Just wanted to know if anyone was using bluetooth headphones on their Rezound? Any recommendations in the $50 range? How does the DSPManager sound with them? I need something that will get me through an 8 hour work day without having to charge off and on. Thanks in advanced!
I have a pair of Motorola Bluetooth stereo headphones that work great. They are the behind the ear model. I've had them for about a year now and the battery still holds about a 10 hour charge.
I don't use the equalizer with them on this set, but on my old phone (Samsung Charge) the Bluetooth sound was not controlled by the settings for the amp
Motorola S305
I actually haven't used them with my Rezound yet, but I have a pair of the Motorola S305s as well and they worked great with my Incredible. Very durable, great sound quality, great battery life, reliable Bluetooth connection.
Best Buy's Rocketfish RF-MAB2 works great! $59.99 Also used these with my retired Incredible..

This. they are pretty awesome.
I have the Motorola SD-10HDs and they work great aswell. DSPManager works when you set the bluetooth settings. My headphones are also sweat proof.
Awesome! Thanks for the response everyone! Any thoughts on any bluetooth earbuds? I tend to find them more comfortable to listen to but I'm open to checking out the suggestions everyone made.
Gotta wait for my Rezound to come back from repair. Hopefully they're fixing my headphone output but if they don't, I'll look into bluetooth headphones as an option.
If you haven't already bought, check out the MW600 by sony. I can get a solid 6-8 out of them and they are pretty comfortable. Not to mention you can use them with any headset you want.

These are amazing headphones, I ended up breaking mine by accident and ended up getting the Jabra Halo set (also sold at Bestbuy). They are a bit more pricy but they were worth it to me. They fold up real nice and hold up a really great charge, used them for 3 days without charging, and they have some great sound quality to them, also has some cool touch-like controls on it for volume, skipping tracks and making/taking calls. Call quality is pretty nice too
I have a set of these:
I got these for a penny + shipping from Tmobile (it was on slickdeals.net it was incorrectly priced and was only up for a few hours) and I couldn't be happier. Glad I finally got rid of the cord. I can listen to music, answer phone calls, adjust volume, skip songs. Simply amazing.

I bought these at Best Buy..
JayBird- Freedom Bluetooth Earbud Headphones
Great sound for music and while talking. Extra earbuds to find the right fit. Holds about a 8-10 hr charge while using. Days on standby. Only problem is the rubber piece that covers up the usb port is hard to get opened if you have big fingers. Other than that a great pair of headphones for under $100.

I've had some Motorola rokr s9's sine they came out. They are still great.probably hard to find now though. I'd go with some s9hd's because they match the rezounds color scheme, red/black.

Hey fellow wing users,
I'm residing in Southern California and they recently passed a law that hands free headsets are required as of July 1st,2008. Just wondering what everyone is using to see what my options are.
If you can please post Brand and Model and where you got it

