My JIG cant remove yellow triangle after flash of LPQ ???

Sucks to be you.
Maybe a search will help you. If you did, you'd find two options.
Good luck finding them.
I'll give you a hint, the acronym for one is TA, and the other involves flashing something.

You need to flash the old bootloader (or use CF's app) to remove the triangle.
You won't get much help finding the old bootloader, despite the fact that all the links in the search results are currently dead. Instead, you'll get folks slamming you for asking the question.
Or you can use triangle away in the original development thread as oinkylicious hints above.
The yellow triangle gives your phone magical powers, why would you want to get rid of it?

The jig is safer. Even Chainfire himself acknowledges this and recommends it be used instead of his own app.
Personally, I'd rather have a link to the old bootloader too, but nobody's willing to provide one.

Just ask and you will get it. Below is the Old Bootloader to work with USB JIG.
Ok.. Thanks,,. Now I have the old boot loader..
What then?
Flash in ODIN ?
Flash in CWM ?
Will old bootloader make problems in LPQ rom ??
Flash it in the PDA or bootloader section of Odin (makes no difference which). No, shouldn't cause any problems with LPQ.
Flashing bootloader is very dangerous .. it will make your device mess if you fail flashing it
if u thank me then i will thank you ( 이 승 기 )

Is there any application tool that I can use it?
(2)And lastly, if I flash my sgs 2 to other firmware will it record down in the counter? Or it's only for rooted phone?
Thanks for enlightin me my bad if it's already posted before as I can't seem to find it..

1) I know what you're talking about, don't use many OCR apps on my phone, but by commenting, it will bump this thread back to the top for people to comment.
2) No, by flashing your phone to another STOCK firmware, it would not be recorded down, BUT if you flash a custom kernel THROUGH ODIN into it, it will. But easy, just buy a USB jig and you can easily reset the counter.

Why is the counter bothering you so much, are you sending the phone back to samsung?
No, there is currently no other way. However, reverting to the older bootloader (see Intratech's stock ROM thread) should allow your USB jig to reset the counter.

I just don't like people spreading nonsense, especially when the actual answer was given in post #3, by me (and then quoted and thanked by someone else in post #4. Wait, what?)
I'll just quote Intratech, maybe it'll start sinking in then.

So I updated to ICS on my I9100G and now the usb jig does not work anymore,
Anybody know how to make it work?
ICS doesn't allow the use of the jig. However if you only need it to reset the counter there is a solution for you. It will also remove the yellow triangle
The app is triangle away by chainfire, it should be available in the play store
Make sure you follow the guidelines in the app to avoid any problems!

If you don't want to flash a stock ROM, root, and flash a custom ROM again, you can use one of odin flashable files for custom kernels, not all have one but you can check (Dorimanx for example)

Hello! I just have just rooted my galaxy S2 (i777) running GB 2.3.4.
I keep searching for a working "triangleaway" patch for the phone, but many people have bricked their phones by flashing the wrong bootloader.
Has anyone successfully used triangle away patch on their i777 2.3.4? Can they send me a link?
The triangle is REALLY annoying!

Triangle Away only works with ICS and above. The only way to reset the flash counter on Gingerbread is with a USB jig. You can remove the yellow triangle boot screen by flashing a stock kernel, but it will not reset the flash counter. See the links in my signature, especially the last one.

Yes, the application performs file operations on the bootloader. And yes, the OP of the thread does not list the SGH-I777 as a supported phone. I felt the same caution as you at one point, and even posted a thread about it.
However, very respected Elite Recognized Developer Entropy512, who was one of the first developers active on this phone with his awesome kernel development, says that Triangle Away is safe for our phones. Please read through the whole thread, but in particular, read Entropy512's post #23.
Honestly, just use it. Your phone will be fine, and it is so much easier than building a jig, or even buying a jig.
You want me to take the word of one of the people who has done more for this phones development than most others???! Pfffft. Lol seriously people wouldn't be telling you to use it if it would brick your phone man. We aren't that cruel
Then why does the app say my phone is unsupported? I trust you, but, does it 100% work on shostock 3?

It works on this phone by virtue of the fact that it was written specifically for the Exynos processor bootloader, and this phone has the same Exynos processor as the GT-I9100 that it was originally written for.
The app, or more accurately the xda thread about the app by Chainfire, does not say this phone is supported because he didn't test it directly, or get someone to test it for him.
If you trust me 100%, you wouldn't have written this post.
But it isn't me you need to trust. We all trust Entropy512.

What ever gave you the idea that you would have to flash the param.lfs file. What I think you don't understand is that the warning screen with the yellow triangle is built into the phone's firmware. When Samsung made the firmware for the I777, they were just lazy and didn't update the warning screen, but just used the one from the I9100. This is entirely separate from, and not connected in any way with, the param.lfs file.
If you really don't want to use Triangle Away, just flash a stock kernel with Odin, and then without booting into the system, flash the custom kernel back onto the phone using mobile odin. For SHOstock3, that would be the Jebo kernel which you can get from the second post in the SHOstock3 thread. That yellow warning triangle boot screen will magically go away.

Thanks for trolling. You really make this thread a place where people can openly insult eachother.
Yes, there is still adb, or using a command line tool. But let me make this clear: IF YOU ARE REFERING TO THE TRIANGLE AWAY APP, IT DOES NOT RUN ON MY I777!
Here is some stuff ive been doing for another phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201341

@andronald,
I feel your fear and frustration, there are two things I need to say.
Firstly, you're lucky enough to get and continuously getting support and answer from those guys. Most of the time, when people asks, they provide answer and if she or he still doesn't believe it or follow what they said, they will walk away and couldn't care to provide another detail. In your case, more than one people assure you the app is safe and if you don't believe them, that's your choice.
Secondly, if you fear of bricking your phone, then I suggest don't do anything, just live with it. The triangle surely annoyance but if you can ignore it, you will be fine. Now think this way, a) you live with it and it can last for 2 or 3 years or b) flash it and instantly hard-brick it and trash. Make your choice.
Oh, actually you have another choice, buy a jig which costs less than a buck.
If you just want to get rid of the triangle, i did this yesterday. I did a nandroid backup of my shostock install. (Wipe data/factory reset from the shostock kernal after done with nandorid)
Then i installed the tar package (not the one click) following the odin instructions. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236727 (Your triangle should dissappear at this point)
Next install mobile odin and flash siyah recovery (the tar version) found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367800 using mobile odin. Now you will have a recovery with CWM again, and this allows you to restore your nandroid backup.
You should not have the triangle anymore and everything should be okay to go.
NOTE: Only use the CWM from the phone to flash things from now on and you wont have the triangle appear anymore.
