Try a factory reset. That could fix the random reboot issues. Also was your phone rooted, or on anything besides for the stock rom before upgrading?

i need oficial ics 4.0.4 for my sgs2 for uk

i installed ics 4.0.4 on my device s2 and when im doing anything messages come to me unfortunatly the process android has stopped .process acore has stopped or unfortunatly logs provider has stopped i think the frimaware is crap and need another one to install can i have help pls
Were you coming to 4.0.4 from gingerbread? If you are, then I suggest a factory data reset. That should fix the problem. A factory reset is always recommended when upgrading from Gingerbread to ICS to avoid the kinda problems you have mentioned above.
On the other hand, if you aren't coming from Gingerbread and wanna try the firmware from a different country, go to sammobile.com and download the firmware of your choice and flash via Odin.

[q] reinstall firmware

I am having SAMSUNG GALAXY S ADVANCE GT- I9070.
I have upgraded my OS to Jelly Bean 4.1.2, but I am encountering many problems like freezing of screen, high RAM usage, games not running as expected, etc.
I want to get this problem rectified by re-installing the firmware, but there is no option in SAMSUNG KIES showing Re- Install the firmware...
What should I do?? Is there any other way to get this problem rectified??
My phone is under warranty.

you can reflash your original firmware using odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985398

I9300 keeps freezing and restarting.

Hey guys I bought a s3 i9300 1 month ago used. When I got it, it was rooted and had a custom recovery. After a few hours it started freezing then restarting. I then flashed android revolution HD 32.0 based on 4.2.2 leak and it hasn't rebooted or froze once to date. My problem is whenever I install any custom ROM Samsung based or stock Google based it keeps on rebooting and freezing except android revolution HD. Why does it do that? I want to install liquid smooth for better memory management but I can't because of this! I have cwm 6.0.xx BTW. (Can't remember the exact version ) I'm not new to flashing and rooting but any help will be appreciated.

did you try to install an actual official firmware? not "stock based" you may want to try flashing a firmware from sammobile using odin. this will let you know if the issue is hardware related. if you are running anything custom IE rom, recovery or kernel. that could be the cause. best way to find out is to get your phone back to stock. if the probems persist than probably you have a hardware problem. read the stickies for instrucions on how to return to stock. good luck

if its 4.1.2 stock firmware than it doesn't need factory reset, but i have seen some users having a boot loop while doing so and to remove the boot loop issue they have to factory reset and wipe cache partition. it would be better if u backup everything before you do this(recommended)..
Backup evrythng using titanium backup or a similar app and restore the data after flashing the 4.3 rom..

Kies will have the 4.3 update when it is released for your phone .

The firmware hasn't been released yet for all carriers in all regions.
You could download it and flash it, thought.

Normally upgrade to a higher version should retain user data, apps & contacts. few weeks before i upgraded from 4.1.2 to 4.3 without loosing anything. But always backup the required data is suggested.

One word of advice: the i9300 4.3 update is VERY laggy and full of battery drain bugs. I would remain on 4.1.2 if I were you until Samsung releases a refreshed S3 update.
This is why the update may not be available through Kies, they pulled it as soon as UK users started complaining.

Samsung Galaxy S2 CyanogenMod 11

Hey guys, this is my first time ever trying something like this, and I already figured most of it out, but I have a little issue, I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 and I want to update the android version to atleast 4.1.2 Jelly Bean but I can't seem to get it working, every time I install the new update through Odin it would be stuck in a boot loop(when i download the old version 4.0.3 it works straight away), but I decided to try Cyanogenmod 11, I can't get that working aswell, I've tried wiping data, cache, dalvik cache. First I installed the Cyanogenmod ROM and then Google Apps, I get stuck on the cyanogen boot(I've waited for like 30 minutes, nothing).. Please, help.
