there. Does anybody know what app in the Amaze controls the picture frame widget?

I really like the photo app on the samsung captivate where it shows like a 3D effect. Is it possible to install the apk on my xperia x10 so i can get that photo app? I also have ADWLauncher EX installed and when I go to change the picture of my icons, it shows the 3D effect but i want the actual app.

I loved to use the to do list widget on my old droid eris and when i looked for it on my thunderbolt i was disappointed.
I tried to copy the apk from my eris to my thunderbolt but the screen size is different so the buttons are right in the middle of the note pad.
So I was wondering if anyone could take the eris widget and resize it for the thunderbolt.
If you dont know what im taking about here is a pic.

Just do the htc sense.com mod, then download it from get more htc widgets. That will be the easier way

I've got a few ideas for apps i'd love to have, but don't know if they exist, or which ones are best, so hopefully someone can help me out
1. Whenever Titanium Backup does a scheduled backup, it closes all apps and HTC sense in order to do a backup. Before doing this, i got about 120-140 free RAM, but after Titanium Backup does a backup, i'm up to 300-350 free RAM. I guess it frees alot of RAM when it closes all the programs.
My question is, is there any app that does this too? Without doing a backup? Maybe a simply 1-click widget that closes them all (including HTC sense) and then opens up the needed apps again?
2.1. I used to use normal HTC sense as my launcher, but switched to ADWLauncher EX. One of the two things i'm missing is a proper 1x1 widget to disable/enable 3g network. There are lots of apps that can make a shortcut to the settings, but i don't want this. I want one similar to the one in HTC Sense.
Any ideas?
2.2. There was a "Sync" 1x1 widget in HTC Sense, which forced it to sync all the items i had chosen whenever i clicked the widget, is there another 1x1 widget for this in the market?
3. In ADWLauncher EX, i can hide the status bar with a simple swipe, but is there any way to hide the app drawer shortcut (which is at the bottom of my screen, where the HTC sense navigation bar used to be), along with all my icons?
So the screen would be completely clean of everything, and all you could see is the wallpaper.
4. When i had my old HTC Desire, i used to have an app that would allow me to assign 1 wallpaper to each of my 7 homescreens, but i can't for the sake of me remember the name of the app, can anyone help me out?

Can anyone help me?
No one can help me? :S
There is a lot off apps for killing running processes. Autokiller, advanced task killer and many more. If you want more ram, change rom .. Im running cm7 and have aprox 330mb free at all time.

Randomly killing apps/processes is not advisable. Android was built to multi-task. Use Watch Dog Lite if you want too see what uses your RAM and CPU. Free RAM is wasted RAM, to some extent. And if you kill everything, you risk missing important things like texts, widget updates, etc.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I have an idea that I'm not sure if it would be legal or allowed here on xda. I installed the free version of beweather on my phone. I love the weather animation videos for that app. So I got thinking. What if just switched those videos with the stock HTC animations. I tried one and it worked! But the problem is, when the weather program opens, it starts with an image of the first frame of the stock video. Is it possible to change that image to the first frame of the beweather videos, so they can be switched out? Would this even be allowed on xda? Beweather is free, so Im not sure.
Sent from EVO LTE using the XDA app
On my previous HTC EVO 4G LTE, I had a nice HTC Photo Frame widget. I understand it might be locked in with the Sense UI as it's an HTC widget, but I was surprised to see it not included on the HTC One M8.
I've tried a few widgets from the play store, but none are as elegant, simplified, and fully functional as the HTC version.
Is there a way to extract this widget from the older HTC phones and use it on the M8? I still have access to my evo for a few more days before I send it back to sprint (good riddance), so if there is something for me to try to get it from the evo, i'm down.
Bump for this. I'm really curious as to why HTC would remove these Photo Gallery widgets from the M8
Another bump for this....I copied the old sense 5 apk to system/app and set permissions to rwrr then rebooted.
The widget appeared and would let me try to assign it to a home screen, but as soon as I did, I got a error msg saying widget stopped working.
So it can be installed but crashes out....maybe you need to be deodexed?
I would love to see someone port this so that it did work though...