Yeah im in the military and on any military installation you are required to use hands free. I use a Motorola T505 for in car, it has a pretty loud speaker and can be played through your radio. I use a BlueAnt Z9 for in ear bluetooth. They are both pretty damn good and can be found on Newegg dot com.
Good post
I use the Jawbone its good !!
looking for good excuse to buy new one one plus is the noise cancellation option works
i have first version one new ones thiner
http://www.jawbone.com/
thanks for the replies. both are very good. the jawbone looks nice but how does it function? i'm trying to compromise looks and functionality as much as i can
noise-canceling technology is great
here a good place for some reviews of different ones
it hot don't want to type 104* off to pool
i use the big clunker
http://www.welectronics.com/Bluetooth/motorola_ht820.jpg
but i love it.. when im on the bus i hear no sound when i have the volume up at a good level.. if i want ot hear i lower it and can hear almost everything and my music
there big there ugly
i use them for 45 minutes to a hour a day and charge then every 3 weeks..
but thye are kick a$$
I use Tritton TRI-BH102 it has been pretty good to me. Battery life is 4hours+ constant stream range is limited to 10' anything more than that is most likely to disconnect. The thing I like about it is the 3.5mm jack.
I use the Jabra BT250v for talking. It's not the one in the link, but it looks just like it. It's the loudest and clearest one I've found in the store. It's very comfortable despite the way it looks. I've forgotten that I was wearing it quite a few times. It has an earpiece that goes into your ear and it sounds like the caller is standing next to you. I talk for about 3 hours a day, and I charge it once a week. It was $50 at Best Buy. I liked the SE HBH-610 more, but I don't think they make them anymore. I've heard really good things about all the Plantronics, but they were too expensive for me.
I use the SouthWing SA505 for stereo music. It's loud, music sounds good, and the battery last for months. I use it in the gym for 2 hours a day, 6 days a week, and to talk when I forget to charge my Jabra. I charge it about once every other month, but it's never actually died on me so it could probably go longer. And it was only $23 with shipping on eBay!
I have one by caselogic, a CLST-100
It cost $16 on double clearance, and it works about as much as it costs.
But the fact of the matter is that it works
I'm using both Jawbones (new and original) I find the new one to be more comfortable
man some dope head phones here, made it even harder for me to choose lol .. i was going to stick with a simple motorola but dam hahaha i have more options now
thanks guys keep em coming!
Out of the few BT headsets I have I find I really only use my JVC HAW700BT set anymore. It's got a stereo jack so I can use whatever headphones I like and when not on the phone I can move the main body of it to my belt. This one can also connect to your car stereo if it's got an Aux input and you can use it as a hands-free set. The battery life is excellent... at least for me.
The only "con" for me is that the charger's connection at the bottom of the main body isn't miniUSB, just some plain two pin connector. Gonna make my own adapter for it so I can charge on the go.
http://www.gadgetell.com/tech/comment/jvc-intros-new-bluetooth-transmitter-and-headset/
I haven't looked to see if it's more common now. When I got mine i had a very hard time finding anyone who even had it in their computer, much less in stock, and it wasn't on JVC's site either.
I use the jabra bt8010 stereo headset. I'm simply in love with this thing. the sound quality is outstanding. I find myself using my wing for music more than my ipod because of the headset. If your wearing both pieces phone calls sound as if you are in the same room with the person. check ebay they used to go for between 90.00 and 110.00$$ but now you can find them for as low as $40.00. Now if I could only figure out how to setup my voice command to be used on te headset?
I use a Motorola. Excellent sound quality, And compatible with A2DP ( Music via Bluetooth thing ).

i was looking into this one because of the simplicity of it. right now it seems like the best bang for the buck.
I use the Motorola H700 with no problems
Motorola H700 for me to very good, talking on phone is good, music sounds good ... MSVC sucks big time, i got mine off ebay for 22 bucks
I have the cheapest Jabra I could find in the shop, 10 UK pounds.
It's rubbish. I bought it just to try how bt headsets work.
Interestingly (although maybe I'm the last one to find out), using the attached cab I can send all sound through it whether it likes it or not (it would only work when there's a call otherwise).
What is the model number for Motorola BT head set
Hi, I thought it would be cool to see what kinds of headphone setups we're using. Here's mine:

I love them- for under 60$, they are the best phones I've found...I've been through a few different sets, and have returned them all, until these.
And I run them through the Fiio E5 amplifier.

This little thing is awesome. If you don't use one of these, get one! I can't believe the difference it makes in my listening enjoyment. On headphones, or through a 3.5mm to my car stereo, this thing gives a richer sound, more bass- (lots, if you turn boost on) and a lot more volume. I used to have to turn my car stereo up pretty loud to get the volume I wanted out of my portable sources, and it would mean that I'd have to deal with some degree of electronic hiss- That's gone. Also, sometimes I like to listen to music at ridiculous, ear damaging volume- and I would turn the volume all the way up on my Ipod or tablet, and it would be loud, but not really loud... Now, with the amp-I can turn it up till it hurts... and I'm afraid to go louder... It's awesome.
I bought a 3.5mm Monster cable with these , and I gotta say I LOVE the sound now..
What do you guys use?
Koss
I use Koss Porta Pro. I love wearing these headphones. Excellent sound and cheap.
I use Koss Pro DJ100's, which I bought at Best Buy a few months ago when it was on sale for $45-50. I love them. The sound is very detailed, with good depth, bass and soundstage. You really have to run them through an amp, though, otherwise they don't sound as good. I run them through a Fiio E7.
I also use Monster Turbines for earphones when I dont' want to carry my full sized cans around.
For portability I use the Sansa Clip+ with Etymotic ER4Ps. At home I use ER4S or AKG K702 with my HeadAmp Pico DAC/amp.

