I REMEMBER THIS TWEAK ON THE SENSATION, BUT IT WAS ON CTDROID SETTINGS
THANK TO EBAUL, FOR LETTING ME TO POST THIS, I HAD TRIED IT AND IT WORKS.
I DON'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO POST THIS, SO IF THIS IS THE WRONG PLACE, FEEL FREE TO REMOVE OR MOVE.
If this has already been posted, please kindly disregard post. I didn't find it any other place, so..!
The way I got it to work on mine is I used SQLLite Editor. You must be rooted obviously.
Go to SQLLite and scroll until you find "Settings Storage" (com.android.providers.settings)
Tap it, then tap settings.db
Then tap system
Tap htc_3d_home_screen, then hit your menu button and select "Edit Record"
Change value from "0" to "1"
Reboot phone
Once phone reboots, look at screen, now move phone side by side and you'll see the so called 3D effect you see on the Evo3D.
Not much, but thought some of you might be interested or curious as to how it would look on the Amaze.
You can always switch that off by doing the same thing, then switching the 1 for a "0", then reboot.
I didn't notice battery change either way, your choice
I guess I'll throw in that famous disclaimer: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE BY MAKING THESE MODIFICATIONS, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO MESS WITH THE DB FILES, READ UPON AND LEARN BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING. SOME CHANGES CAN AND WILL RENDER YOUR DEVICE USELESS..

How does it look on the amaze? I'm sure it wouldn't look as good as the evo since in order to get 3d you have to increase the Hz and that also impacts on performance xD

It moves with just tilting the screen at an angle pretty cool..

its pretty cool stead than viewing the 3D effect when you scroll sides on the phone you can see it by just moving the phone sideways,
it woud be easier if somebody could make the zip file or the settings like on the sensation stead than doing it this way,
Very nice. I used a similar tweak that did the same thing in a mt4g ROM but it caused instability. I'm sure with the Amaze it shouldn't be an issue though

I noticed this feature in Virtuous Unity on my MT4G. It was cool for about 10 seconds, but then I realized it was more annoying than useful because I was still trying to read the screen when tilted.
i know i have notice that, why i do to get back straight i touch the weather widget like if im gonna move it, then cancel and done

Hey Guys/Girls,
I just got my EVO 3D from Rogers and for the life of me, i cant figure out how to turn off the animations for the Sense theme. I find the so called 3D animations auto tilting very annoying.
How do i turn those off?
haha, welcome to the boards!
go into settings>display
everything you need (regarding what you asked) is in there
good luck!
Thanks for the info, but the auto-tilting feature isnt the one im looking for.
Im going to try be explain this as best as i can:
When you have any widgets on your homescreen, anytime you tilt your phone (pitch or yaw) you see the widgets tilts and therefore gives you an illusion of a 3d effect.
That animation in particular im trying to get rid off. Or is that a built in effect of 3.0 and cant be turned off?
No, you can disable them. I believe the htc widgets provided with the sense rom have selections for both 3d and non 3d effects. Try a few other widgets from the personalize menu and see if it changes.
bastardized rom. its fast. get some.

These lockscreens are awesome, much more fun than widgetlocker. The only problem is they all need resizing to fit our screens.
I've been trying but without a script and my lack of knowledge its hard work. If you rename the. mtz to .zip then extract it and find lockscreen, rename that to lockscreen.zip and extract that you can edit manifest.xml and resize everything to fit our screens, Ive been dividing all the sizes by 50% to make everything fit on the screen and then trial n error to move everything to the right place. Does anybody know an easier way??

Arrrggghhh so close, this is frustrating !
This one is VA 3way minimal lockscreen, it has a white animated line that should move down between the 2 slider icons when there in the right place and when pressed a phone and sms icon appears at either side which you drag the centre icon to, took me an hour and half to get that close.
Edit: a default one I started last night but forgot to resize the images.

Aaaaaaargh lol it reminds me of the frustrations I got with chronotopia. Just a little bug I found with unlocking..... aswell as the volume and home button method I found holding the back button kills the app and restores original lockscreen too. It's a cm7. Back button kill option I know but for me a lockscreen should only have 1 method to unlock and this app has 3 and for this reason " I'm out " lol
" once its gone,its GONE."
True and I give up too, its too much work for me. this apps still in early stages so fingers crossed it'll get better features and hopefully someone else who is better than me will port all the lockscreens.

