[Q] Radio Backup/ Restore - Motorola Droid RAZR

I know the radio does not get backed up with a nandroid, but is there any other way to back it up?

Since the radio cant be changed maybe you could just reflash that if you can find that file specific. I know with my other phone I could just reflash that file.

[Q] [Help] How can I get back my efs

Hi, there:
After flashed one ROM, my GSM became to out-of-work. Then, I realized that I never back up my /efs file system. :'(
Is there anybody can tell me how can I fix this issue? Thanks. Someone said, I can use KTool to restore /efs, but the question is where I can get one? :crying:
Backups are important. Also, make sure to transfer your backups to your computer!
What model is your tablet? This is probably important.
You can try to do a full flash with Odin.
I had this problem with my Galaxy S I9000 after flashing MIUI.
After i flashed a 3-part stock-firmware with Odin the folder was back and IMEI has been restored.

[Q] Backup Radio

Hello,
I just barely rooted my Atrix 4G for the first time. Before I bother to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM, I want to find out if it's possible to return to stock everything, including radio. I understand I can use nandroid to backup the stock gingerbread ROM, but what about the stock radio? I did find another thread that said it's impossible to backup the radio, but if that's true, how did the devs post radio ROMs?
If it's impossible for me to backup the radio, then where can I get the stock radio? (2.3.6, 4.5.141) I want to be sure I can get it before I go flashing custom ROMs.
Yes, I did google for "atrix stock radio" and "atrix backup radio" and didn't find an answer...
Ok, i did find a thing that says my radio version can be found in settings -> about phone -> baseband version.
Mine has a "37" in it, so I'm guessing this is my stock radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554799
When you flash any ROM the radio stays so you should have no problems in that area.
Always make a Nandroid backup before jumping to a new ROM.
When you do an upgrade, the radio stays the same, so you don't have to worry about that.
That can be verified by about phone -> baseband...

[Q] E970 cannot flash ATT-JB radio or return to stock using LGNPST

I'm trying to return to stock after having upgraded my phone to CM12. At first, I tried to flash the ATT-JB radio and the stock JB zip; the JB rom works, but my cellular modem is non-functional. Since then, I've tried flashing the original V10o as well as the V20j TOTs using LGNPST, but flashing either will lead to a freeze after the ATT boot animation.
Does anyone know why I'm unable to use the ATT-JB radio and/or why I'm unable to flash back to stock using the TOTs?
I've learned a bit more about the problem and now it's even more confusing. For a start, I think my EFS partitions may have been corrupted. BT MAC address and IMEI are now 0 / unavailable. However, I notice that I can still make calls and access data fine IF I use the W84C27MO84 radio, but not any of the others. Can anyone shed any light on my situation? Can I still recover my EFS partition contents, or am I SOL without a backup?

If your EFS Partition has indeed been corrupted and you backed up your original EFS partition before it got corrupted then you should be able to restore it via freegee. If you did not do a backup before it got corrupted then I do not think there is anything you could do.

ok so I have two i9300 s3s... with different kinds of radios, looking to restore efs

on my newer brown S3.
I was able to flash a custom stock 4.4.4... it worked well, but when I flash data from my old rom then wifi stopped working.... then I flash efs from my other phones nandroid... even though its the same phone its cearly a different efs/radio. big mistake- now the new phone can't read the radio at all- no cell communation
when I flashed the old 4.4.4 from stock I didn't get the efs... so wifi works again but the phone radio no go... I WAS able to compress backup the phone radio with EFS backup.... but NO BLODDY APP SEEMS to be able to restore that very compressed backup
I remember getting cought in this before trying to flash neatrom... I was able to pick apart something without flashing stock karnel using ktools or some kind of tool. now I can't find it
how do I flash my radio back using my compressed backups from efs backup?
hh nice! I got it with the one IMEI tool thats made restore on the play store... used a root explorer and extracted the backup, put it in the root of SD and reboot and were good....
ok... now how can I restore all my apps, mobile data counting, to the new phone without crashing the wifi on this newer galaxy s3 with the 4.4.4 software?