I have a now ancient Plantronics Pulsar 590E Bluetooth stereo headset that works well. There is a slightly noticeable audio lag when watching movies, but it's not enough to be a problem for me. Amazingly, this last week, I was able to get factory replacement ear pads when mine disintegrated from age.
Bye.

Now that I've seen what a difference an amp makes, I can really see myself upgrading to this one- do you love it, or is it better to go straight to the REALLY expensive units?

That amp he mentioned is decent for IEMs but if you want to properly power over the ear headphones you may want something a little bit better.
I went with the Pico brand because I couldn't find anything else that could have that much power AND output a flat frequency response.

I had a pair of those, they were nice.
Lots of serious eadphones around here!
I nearly spent the cash for the Klipsch image one phones today... my kicker cans have good bass, but aren't overly "punchy"... i listened to the KI1`s, and I liked th bass response but I wonder if the punch would become overbearing on certain music styles without constant e.q. tweaking...
What do you guys think are the best over/on ear phones for 150 or less?
Koss Porta Pro. They seem to be very popular.
All, I have my Motorola bluetooth stereo headphones. Cost me like $60.00 and I love them. They are over the ear and fit comfortable.
I have my Beat's by Dre' for $300.00 and they are OK. Blew a bunch of money.....
Went to Target last night and got in-ear Skullcandy from JIB for $9.99 and I LOVE them!!! deep base, clear sound, and they fit comfortable for someone that does not like inserting crap in my ear!!! Im not a fan of wired anything BUT, these things are sweet! and if your going out and don't need them, ball them up and put in your pocket!

Agree. I have some as well and I love them. Especially since they have different sized plugs to put over the ear buds (the silicone covers or whatever the hell they are that make them stay in your ears). I have tiny ears and most ear buds won't stay in and start to hurt, but these are nice.

If you want the best sounding earbuds around, try these. http://www.overstock.com/Electronic...oise-Reduction-Earphones/6053065/product.html
I was at a Marshall's and there was a pair that were opened. I plugged them into my Photon, which I use CM9 Music on and I was blown away. The bass response is seriously insane. I've had other cheaper ones that I have thought were pretty damn amazing and even sounded better than Beats in ears but these take the cake by far. If you check Marshall's you can probably find em. They were $9.99 there. I saw them at Wal-mart for around $20.

Exactly. They so incredible. I also got another pair that are developed in Sweden and have the Punisher logo on them. I know it sounds cheesy but they are amazing and not expensive at all either. They aren't the cheesy ones you'd buy for a kid. They are these ones here. Also got them for $8.99 at Marshall's http://www.superherostuff.com/punis...ear-comfort-headphones.html?itemcd=headbudpun

A huge selling point for me is long term wearability. Who cares if it is the best sound ever created if you can not wear them for more than 10 minutes at a time because your ears ache.
Both of these headphones can easily be listened to for a couple of hours with no problem and still deliver a really good sound.
I know I'm asking for a lot but I also want over the ear (not over the head DJ) or clip style. I read the headphone threads here in their entirety but nothing addressed my specific needs. I don't need anything fancy and to give you an idea, here's what I've been using for years now:

