This is an excellent product - I've put it on the phone and then I've put a case over the top of it.
The reason I've done this is because I've noticed that any dust that gets between the phone and the cover/case acts like sand paper and scratches the surface - this plastic stuff is like a screen protector that goes over most of the phone.
It covers the back and the sides and around the keypad and around the front camera and the speaker etc.
There is also a piece that goes over the screen but I took this off because the current screen protector I have on is clearer to see through in the sun.
Its very easy to apply and goes on nicely without any ugly parts or mis-alignments.
Recommended to help keep your phone in good condition if you ever want to re-sell it.
Seems perfect, but my phone is scratched all over the place already . Not going to sell it anyway, but it looks bad. Backside is like this:
Mine oo :/
Im buying a white panel for it and putting that screen guard thing all over xo

You can also apply a skin onto the phone like the Zagg skins so you can protect from further scratches and also earlier scratches will be hidden..

Was is it easy for you to put up the invisible shield?? I had very difficulty in applying those so applied a skin instead..

I want to keep the same colour from the back. I am considering just buying a replacement back cover, quite expensive at €15, but the shields are not that cheap either.

I'm planing the same thing.. I don't trust the shields and stuff..
Will dust get (inside) under the screen easily?
I used in last 3 mobiles and invisible shield it´s great!!!!!
I am also using this shield for my white Neo V. It accumulates dust on some of the corners, rest it looks great and need a good amount of hard work to apply..
Had a Milestone once, putting the invisible shield on it was a pain, quite expensive too.. Sinse then I decided to use a simple cover, or just nothing since I switch phones about every year, and d damages shield is no good too.
The ebay link is not working :/
I have this on my Neo for the past 6 months. It attracts lot of dust if not properly applied I am in the process of removing it one bye one. I think only the back cover needs one. The rest will lose its finish once this is applied.
thanks!!
pretty hard to apply correctly
This needs a lot of patience to apply. I had one for about 5 months. The corners started accumulating dust and slowly started peeling off the edges. I had no choice but to remove and switch over to a rubber case.
Is this avaliable in Nepal as well... I too want to have this cover on my Neo??
I've found it on ebay.com for $9
This is also non-marking?
Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries.
So true...

I am looking to find the most high quality option when it comes to screen protectors for the Ultra.
I have tried the Muvit protector - but it isn't the best quality I've seen - and it got a little scratch in the application process.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the Stealth Extreme R from Armorz without having first taken off the shatter proof film?
Wondering how it fits on the device, how it affects the weight - and generally how high quality the protector actually is and if it is worth the extra $50.
I am not interested in trying to remove the shatter proof film after reading people's experiences.
Not sure if it'll help you, but there are quite a number of "reviews" on it on Youtube.

I have the Armorz Stealth Extreme R tempered glass protector. Its actually pretty good quality. If you have never put on a glass screen protector before, it might be a little tricky. I put mine on without water, and paid the price when trying to reposition it. the bottom corner is lifted from when i tried to pry it up and move it. I did apply a back glass using the water method, and it took longer to get the bubbles completely out, but came out pretty clean.
I did not remove the anti shatter film on either side, and have not seen any loss in touch sensitivity.
one thing i did notice is that, it added a little bit of weight, but also gave the phone better rigidity when used without the case. some people have mentioned the phone twisting in their pocket, and i have yet to experience any twisting whats so ever.
not sure if the price has gone up, but i ordered mine for 39$ on amazon. hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the insight!
So why do you think doing it dry caused a problem? Is the adhesive very strong? I figured it would just pull right off.
Do you have any bubbles or blemishes on the front?

it's a silicone based adhesive. peels off fairly easy but keeps a strong bond. when I pryed the corner up, I pushed part of the adhesive so it clumped up and now won't lay flat. if you spray it down with water, you'll be able to slide it into place with out having to lift.
it looks like a large are in the picture but it really isn't noticeable. the backside went on with water without any issues. sucks that the back glass cost me 13$ and the front cost me 3 times that much only to have that messed up corner. you live and you learn. Lol

... Is that crap made out of Gorilla glass? Good god, that's a screen protector. None of this "Clear film" BS where if there's an Airbubble you just ruined a purchase, oh no, this is quite literally just another screen slapped on top.
What does it do to the thickness of the thing? My concern mainly is with cases like Sony's Battery case that kind of only work with just exactly how thick it is.
Not sure if it's really gorilla glass but no scratches so far from things that would scratch plastic protectors. It is pretty thin I can't say for the case but its under 1mm thick.
Does anyone know this?

