I have CUBE U9GT2 tablet.
I added a IME(Google Korean IME) to /system/apk and baked a rom.
But the IME doesn't work. 'Google korean keyboard stopped' messages bother me.
I think this problem is because of the permission. IME needs user's permisson.
What can i do for the properly working this IME?

Hi everybody,
I got my new LGOO. I am not new to Android, I was using a phone with 2.1 before and I want the same keyboard than before.
* Dictionary
When I active the Android Keyboard there is no prediction which word I want to write, only the ones from my contacts.
I found a tool in the market (User Dictionary Manager (UDM) 3.1) but this only adds words to the user dictionay and doesn't make differences between languages. I want to use english and german from time to time so I need it both seperated. It seems like the phone doesnt have the languages files out of the box. Is it somehow possible to copy and paste it to the system? (I have root access)
* Correction
Also it doesn't correct my errors of typing. This worked under 2.1 and I can't find an option to activate it.
Thanks

Someone has solved installing the gingerbread keyboard.
I solved installing Swype keyboard.

this happens only with stock roms. i tried the Android keyboard on custom roms and it was perfect.

anyway, I'm really glad that the "gingerbread keyboard" app works and replaces the default kb.
btw, I just installed the newest Swype beta and it's simply awesome.

Just installed custom ROM and would like to have the "sym" key enabled again so that it offer smilies when you press the key as it's set up on the stock rom.
Anyone knows how to do that?
Thanks
what rom do you have ? Anyway, disable IME keyboard or android keyboard in settings/Keyboard and languages, reboot and it should work.
I use the [ROM]MiniCM7 Pro - V6 Final (GingerBread 2.3.5) - Camera 5MPX. But anyway I tried what you suggested and it worked. Thanks for the quick solution !
Hi,
I'm using CM7.1 on a SGS I9000, and when selecting Hebrew, all the menus appear in this language. I'm not sure if it's a feature of CM7, or someone enabled it just for SGS I9000 and other selected devices.
Before installing the CM7 for this device (I5500), I want to ask if it supports the Hebrew language (I mean full menu display in this language, not just RTL and font support)
Thank you

sure it's a language available in CM7, how couldn't it be that way?
A rom / firmware is what we can call a OS (it's an easy way to call it, 'cause it's not really an OS) and thus it has inside languages! You can even check with an archive manager (apk files could be opened with it) and open apk like LatinIME or Setting, for example, and you'll find the supported languages..
Dear All;
I wondered if I will find answers for my question,
I had MIUI 2.9.21_4.0 for HTC Desire HD, OK the ROM support Arabic very well, and I install Parfield keyboard for Arabic input and it's OK.
but there is any way to add Arabic keyboard for the stock IME, i.e. when I go through Settings -> Languages & Keyboards -> Touch Input -> International Keyboards, nothing except English, there is any way to extract some files from HTC One X or HTC XL Arabic Stock Roms and add to MIUI ROM?
Hi !
I needed to reinstall swype on my phone. After I did it, I discovered that language pack can't be downloaded (same as themes or registration)...
So I'm looking for some language pack (and how to use it) or just installation file with polish language included,.of swype+dragon.
I know, swype is dead for over 1,5 year, and there are many other keyboards, but I tried every of them, and still swype is best for me (copy, paste, search, etc. shortcuts !)
My phone: htc u12+ with android 9.0
Thanks in advance !