As you can see I'm not an audiophile when it comes to headphones. I bought my first pair of these about a dozen years ago and bought them for use under a motorcycle helmet. The look like they would be uncomfortable but surprisingly they are more comfortable under a helmet than ear buds which are smaller.
I digress.
I want something that is similar in design to these but I want an inline mic and music controls. I would like to be able to answer/end calls, play/pause music and skip forward & backwards. What I'm finding is that lots of these earphones won't control the Android phones fully. It sounds like some include free apps that will bring full functionality to the Android OS. For instance, these Philips earphones say they will do all sorts of snazzy things with the free app but the question is do these apps that manufacturers offer allow you to keep whatever music playing app you use? For instance, I use Google Music to stream all my music as my primary player so will this app work in union with this app? I would rather spend less but if these work as advertised I don't mind spending that much to get something that does what I need it to do. Here is another option for about 1/3 the price as those Philips but I don't know if they will work on the Android as it lists iPhone and Blackberry and I know some have issues.
I know someone will try to recommend more expensive headphones but if it's strictly for sound quality, I really don't care to spend more money to be honest. Look what I've been happy with for the past decade or so. Just looking for the cheapest corded headphones that meet my needs here.
Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. I bought some Beats Tours at Best Buy today to get me through my trip I leave for in a few hours. Naturally $150 is WAY more than I planned to spend so I also ordered some knock-off Beats headphones that were around what you told me to search for. I plan to compare them side by side when they arrive and if the real headphones are 10x better I will keep them. This isn't likely but if the difference really is that big I'll keep them. So far I'm underwhelmed but haven't had too much of a chance to use them. I basically plugged them in long enough to install the free app 'Jays Headset' to configure it. Now, even though I only have the one button I have FULL controls of my phone and it appears to work flawlessly with limited testing I did. I may revisit this thread later on but for now I think I've got what I need. As I said in the OP I wanted clip style so if I decide I hate these in-ear style (possible) I will start fresh trying to find some more clip over the ear style.
Okay,
Much has been made about the sound quality or lack of quality speaker(s) on this device. For the folks who are running high end iems, headphones, DIY joints, Koss titanium modded drivers, Full size cans etc...
What is your personal setup for audio listening pleasure??
Also don't forget to include amps etc..

My setup will be
JH16's
Ray Samuels Hornet or JDS Labs cMoyBB
Note 3 (Not yet purchased)
Bose MIE2 outside and Sennheiser HD555 at home.
Try to encode in 192kbps ogg and hear.
Why would you use the note 3 if you have a high end set up?

Sennheiser IE8 or V-Moda M100 depending on the situation.

As a portable on the go setup??
Some folks are over the secondary hifi setup that is sometimes carried around.
If you can keep it to a source device, amp and iems or headphones. That's pretty much carry anywhere without it being obtrusive.
I use JVC HA-FXC80 with comply foam tips. They are cheapish but give off an amazing sound. For the price nothing can touch them. Same goes for my pc headphones HA-RX700. Inner earphones last me a year or so because I run/bike with them so I don't bother getting an over the top pair that I know aren't going to last anyways.

Price only matters when dealing with the elitist of the hobbyist, if the headphones bang then they bang... I had a pair of Koss clip on's and with the mod those things were really nice. The cost was less than $10, but they out performed on a regular basis headphones costing $50-70 easily.
Once you try custom molded iems you will never go back to regular in ear phones. I have a pair of JH16's and can't say enough about the quality or response or sound etc.... Are they expensive? Yup, are they worth it? Yup... But I also have cheapies that I love as well... Just depends on my mood... And what I am listening to...
Beats Mixr
I initially tried the original earphones guess what....threw it away. No choice but to use my Beats Mixr and so far no complaints..
Use my Atomic Floyd darts, what else?
Ultimate Ears UE18 Pro custom IEMs. Also have Sennheiser HD600 and a few others.
my bluetooth headphones xD http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-1RBT-Premium-Bluetooth-Headphone/dp/B009A6D034
My chain looks like this:
Note 3 loaded with FLAC --> HeadAmp Pico USB DAC/amp via USB OTG --> headphones. Mostly use my T5p with it, sometimes my UE900, sometimes my LCD-2 when the mood takes me and I'm not near my desktop setup.
Well I use beat mixer..and they are working quite well...till now no problem with them...but the original Note 3 headsets sucks not far true to the expectations....
Flame away...
I love the way they sound.
I think I want a set of these for running the dog. Just so I can be the most hated man on any audiophile forum. Lol
JH Audio 16 Pro amped with a cheaply E17
Damn, just googled those. Almost $1200???
