Hello people, I have a strange problem, I have less than two months with my SE Xperia Ray, and always loaded with original charger , but about two weeks ago or something but the phone whenever it reaches 28% of battery status and jumps to 0% and off. the battery is completely discharged. Sometimes I'd see battery calibrator used but still the same, any suggestions you can give me if they had a case like this? thank you very much
Do calibration! Let your battery became absolute empty and phone will turning off automatically. Then connect the charger (!just charger, do not turn on the phone!). When batery turns full disconnect the charger, eject the battery for 5 minutes, then take it back and connect the charger again. Then it became full enter recovery => advanced => Wipe Battery Stats, then restart your phone and when your home screen appers disconnect the charger. Let your battery became empty to the end (!do not restart or turn off during this period!) then charge as always

This is my first post, hope you can understand what happens to my phone (SE X10 mini pro - U20i).
When I connect it to my wall charger, it starts charging normally, no problem. If I charge it overnight, what it is supposed to happen is that it charges to 100%, then it stops automatically the charging process, "waits" untill the battery drops a given percentage, not sure how much, and then charges again, and repeats this process until I disconect the phone. This is the normal process, and usually does this.
But some times, what it does is charging to 100%, stops charging and it remains in the 100%!!! Never drops, and it discharges the battery much more rapidly!! I have System Pannel, and when this happens I see that the processor is allways in the 10%, which is not usual in standby... and as the battery is discharging, the % doenst change, still shows 100%, when it is maybe in the 3800 mV. When I disconnect my phone, the % starts decreasing rapidly, as if it was trying to "compensate", ah in maybe 30/60 minutes reaches 50%... This is not normal, and I think it is some process that stops associating the % of the battery with the voltage.
Ever heard of something like this...? My phone is temporarily rooted with Z4mod, with stock firmware. 2.1
try this:
install xrecovery
make sure your battery is at 100% (let it charge over night)
go into xrecovery (press back while the SE logo appears while booting)
go to "advanced options"
delete battery stats
and drain your battery till your device turns off, doesnt matter how
No go. Doesn't solve it... Going to try to charge it tonight with the background data option turned on. Have it turned off to save battery. Probably won't solve it, but it doesn't hurt to try.
This weekend I've charged it WHILE turned off, during the night. Got it off the charger, symbol in screen appeared with full charge, turned it on, it immediatly shown 18% battery left... This is really weird. Can it have anything to do with not using the original charger? I'm using the original as a travel charger, in my bag, in case I need it at work, and at home I use a Nokia charger, with an output of 890 mA, and with the adapter to microUSB (which actually gets very hot). Do you think it can have anything to do with this issue?
Turn off data traffic and "sync now", you will save battery.
With data traffic and sync on, my phone last just one day ( about 24h ).
With it off, It last about 2 ~ 3 days.
Result: I just turn it on, when is needed.
try turning off data traffic and as ur phone is rooted use SetCpu and auto killer memory optimiser....nd never over charge ur phone....charge it only when the battery is <10% and charge it until it gets completely charged....nd as soon it gets charged disconnect it.....nd set the SetCpu to ondemand and auto killer to optimum...see if that works for u..
lso get ur battery checkd if thats ok...
Hi,
The past few days my X10 is not charging very well.. It turns to 100% and if I look to it the next morning it is about 15%. And now it doesn't charge to 100%. It's very annoying now.
What can I do?
Bro! i think its a battery problem - if your battery level is let say 15% (or in status red) try this, take out the battery plug your x10 to the charger (while battery is taken out) and then while you have your x10 plugged in to the charger press and hold the power/sleep button youll feel it vibrate after the vibration put the battery back in, then your phone will boot up (if it did not boot up just turn it on your self) if your battery is faulty you should see the battery in 75-90% if this is the case you need to replace your battery it happend to me 2 weeks ago im experiencing reboots while using the phone with charger but then i noticed the battery life is so short like literaly if im at 100 then after playing 1 single game (angrybirds) for10mins on it it'll drop immediately to 50.
I will try to explain my problem clearly and in a concise manner.
My battery started giving problem since a few days back. That time I had ICS in my phone.
My phone having enough battery gets shutdown in the middle of nowhere.
If i turn it on,it shows battery to be 0 or 1%.Then i used to set it on charging, and it used to work normally and battery starts getting charged from 1%.
On the other hand,if instead of turning up the phone and charging again, when i used to plug the charger in without turning on phone, my phone shows the correct battery percentage. And it starts charging normally.
To summarise-
My phone having enough battery gets shutdown in the middle of nowhere. If my phone gets off on 70% automatically, and if i plug the charger keeping the mobile off,it starts charging from 70%.But if I turn on the mobile and plug the charger,it starts charging from 0%
So this thing worked for a few days. After that my phone started turning off quite frequently. And I had to plug the charger everytime it turns off so as to turn it on again.
A couple of days back,I flashed cyanogenmod JB and siyah kernel.Since then it has been worse.
Now phone doesnt even last a minute even after full charging. It just shuts down as soon as I turn it on.I tried clearing battery stats.
I am unable to use my phone, its next to a dead phone. Please help !
What should I do to save my phone?
maybe its time to replace battery...

Are you sure battery needs to be replaced?
One more thing, after flashing JB, the battery percentage doesnt fluctuate as before.
It gets off at say 70%, and then it doesnt matter if i charge it keeping phone on or off,the charging starts at 70%.
Its just that the phone gets off for no reason as soon as it is turned on.
There is an app on market called My Battery Status, you can check your battery health with it.

Replace the battery
Hi guys, i consider myself an intermediate around the android OS and i have tried most solutions that came to my head with no results.
My problem is the following:
My xperia ray is running stock rom ICS and is rooted. That's it
One day my battery suddenly drained to 0% and phone shut off.
Since then, i cannot charge it. Whenever i plugged it, the led blinks red /sometimes keep blinking/something always red/sometimes the phone boots after 10 seconds from entering the main page it will reboot.
I turned on my phone, but the phone is not charging
Well when it's plugged in, the lockscreen says charging. The battery icon has the flash sign on it. It is recognized by my Laptop. But the battery status is discharging and i monitored the voltage, it was decreasing.
Phone connected to the computer and files to it.
I connect the phone to a charger for charging sign on the lock screen comes and goes charging and discharging the battery light blinks phone.
Most of the time I connect a phone off the charger is charging the phone

Hello,
The battery on my Z2, after almost 4 years, wasn't able to hold on, so I have to replace it. I bought a new one and successfully replaced it. Now the battery life is great again, but unfortunately I run into a annoying problem. I fully charge the phone, and after I unplug, no matter if I use it or not, in matter of 2-3 hours the battery goes down to 1% and it stays at 1% the whole day with normal usage. So battery life is how it should be, but the percentage that it shows is not correct. I tried "calibrating" the battery (fully discharging and charging) but that didn't work so I tried repairing with Sony PC companion. That says that is reinstalling the system, so now the phone is like new, like factory reset, but still the problem is here. Now it goes maybe from 100% to 70% in 3 hours and then stays at 70% for 4-5 hours and again starts rapidly decreasing till it reaches 1% and stays at 1% for a while till eventually it shuts down. Any suggestions how I might solve this problem? Thanks in advance!
