[Q] ICS Email App limted to 30 days sync - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

The ICS Email app (not the GMail app) only allows you to sync up to 1 month (30 days).
On my Verizon GNEX phone also on ICS the sync setting allows "ALL".
Am I missing something? Is there a work around? Are there other ICS tablet apps that will sync all messages?
My email account ends with "@msn.com".
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Random emails being sent?? (Stock Froyo)

I've just picked up my Vibrant 2 days ago and updated it through Kies to the latest version. Says 2.2 FROYO.UVKA6 in the menu.
Had 2 Yahoo email addresses setup and 1 Gmail account. The Gmail was setup in the e-mail app as well as the native Gmail app.
Now I had been replying to a friend a couple of times, from my Gmail account (probably from the e-mail app). After a while I got some replies back, with the same subject as the emails I'd replied to, but what he received where random emails from my Yahoo inbox!!
Of course I removed the Yahoo accounts right away, but does anyone know about this problem, and what can I do about it?
Thanks!

[Q] OTA ICS and now syncing tasks is gone?

Hello,
Just installed ota ICS last night. I did have to recreate my corporate sync settings to get email from exchange again. When I went to look at my tasks I noticed they were empty. I went and checked the settings under the corp sync account and found the option to sync calendar, email and contacts, but the tasks option is now gone. Did they intentionally remove this setting, or did them just move it to another area? I would like to be able to continue to sync my exchange tasks natively like I could before the ICS update.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Change calendar sync options??

Hey guys,
In the stock android Calendar app, you can specify HOW much in the past to sync (past 30 days, forever, etc.)
I can't find any such version in Samsung's calendar app, nor could I in the accounts settings of the phone. Does anybody know how I can make all my past events sync to my phone??
Thanks,
Kyle

gmail account is gone from mail app

Hi All
I have an international galaxy s3, so far I have used it as a regular user without any “shenanigans”
I have 3 mail accounts setup in the mail app
-Gmail
-Hotmail
-Exchange
Since 4 days ago, the gmail account has disappeared from the mail app (I still see it in the settings/accounts & sync)
The other two accounts are still there and working fine
Every time I manually re-add it like a new account into the mail app, it seems to work fine but within a few hours it disappears again, as if it was never there.
I would be very grateful for insight on this
Thank you very much

[Q] Native email app is slow with hotmail

Hi,
I have a galaxy s3 - which is the reason I am posting here - and have Android version 4.1.2 running. On 4.1.1 the email client was - in my experience - great. I had 2 gmails, a hotmail and an exchange email address syncing. There were no major speed issues or anything
When I upgraded tot 4.1.2 the sync of gmail when smooth as I expected. Then I tried to add my hotmail using active sync.
All went well and I set up my email to sync for all my emails - which I had in 4.1.1 as well and it is about 15K emails - It started downloading them in batched of 5 from last to newest. Everytime it synced about 20 and stopped. I have push set up and while roaming use the set up config - not manual - It took about 2 days to sync all my mails which I find strange because it didn't on 4.1.1 as well as download 50Kb of the message.
Is this a bug or is it my inbox or what is the problem?
Is there any other app that has combined inboxed for gmail, hotmail en exchange?
Thanks in advance,
Dunky
I don't ever use the Mail app as I have only Gmail accounts so cannot really point out the problem but what I can do is that advise you to use AquaMail (Search on Play Store) and see whether it provides a nicer experience.
Hit Thanks button if I helped you.
Not working for me since I want to use exchange active sync of hotmail: m.hotmail.com - AquaMail only supports IMAP and POP3 neither of them I like