Not sure if it's been discussed here before but I just applied the most amazing screen protector I've ever use on any phone. It's called ILLumiShield and they sell it on Amazon and eBay for a reasonable price and is absolutely fantastic it's so easy to put on bubble free, feels like glass even over the the crap protector Sony puts on. I highly recommended and no I don't work for them hehe

I sometimes get unwanted behavior... Like two fingers tap even if I use only one... Or tap without reaction... Or tap evean I did not do it, self-tap... It happens once a day, maybe two, but it is very annoing... Without scr.prot. it works perfect. I thing I would follow by your adwice, only need your opinion about that not-funny behaviors. Thx

I found this issue to be greatly improved with the iLLumiShield screen protector. But it was definitely more of an issue with the cheaper screen protectors. You also might want to go to settings/sounds and uncheck vibrate on touch. I feel like this improve my touch sensitivity.

Turned off vibrate on touch and it seems a bit more more responsive in some areas, even though it probably is placebo. I have an iShieldz screen protector (similar to Zagg) and noticed that it wouldn't respond when I tap the screen sometimes. Though, I think that's the way I tap the screen, edge of finger vs finger.

Thanks for the tip. Just bought one. Been wanting a protection like that for my phone ever since removing the factory protector. The phone is a fingerprint magnet without the ASF. However found it for $16 and free shipping to Sweden (only front protection though, don't need it for the back).

I applied Glass-M screen protectors on both the front and back of my phone yesterday, and have been very happy with it so far. It's added a little weight, but it feels sturdier and more premium than before, and looks better than the plastic screen protector I had previously. The touch is also a lot smoother than the plastic one, which was a bit rubbery. I installed mine on top of the ASF, both front and back, since I didn't want the "harrowing" experience of removing it. I feel like it's protected well enough to do without a case, though I may get a slim one to cover the edges of the phone as well. Highly recommended. :good:

Received my GlassM this week, applied it yesterday. For whatever the reason, there is now, after 12 hours of use, a 10cm large, deep scratch (no, it's not dust, polished few times). Over the first night, the screen got the crack though. This morning I've noticed the deep scratch.
Yesterday evening, just sliding over my wooden table, impressed of its smooth, I notived two smaller light scratches. I thought so, "ok thats not really your truth, GlassM", but now it's really enough.
GlassM's support does not reply to my support request unfortunately.
Can someone recommend other Glass-protectors for my beloved ZU?
Greetings,
slay
I ended up returning the first V10 I had because the steel sides were not aligned correctly, leaving a gap for dust and such to get into the back of the phone. The second unit I got is much better, but still has a slight issue where a small part of the bottom of the right rail is not secured to the side of the phone like it should be. Does anyone know if this can be fixed easily? It obviously won't affect the phone's overall performance, but it's irritating me. Also, as a side note, it would have been nice if LG would had used steel for the ring around the lens, instead of painted aluminum.
Yeah the black ring around my camera lens got scuffed after putting down for the first time on table i was pi##ed its so brittle “ im gonna buy some matt black spray paint and clear coat and fix it plus my side hars are showing signs of wear “ so ill buy some new ones when available and paint and clear coat them aswell “ considering its miltary tested it not very tuff more like cub scout tested

