Before I begin, I just want to let you all know that I DID use the search feature.
I'm currently running MeanRom 2.3, HBOOT 1.4, and PRL 21083.
I updated my PRL to the current version, which if i'm not mistaken is the usual fix. Maybe i'm missing something, but my 4g just won't connect. I'm in the Miami Metropolitan area, so coverage is not the issue. Please point me in the right direction.

I don't know how to fix your problem but i can tell you that prl has nothing to do with Wimax. Are you on the latest baseband (2.17)?
Oh wow, im on 1.06.00.1216
Solution?
EDIT: I assume you meant build number, which yes it is 2.17

Sorry, my mistake. Yes you're on the latest baseband. I'm sorry, I wish I could help you, but I don't live in a 4g area so i haven't had experience troubleshooting issues with 4G

Yea our PRI version is 1.31_027. And I would like to try an update but I do know that it voids my warranty with USCC. As for GPS, I still have not figured out how to use it. Even the tech help at USCC doesnt know.

you cannot use GPS with the stock USCC ROM. the PRI will not change that. i should have stated that my question was for those running any 3.XX based custom ROM.
i do not know if the PRI will void your warranty or not and i do not know what results it will give you, or whether there is any way to revert to the previous PRI. that is why I have not attached it yet
How do I change the PRL version on the Thunderbolt? I have version 13004 and my wife phone has version 15008, yet I have a much better signal than her. When the phones are next to each other I have 3-4 bars, while hers has 0-1. I remember reading *228 ruins the sim card, but correct me if I wrong. So is there any way to do this? FYI, I rooted both phones with the same files, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the PRL. Thanks in advance.

So is the PRL in the radio of the downgrade-ruu I used to root the phones, or is it just the way the phone comes out the box and connect to the nearest tower? I ask because I already returned her first phone do to the same kind of signal issues. So is it something going on during the root process and downgrade of the firmware?
Hey guys, I feel like a big ole newb BUT whats the difference in the radios section between the CDMA listing and the LTE listing for the radios md5's?

Diff between CDMA and LTE radios:
CDMA for voice and LTE for data.
Flash both if you want to update both.
Diff between CDMA and LTE radio md5's:
A lot of numbers and letters
Your device has 6 radios inside it. 2 cdma and one LTE. The cdma radio serves the radio on the snapdragon. The LTE serves the one on the mdm9600.
Honestly, I think its funny that they are being listed that way.
Being that 3G and LTE are on the same radio, and voice is on another

True.... but what else could you call them? The MSM8655 and MDM9600? I mean, the bootloader at least calls the one the MDM9K.... like anyone would just know what that is if they didn't know the chip models.

Me too, but do you think you get some stupid questions now? I can't imagine how bad it would get if chip numbers became the norm.
another (possibly) stupid question for you specifically, adrynalyne.
the radio downloads you always post in your radio thread (over at team bamf) have both radios rolled into one package, correct? you never link them as two separate downloads, so i assume this is the case.

It doesn't take Adrynalyne to answer that. Yes, his radio posts include both radios as they appear in a given RUU.
Can someone explain the current situation with 4G not working after unlocking the boot-loader I believe and will that be fixed anytime soon ?
Don't quote my on this, im NOT at all a dev. But i believe its something to do with the RSA Keys getting screwed up when unlocking bootloader, and i know that there are a few devs working on a fix and we generally don't push them for an ETA, they are working on it in their spare time and we are more than thankful they're working on stuff for our photons. Again im not a dev so don't quote me on the RSA Keys, just something i read a while back and *believe* is the issue, if im wrong feel free to correct me and correctly answer the OP's question. If your wanting to have a rom and still have 4g, theres a longer process you can go through to maintain 4g and still have a rom, but is a long process from what ive heard. Ill post link to it below if your interested.
Maintain 4g with Alien(or any rom)

I wouldnt ask for an ETA but the devs are great, it'll be out before you know it!
If I understand correctly, 4G is just Sprint's CDMA WIMax? I'm getting a Photon for use on my carriers GSM network and they don't have LTE or anything (just HSDPA/HSUPA I think).
So losing "4G" when unlocking wouldn't affect me correct?

I've been searching for the T-Mo Radio from the latest 6.10.531.9 T-Mo RUU but was unable to find it. So I created a flashable zip from the OTA update by Garmig (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2375223 credit to him for pulling the OTA).
T-Mobile Radio 4T.28.3218.04_10.33E.1718.01L - From RUU 6.10.531.9 (Latest)
T-Mobile Radio 4T.27.3218.14_10.33C.1718.01L - From RUU 5.14.531.1 (I believe)
You can easily flash the above radios via recovery.
If anyone needs another radio, let me know and I'll try to dig it out and create a flashable zip.

Why are these 4T instead of the 4A of the first several radios? Want to flash, but finding info on T-Mo radios is proving frustrating.

Not exactly sure, I remember reading something about the designations a while ago but can't recall.
The radios were pulled from the firmware zip of the OTA so they are Tmobile's if that's your concern...
Thanks for this. Saved me some time. I was actually waiting for the OTA to download so I could pull the radio when I found this thread.
Any noticeable changes?

To be honest the only thing that I noticed is a the change in the build number. Didn't have any issues with the previous version though so nothing to complain about here either. Works great.

I think the main difference is that T-Mo released this update to enable Wi-fi calling which is presumably reflected in the radio as well as the framework. Other changes if any, are unknown...
It just sucks that wi-fi calling works on the stock rom only...

Yeah it would be nice if they gave us a way to install it on GPe devices but oh well.

No it doesn't, works great on ViperOne 7.
I flashed 6.09.401.5 firmware, which has a 4T.29 radio, a while ago. Just flashed the one posted (4T.28) and i'll see how it goes. The 4T.29 radio I had is working fine, LTE in most places, and speeds are fine.
And wifi calling works great, I don't think it has anything to do with the radio.
I have the same. 4t.29 radio running viperone 7. Wifi calling works flawlessly. Cell network speeds are terrific.

Can this radio be flashed on a HTC one mini or will it brick the phone?

This is not for the HTC One Mini. If it even flashes, it will break something. It may not brick the phone, but it may render the radio useless. The phone uses a different chipset. Do not try it.

Possibly, but I'm not sure why you would want a T-Mobile US radio version.

Thanks for clearing that up.
Thank you SO MUCH!!
I finally got 4G LTE out in the country where I live but at best, it was only 4mbps. I knew I had to live with that and have stuck with Energy's ROM from several years ago so didn't know the M7 could do better. In the city it is always 20mbps or faster! So I decided to check XDA to see if there were any updates to the M7. Boy have I been missing out! I saw this and decided to flash the new radio and guess what? Now I'm consistently getting 25mbps and up in the country!!! That is 5 times faster than my slow home wireless internet ISP!
Thank you so much for posting this!!!
I just used the T-Mobile Lollipop RUU, the radio included is 4T.35.3218.16.

I dunno how to extract it/I'm afraid that if I did I might mess something up and break someone's phone. I do recall seeing a howto thread....