I think it's great app other than the fact that you have to resize all of the themes lol. Does it matter if there is 3 ways to unlock? Just use one And you can turn the back button kills app thing off right?
Anyway next phone I'm getting needs to have MIUI
Didn't for one second say it wasn't a good app!!
Yes it matters to me that there are 3 ways to unlock it.
No I can't turn back button kill off due to the fact I use this function.

Hey guys I forgot who had requested a widget to show/hide the system bar In Honey Comb, but here it is! I had a couple people test it before I released it to the market. This is to be used by people who use the Hardware Buttons in HoneyComb. Enjoy
March 18, 2012
Version 3.0 has been released! It includes a smaller widget (1×1) that was requested by users as well as the ability to restore the status bar when the screen turns off. The latter feature allows the widget to be used by more devices that do not have hardware keys.
Along with version 3.0 I have also released a donate version. This version is exactly the same as the free version but costs one dollar for those who feel generous!
You can download it on the android market place by clicking Here for free and Here for donate
Feb 13, 2012
Version 2.0 brings along a new layout as well as more reliable code!

And just incase someone trys this without hardware buttons and opens an app while the bar is hidden the command you can run to get your bar back is:
Code:
am startservice -n com.android.systemui/.SystemUIService
If you feel like donating all money will be put towards my school loans
thanks for this...i haven't installed it because after my initial grumbling i actually prefer the HW buttons off, but it's good to have options

Thanks Victor, works very well and I really like the looks of the screen without the bar
Edit: can the icon be themed?
This is a lot better than honeybar which gets in the way. Thanks!
Unfortunately, htc scribe apps still don't like the removed bar. Good for watching video and reading pdfs though.
EDIT: I have a small request. Can you please make the buttons or hitboxes a little bigger? Sometimes it takes a frustratingly large amount of touches to register a show or hide.
Thank you. Great app.

Actually, in that line, I would simply suggest a one-cell toggle (on or off). It was a somewhat curious decision to make two buttons instead of an on/off toggle.

Wow this ROM definitely is a looker. Cant wait to try it out. Ill def be doing a youtube video (HoshOnline) on this. Thanks for the hard work man.
Suggestions for things to include would be:
Volume rocker to skip tracks
Camera button to wake phone
Half press camera to search
3g/1x fix
Advanced Power Menu
Quicksettings (Extended - latest with long press options)
Remap "Recent Apps" to Menu and Longpress home for Recent apps
Change the linkify .. app? (Disable the patent evasion)
Battery enhancements (dual core when using, single when sleep)
Disable the "optimized" data settings by HTC (disables/slows data during deep sleep)
360 or landscape rosie mods
Remove "Tell HTC" and usb bridge notification
Roaming Only option
Optimized multitask settings
(Pretty much all the mods on the forums hahah)
Personal suggestion:
Remove all the stock crap to slim the ROM (Including voicemail, facebook, twitter, languages other than english, car mode, tunein radio, mail, anything that can be downloaded from market)
Include file explorer, DSPManager, GooManager and Titanium Backup
Use the aroma installer (that thing is awesome)
Include a tweaks menu for making quick changes like the one in Charmelon ROM
Is there a changelog somewhere that I missed? Wondering what the rom features, the wallpaper in pics is cool and the white evo is pimp. Hopefully the rom is as badass as the pics. Suggestion...there are a crap load of stock moded n tweaked rom's already, do something different ..theme, different icons, tweaks menu like charmeleon, etc. Everyone is on the lookout for something different, want proof look at the people drooling for the last month waiting for VenomRom..lol..just my suggestions ..I appreciate anything you contribute to the community either way. Thanks for your time.

I just use it for all apps because I like the way its designed. I am using swipe pad for almost everything but after discovering LMT, I am wanting to get the most out of that
Were you ever able to get gestures to work? I cant get mine to work... wondering whats my problem.

Oh man I thought I was going crazy for not getting it to work... Glad to others have the same issue.
Sent from somewhere between being awake and asleep.
LMT does have a pretty high learning curve. I can't get it to bring up the phone dialer. When I assign the "phone app" to a pie piece, the screen just goes blank after I select it.
I did find that making the piecontrol activation area thickness a lot wider than default makes it much easier to not accidentally get the Apex/Nova launcher menu.
