I have searched everywhere but have not found a way to import my bookmarks to the Firefox Android app. It appears to me that the only option at the moment is to enter them manually, a deal killer if you have a lot of bookmarks.
Does anyone know how to do this, preferably with organizational folders in place?

Is there any way to import bookmarks from a desktop browser (any really, I'll work out the conversion) or from an html/xml file into the standard browser on the SGS2 (Internet app) in a way the retains folder structure? All of the methods I've tried (e.g., MyBookmarks, GMarks, importing into Dolphin browser and then exporting) at best manage to put the bookmarks into "Most visited" as a flat list. Kies can create bookmarks but, as far as I can tell, only one at a time, and there's no way to create folders. The app itself can create folders but there doesn't seem to be a way to import bookmarks. Any ideas?
Work around i used on SGS 1 was to save bookmarks on PC as html .
Copy that to a folder on SD card open that html bookmark file load the relevant site and then bookmark it in the phone .
Import bookmarks never got that to work .
However the same method may work with Dolphin use the Dolphin Bookmarks to SD app save existing bookmarks this creates a folder .
Navigate to Tunny Browser file open open bookmarks and paste in bookmarks from PC .

I use google chrome on my desktop, so I use this app https://market.android.com/details?id=com.h.chromemarks&feature=search_result 'ChromeMarks' to sync my bookmarks.
Then I just open up the app on my phone, and upon clicking on a bookmark, it will ask my which browser to use. You can select a default action aswell, so it just goes straight to browser A forexample.
Ok just tested this method copy bookmarks to phone from PC into Dolphin Browser .
Install Dolphin Bookmarks to SD from market .
Run app and export bookmarks to create folder bookmarks .
On PC save bookmarks as bookmarks.html .
Copy to phone Via USB Dropbox Wifi whatever . to internal sd card Tunny Browser Bookmarks folder .
Open Bookmarks to SD and Import selection the file you just copied across .
Worked with my two hundred odd bookmarks .

Very interested in everyone's comments and experience on this thread as I'm a browser addict and the good rendering speed was a big part of the reason why I bought an SGS2.
I tried Chrome to phone, Dolphin Bookmark Sync and Firefox Sync plugin all to no avail. It's not that they don't work, it's just that CtP will just create an app with no true integration with your mobile browser, Dolphin doesn't support subfolders and neither does FF.
In fact, the 'best' solution I found was to *gasp* switch from Chrome to Opera on my two desktops, enable OperaSync and now I can use opera mobile on android with all the bookmarks synced between the 3 devices.
Interestingly, Opera is also the only mobile browser to support ALL of the following: 'open in background tab' type click, proper UA spoofing and subfolders in bookmarks, and sync of course.
I can't wait for the next release of Android to come out - hopefully they will make a 'chrome-like' something the default browser and enable a sync over the cloud.
What do you guys think?

Yes, this does work well - thanks. The other (similar) possibility that works is to use Firefox Sync within Firefox Mobile and the desktop client. I don't really like the mobile version, though. Opera Mobile is better, but I was (am) really hoping to use the native browser.
it might be a stupid question, but I couldn't manage to find my self an answer; is there any way to import Firefox bookmarks into a stock browser?
I am a new Tab user and I am pulling my hair out trying to get my bookmarks imported. In Internet Explorer, I have a well organized set of bookmarks that includes about 25 folders and over 600 links. I cannot seem to duplicate this on the Tab and it is really starting to piss me off.
I have successfully imported these bookmarks along with their folders to Chrome but nothing has synced with my Tab for almost three days. I have read that this is normal but cannot figure out why or when the sync will occur, if ever.
Using a very rough app called Mybookmarks, I have been able to import the bookmarks into the stock browser. Of course, all the folders are now gone. I now have to scroll through 600 bookmarks every time just to find the one I want. It should not be this hard.
I prefer the performance of the Dolphin browser but so far have been totally unsuccessful at importing any bookmarks into this app. Again, I cannot believe that it has to be this hard. Maybe I am missing something.
Android is hyped as being much better and more flexible than Windows and/or IOS. So far I am not seeing it. What good is a browser if you have no bookmarks or they are totally unorganized. Can Google have overlooked this very important feature?
I doubt that so it must be pilot error. Please, someone point me in the right direction so I can get this problem solved.

Hey. I've been getting pretty pissed off with stock browser and Chrome beta as they're both slow and hang all the time for me. So I downloaded Dolphin to check it out. I've given it my google account details when it asked for them, and received the confirmation email from them to confirm its my email account etc. etc.
But I can't get it to import/synchronise with my google bookmarks. I have manually synced it so many times and nothing shows up. Bookmarks empty...
Any ideas?
Cheers.

It does not sync with your google bookmarks, how I wish it did.
That is for your Dolphin account, download dolphin on your phone, sign in with your google details and your bookmarks will sync between the two dolphin browsers.
It is Dolphin only.
That's poor. Although I assume it's because Google reserve access to Google account information to Google apps? Fair enough really.
Is there an easy way to get around this? So far Dolphin is working out better than the others for me, but would like a quick and easy way to import bookmarks.
Cheers.

Dolphin can import quite well, export from chrome or whatever and then import.
Sorry - you say Dolphin can import quite well, but I can't figure out how to do it. In the Import Bookmarks section in settings, it only gives the option of importing from Dolphin, Dolphin mini or stock browser.
I'd also like to import these bookmarks into the stock browser - can't figure that one out either!
Does anyone know of an android browser which can import bookmarks in a text file, and then export the bookmarks in an html file… all current popular(?) browsers will only import in html… and i need to convert this list of bookmarks, and i am trying to avoid trying each and every freaking browser in this space-time continuum, ONE AT A TIME, if you know what i mean... any and all help is and will be GREATLY appreciated, thanks in advance, and have a super day/week/end.…