It just sucks because I've stuck with LG through the G2, G4, and now the V10. I really love the way they do things with their handsets, but quality control always seems to let me down. Is there a way to remove the aluminum ring from the phone before repainting it? Also, how would one seal it after painting it, so that it is more scratch resistant? Mine has not been damaged yet, but I'm considering a case to help protect it. I don't want to put a case on it because I think they back feels super good in the hand. They could also use better material on the flash and focus laser covers. They scratch extremely easily. Yeah i hear what your saying but i understand if they make a good device plus indestructible we wouldnt upgrade every year lol phone manufacturers know us consumers like to have nice clean unmarked shiney devices so they sometimes neglect the strength of materials so we get the urge after a few niks and dents to buy the latest shiney new film rapped product they release but in answering your question after spraying my scratched black ring around the camera i will use a product called clear coat which will give some added invisible protection as i too dont want to use a case the phone is large as it is “ no way am i sticking a case on it “ hopefully there will be after market side rails in diffrent colours and materials to customize our devices “ id happily swap the metal rails for the same black rubber on the top and botton of the phone it would also make the phone lighter and durable “ and im not sure if the camera ring will detach from the lense hopefull a more indept tear down video will answer that in the future

I like the Tudia Omnix case it is has 2 parts to the case, a built in screen protector and the rubber case. I am able to keep the pre installed screen protector that came with my phone on and still use this case. It's not bulky either. If I'm going to work or gym I'll put on the tudia case, it keeps my phone clean & safe, if I want to show off my phone I'll put on the Karbon or ebony wood. It's actually not that inconvenient to switch cases and my phone stays cleaner this way, less germs the better.
To install your phone on this case: take my advice it's kind confusing.
Lay the screen protector screen down, (the bottom of the screen protector has some kind of plastic hooks that attach the screen protector to the rubber protective case) slide your phone screen down in the bottom part & gently let the top of your phone fall into the screen protector, the left side will fall in but you'll have you to snap it in on the right. (the phone snaps in very lightly its easy to snap in or out)
NOW to put the rubber on the phone put the Top on first then kinda lift and pull the bottom ON
To take it off lift the lift off the bottom of the case by the headphone jack side, peel the other bottom side first then pull off, it's too hard to take the case off from the top.
Make sure not to make the mistake of putting the phone into the screen protector backwards I did that and scuffed the silver antenna line on my phone.
Do you have any images of the case actually on your phone? Posting images of whats on Amazon isn't particularly useful!

Do you get any rainbow effect on the screen when pressing on the screen protector? if you don't see try shining a light onto the phone.
I bought this same case for my OP5, as the Tudia case for my OP3 was the best. This case is beautiful and feels great in my hand, but I went back to my OtterBox because 1.) it was impossible to pull down anywhere on the status bar with my Tudia case, and 2.) I would get random pops when tapping the screen. I'm quite disappointed, because this is a beautiful and natural-feeling case, and it fits with my Orzly tempered-glass protector.

Im not sure I only use the case if I don't feel like being carful with my phone. Like I live in Las Vegas and if I go to the strip it's pretty wild your drinking, weeds legal, it's packed, your tipsy and everything else is going on. When I decide to put the tudia case on, I'm more trying to keep the phone safe. The case is nice but I wouldn't like this case on while I'm home or even running casual errands, I don't like the way the screen protector feels compared to the one that came pre installed. I bet it has the rainbow effect but i haven't tried it in the day Time yet though, I probably does cause the screen protector is thin plastic.

Just noticed that my 2 months old P30 screen has a lot of scratches, some of which are pretty bad. Considering that my 2+ years old Nexus 5X didn't have a single scratch on it when I compared it earlier tonight, I'm highly disappointed at how fragile the P30 screen is. I'll have to look at a screen protector to limit the damage.
So do yourself a favor, even if like me you never used screen protectors with your previous phones, it's pretty much essential with this phone. I'm a bit pissed off right now that such an expensive phone is already quite visibly damaged so early despite me being rather careful with how I carry my phones.
That's why there is a screen protector on the P30 out of the box. Atleast for the one i got aswell as a friends one.
The cheapo screen protector that is pre-installed in the box scratches really easy and fast... But it's a screen protector
You sure the screen is scratched and not the pre-installed protector which you might not notice yet?

