You mean it wont show your network when you go to pick network?
Were you able to connect to it before?
DO you have your router set to hide? That makes it not show up when doing a search for networks on any device.

I have WIFI with GB, but after upgrade to HC, WIFI is not working properly. When I enable the WIFI, it first shows some WIFI routers for just some moment, and then all disappear, no more WIFI router in the list. This will repeat everytime I disable and enable the WIFI in the Settings. Using Static IP also hasn't helped, as there is no signal to be connected. I have used Wifi_Analyzer_2.5.6.apk in GB it works fine, but in HC it is working but no signal detected.
I should say on GB I was successful to get SMS, MMS and after using the method in XDA, also GSM calls. It worked fine with WIFI, and even I used Proxdroid on GB. But after the upgrade through OTA, WIFI has dissapeared. After rooting and CWM installation I may get SMS, MMS and GSM calls in HC again, but the WIFI completely is gone. I am so sorry as the HC is working better and more fuently than GB, I swear.
To more elaborate, I first install on my Flyer the following RUU, after reverting back to not ROOTed and S-ON:

Eveything is still working well. Like before. The only thing that has been added to GB with this upgrade is ARABIC support, as much as I may find. Then After getting the following OTA the problem start:
OTA_Flyer_HC_S_HTC_ARA_3.62.415.8-1.56.415.4_release_235477hb5j18pjknwgltkb.zip
It seems that WIFI hardware get off for some reason. I may need to change my CID Num to make it work.

Crazy thing happened. I rooted my phone, still using default rom, ran for months, and NOW I get wifi "error"
When I go to the settings menu and try to connect to wifi, listed below "Wi-Fi" in the checkbox area is "Error"
Working fine for MONTHS...now, wifi broken. This happened in the past 24 hours with no changes on my part. I haven't even installed any apps through the store.
The wifi network I am on is protected with WPA, and I trust that my roommate can't hack my phone ;-)
So unless someone broke into my network, I can only assume that Verizon changed my phone or that it just broke magically.
Anyone else having this problem?
I'll look in to this error, manually, but I just wanted to put this out there in case the WAS some firmware change that broken things for people in the past 24 hours or if this is a somewhat common problem, get some feed back.
I have searched and I have not seen such an error happen without some direct cause such as rooting, changing roms, or running debloat applications, which I have NOOOOOOT done in the past 24 hours, nay, past MONTH.
Install any apps recently? maybe you installed some malware.

What kernel are you running?
u are running a kernel, such as say, the 1.xx kernel, with the 2.xx wifi module..
u need wifi module, to match that of the kernel being used.
As default as default could be. I haven't installed any apps lately either. Just been a good little user. I've only rooted for backup purposes and to have terminal access.

It looks like your rom and kernel don't match up correctly. Assuming it isn't a hardware issue (unlikely) this post should fix you:

Hi guys,
Hope someone can help me out on this.
I have unlook and s-off my htc evo 3d to upgrade the firmware (to 11.77.3504.00P_11.25.3504.06_M from official release 3.28.707).
However, after I have done the upgrade, my phone no longer have 3g data any more (still can make phone calls and connect to wifi), no matter what rom I flash into.
Anyone had similar problems before?

Two things.
1. do ##DATA# and enter edit mode, enter MSL and select profile. Click menu/reset profile. Phone will reboot and do a handsfree activation. THat should solve it.
2. If it doesn't work, call sprint and have them reprovision your phone.
I believe he is gsm. But your suggestion should work for him anyways. He would just have to call his carrier if the first suggestion didn't work.
I got wifi error right after flash firmware 2.06 (OTApkg.zip) directly from 1.15 without going to 2.04.
When i look into hardware information, both WiFi MAC address and Bluetooth address in unavailable. I am still got pop up message if any wifi available but unable to connect. I have tried to flash firmware 2.04 and 2.06 again but still have problem.
Please help how to recover both address. My DNA is s-off.

Have your wifi problem solved with flash ruu 1.15?
I rooted and flashed SlimBean [Build 6.9] yesterday. Everything looks good, except I cannot connect to my WEP secured WiFi. The network and correct password are stored, but when I hit connect nothing happens. I've tested WiFi out on a non-secure network and it worked fine. Is there any solution to the WEP problem?
WEP is really insecure and can be cracked normally in under ten seconds now. Can you not use WPA2 or at least WPA android seems to have issues with WEP.

I don't have access to the router, so I guess I'm out of luck.
in settings/ WIFI hit menu then advanced and set frequency band to only 2.4 and see if it helps also check the box "best performance" first and try the frequency change with it on as well. best of luck. is it a N signal or G,B ect.? also what are the first xx:xx of you wifi mac since maybe it doesn't have a true one, the first two indicate manufacture and should be of HTC i believe.

Problem solved. Just flash rom stock 2.06, and wifi back to normal.

Aight,I've searched similars threads on this forum and I cant seem to fix this problem :/,I'm using an HTC Merge stock gingerbread,Im trying to use it with a GSM network in dominican republic,it sometimes connect to the network but only last for a few hours then i have to turn on/off radio to get it working,when signal drops it says ''Limited Service'' on my screen and when i try to connect manually to the network it says ''Your Sim card doesnt not allow a connection to this network''.
I've tried:
Reload gingerbread stock rom.
Factory reset.
Change baseband to ''USA Band''(it worked but only for a few hours).

So, Iv'e been perusing these forums for a number of days now, and have successfully managed to transfer an old Verizon Droid Incredible 4G LTE over to T-Mobile's Family Mobile Service. I did run into some hiccups along the way, but I did manage to flash TWRP recovery, unlock the bootloader, and achieve S-OFF successfully. I also updated the firmware of the radio since I was not even able to connect to any mobile network previously.
The phone is running CM 10.2.1 fireball currently, and functions well if not for a few minor issues. However, I am unable to connect to the 3G service at all, and am forced to attempt to browse the internet at EDGE speeds. I made sure to turn all the location services on while the phone was running stock and connect to GPS as per the installation instructions. I searched around various other threads for methods others have tried, which helped me root the phone and install CM in the first place, but I still cannot fix this last issue. I have tried fiddling around with various mobile network settings for a while, but still cannot resolve the issue. Now the phone is unable to connect the the Internet successfully through Wi-Fi or Edge.
If anyone can offer me some guidance, or needs more information regarding my phone in order to help me properly, please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE 4/16/14:
So I ended up restoring a stock recovery, after trying out various CM11 builds to no avail. I managed to find a baseband radio on a Chinese forum which allows me to connect to 3G, but was unsuccessful in finding any radios that would support the 1700/2100 bands required for T-Mobile 4g LTE speeds. I would be interested in learning how to port a compatible T-Mobile radio which supports the LTE bands, but my searching attempts have not been successful so far.
