If your accessing the voicemails via the browser because you got an email notifying you got a GV voicemail then chances are that when you ask to listen the browser is downloading it to the /sdcard/downloads folder thus including it in your music repository when the sdcard search is done.
I would recommend you to delete them from your sdcard so they don't show and to use the GV app to notify / listen to the voicemails.

go to a file explorer or mount the sd card to a computer, and put a file called .NOMEDIA (be sure to include the dot) into the folder those files are in. This will prevent the stock music player from playing them. You can also do this for any folders with pictures that you don't want to show up in the stock gallery.

I have my work voicemails sent to my inbox as wmv files in an email. Ever since I got the fascinate the only way to check the hear the wmv file is to download, change its name to an mp3 file extension inorder for it to open.
If i try and open the file straight from the email it says the attachment cannot be displayed. Is there any program that i can usento open it straight from the email?
I already hace download crutch but that does not help. Any suggestions are really appreciated.
Anyone have an idea?
Have you tried downloading a different app like winamp or something else that says it can handle .wmv?

I have, but it seems that when you are in an emailnyou cant set it to default to an app that can play wmv. Unless i am missing something.
I do a similar thing with .epub files, but since the Gmail app doesn't know what to do with them, it won't let me download them. My workaround is to download them from the Gmail website through Dolphin Browser, which will let you save them to the SD card, named whatever you want to name them.
Here's what I found. The android email app only allows the native media player to open attachments, and the email app can not recogne that an attachment is a wmv so it wont be able to play the file.
I tried to solve the problem by looking for a different media player but could not find one with permission to open email attachments. At this point, i dont think that would have even worked since the email app never recognized the wmv file ext.
So i went with an exchange email client from the market. A bunch actually worked, you just need to see what works for you.

Can you find the folder where those photos are? If you can see it using a file manager, create a file inside that folder and name it .nomedia
Disable Instant Upload in your Google+ settings. Or under Settings > Accounts and sync, IIRC
Seriously, don't people read anymore? G+ prompted if you wanted to enable Instant Upload, and even gave a short description of it.

sorry dude, but I don't have Google+ installed on my phone,so no problem over there, anyways thanks
I want a very simple which I can't find for now. I want an app that syncs certain folders on my pc to certain folders on my phone. Like if I have a in the Sync folder two folders Music and Documents when I add a song or a document in the Sync folder I want with the touch of one button or automatically they to be synced with my device. I tried dropbox but it didn't work for me. I have to favorite all files that I want to be available offline. I tried Android Sync Manager too but I didn't find any option to automaticly sync a folder on my pc with a folder on my device. If I want to sync music I must first add it to Music in Android Sync Manager and then sync.
For music, you can try Google Music. You need to download the PC Program and the Android APK!
When you add music in PC Program, it syncs with your device!

Evening, I have had the problem of my accounts being hacked before a legal process to get to evidence of third party access of my account.
I need to either extract the gmail archive to a pst or be able to copy the database to another device.
Is this possible or how can I do this. Has anyone done such a thing?
Are you rooted? Use something like apps2sd to move Gmail to the SD card. Then also link all data and dex file to Gmail on the SD. If you try to open Gmail at this point it will crash. Put the SD card in your other device and transfer Gmail and it's linked data etc to internal . My best guess