i took mine off, keep it pocket with keys coins ect. not a scratch on it lol. i cant stand screen protectors, first thing i do on any phone is take it off
u are right though, i knew at least of few people who mistakenly thought their screen was cracked for a long time not knowing it was their screen protector lol. one woman at work went to upgrade after it was "cracked" for a year, and the person in cell store took the protector off and she was stunned lol
No, it was definitely the screen - I removed the original screen protector as these are more intended for shipping protection than real day-to-day usage protection.
I bought a TPU screen protector from Amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07N2R48T3/ ), and installed it a few days ago. In addition to protecting the screen, and it's also nearly invisible, I'd say it hid the fast majority of the visible scratches. There's just an area of the phone that has wider damage that still be seen when under the correct angle/lighting, the other scratches are no longer visible under the TPU protector.
This being the first time I ever used a screen protector, I'd say my installation isn't perfect (there are 3 or 4 small bubbles that won't go away, but they are all on the outside, and only one is over a visible part of the screen). But the final result looks much better than before, so I'd say that even on an already damaged screen, these TPU protectors are a good way to hide the damage.
Think I also figured out how it got damaged - this new jacket has a small metal press button at the top of the inner pocket. It's roundish and shouldn't normally damage a decently protected screen (like my former Nexus 5X), but the P30 fragile screen really didn't like it...
Do yourself a favour and get a case that covers the whole phone. I've had my p30 lite for a few days and the back is already shattered! Can't believe it!!!

I find these too bulky, they ruin the look and feel, and they often interfere with the use of gesture-based navigation. I prefer a low-level bumper like posted in this thread (that Aliexpress one is working great for me so far) combined with a discrete TPU screen protector.
The screen protector came with a bumper case BTW, which they recommend using for the couple of days following the installation of the screen protector. I will return to my previous bumper case afterward, but I'd say if someone doesn't already have one, the one included with the screen protector is good enough (unless you drop your phones a lot). It's just not as discrete looking as the Aliexpress one.
Anyone has a yellowish tint on bottom of the screen? It's noticeable on white background.
Why are you asking this everywhere, in every thread?
why the f*** you ever remove original protector, they are perfectly applied and with no scratches after many months of use ?!

This is not a fault of the P30 - the side-effect of more shatter-proof glass is that it is slightly softer and more prone to scratches. This is well-known with other devices too (remember when Galaxy Note owners were moaning about this?)
With the P30 and it's completely flat display there is no excuse for not using a glass screen protector if you want to avoid scratches. Personally I thought the factory screen protector was fine, and it lasted me a good month before I even bothered installing the glass screen protector I bought on day one.

My wife laughs at me but I never took off the plastic cover that came with the phone -- the one you're supposed to peel off when you first open the box with your brand new phone. It's still on there like 8 months later and has only developed one small bubble at the top left. I love knowing I have a perfectly pristine screen just under that plastic. The fingerprint scanner works fine as well.
I dont see why it isnt possible for someone to make a screen protector that is split in two that fits on each side of the screen. This would eliminate the issues with being having to be gentle with the screen, as only the fold would be at risk of scratching and denting.
I now see that this would probably be pretty distracting seeing those edges of the protectors in the center of the screen. Even the fold is visible sometimes. So yea, carry on

Its not just that, the plastic film on the foldable led screen is not designed for an adhesive, and the hinge is not designed for a bigger gap that the additional few mm of the glass would create. Samsung would encourage people to use one if the design allowed it in the first place
I used one available on ebay. It's a soft flexible plastic material. Kinda self healing. Had it on for 2 months and removed it just fine with no damage to the actual screen at all. Replaced it with a new one and the original screen is still perfect underneath. I'm not afraid to use it without washing my hands first now. Lol

I ended up getting this screen protector and it's awesome! I feel so much more secure with the phone now. You can't even tell its on. Definitely try it.

Is your screen protector scratch resistant?
In this video the healing shield screen protector seems nice. Made in Korea.

The rest are made in China which may not be good.

That video doesn't show any results for me. But yes it is self healing, has a bit of a rubberized texture, like a zagg but thinner. I've only tried scratching it with my fingernail so not too great of a test. But overall you can't even tell it's on there so I'm happy with it. My device feels more secure.
+1 for the ebay one! Got full device and loving it so far!
