Hi guys.
I am on Xperia Mini Pro Stock. When I press the volume down button, I noticed that it switches to ring than vibrate. If you play with the settings, then it's switches to ring/silent.
Where is the option to make it switch to ring/vibrate/silent?
Is there even such a feature?
tnx
PS: There are no clear answers in the forums, here are the threads I searched: So do not go all "search the forums first!" on me. They talk about it, but no one gives ever a clear answer.

I thought this is just a cyanogenmod feature
sent with my mini pro
I wont go all "search the forums", I will go "this is the wrong forum section". There is no way to do what you ask. On stock rom that is.

Hi, I have a sg2 uk version with firmware ke7 (last one) with no root. I read some tips and tricks for this wonderful phone. I was trying one of these but it doesn't work. The tip is, while you're writing an SMS or writing something in the browser for example, you can use the volume up and down buttons to move the cursor if you have to correct some mistake for example, but this tip doesn't work! If I press these buttons obviously volume increase or decrease...can you try on your own galaxy to let me know what could be the problem? Maybe some app can cause this problem?
are you confusing sg2 with the lg O2x. you should try the features thread.

no it's not, seeing that you have to use fingers to press volume buttons too
We will probably get all sorts of stuff once the modding begins.

Chances are good you are missing your keystr file. The fix has been discussed dozens of times. Please search for this. I should note you will need to be rooted to fix this. If you don't want to root, you will have to go back to gingerbread.

Nope, this one I don't know.
Edit to add: though, you've piqued my curiosity... Which DSP manager are you asking about?
I only know one DSP manger.

Are you talking about this, or this? (they actually appear to be the same thing)
It's mentioned in both threads that the "DSP Manager" app doesn't work with the stock music app. Are you trying to use it with the stock music app?
I dont know which one..both seem the same..and no.. Using poweramp

Then I surely don't know. Try posting your question in one of those two threads I linked. One of the threads DOES have a post that says you need to start DSP Manager before you start Poweramp. But I don't have either, so I'm not really qualified to answer questions on either.
Ok

Hi, is there a way to permanently disable the backlight behind the menu and back button? Running CM7.
Thanks
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Didn't use CM7, but I'd be surprised if it's not similar to CM9 (which I do use). Try settings/advanced/sensors/ & untick "Enable keys backlight" (if it exists in CM7). If not maybe read/ask the CM7 discussion thread ?
Thanks, but that setting does not exist in CM7.
I've searched for the CM7 thread but couldn't find it; would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Try here or you can probably find an answer by reading the dev thread as well (I wouldn't post a question like that in the dev thread tho).

Hi guys I have recently swapped from a galaxy s to an xperia u. hardly an upgrade, but just fancied a change. anyway i liked the fact my custom rom on the s had a kill app button, where i could hold down the back button for a couple of seconds and it would kill the current app. i know you can get task managers and stuff but quite frankly that is a pain and i liked such a simple idea. is there anyway to get this on the xperia u?
found a couple of posts on the forum but nothing that really answers my question for the xperia U in particular...
