Does anyone know if there are any multiplayer WVGA games that can be played across phones? A few of my friends and I have Touch Pro 2's, and I know there are some multiplayer turn-based games that can be played locally on one phone, but what about Phone v. Phone???

I am working on a game just like this...tho it will be some time before i have a working beta
Asphalt4? Snails? Call of Duty? You can play vs another phone with these games (bluetooth or wifi).
Battleship, checkers, connect 4 and a couple others I play using BTpan on my tp2. There vga but still work on the larger screen.
Heres an older site with info:

What would you guys say are the best games available for the Nook?
I too am looking for a consolidated list of the best games.
Specifically, let's try and make this thread a list of the games that are stable on the NC, and also the specific versions of said games.
Let's post the method to legally acquire these games and what is needed to get the best version running on the NC, and/or the tricks necessary to have the best experience.
Of course Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons.
Also emulators + games (Snes,Genesis,etc)
All work great no tweaking..
Pocket Legends owns me right now
They say its WoW in your pocket, works great on NC
You can download for free on the pocketlegends.com android forum
sent from my NookColor
I've been playing Mini Squadrons and Grave Defense.
Bowquest
Doodle Jump
Gun Bros Beta
Hungry Shark
Meteor Blitz
Reckless Racing
Squibble
Zenonia
Zombie Defense
...all working great for me.
One thing to note: I have squareparts added.
My list(I only add games that work great):
4 Player reactor
Angry Birds
Astro
Basketball Shot
Bonsai Blast
Bow Man
Buka HD
Can Knockdown
Crazy God
Crush the Castle
Dungeon Hunter
eagle Nest
Fast and Furious: Adrenalin 3D
FireFox
GuitarHero 5
Gun Bros
Heavy Gunner
Homerun Battle 3D
Krazy Kart Racing
MiniGore (THE FUNEST GAME OF ALLL TIME)
NinJump
My Paper Plane
Penguin Golf
PSX4Droid
Rope Cut
Speed Forge 3D
Tank Hero
Totem HD
Transformers G1
PLants VS Zombies
These all look great. It seems like games that need to be rendered in real time(aka 3D games) will perform the best. The second will be games that use vectors, such as angry birds.
games
Pocket legends
angry birds season
zeonia
crazy snowboarder
For the Gameloft games, which method are people using to download?
On their website, you have to select a phone model and then enter a phone number.
Is there a best device model to choose? I was thinking of selecting the Galaxy Tab, and then sending the download link to my Droid. Then I was thinking, would it be better to select the Droid itself?
I was thinking it would be best to select a device that has the same or similar resolution as the NC, but... the Galaxy Tab has a better GPU, a PowerVR SGX540, compared to the NC's GPU (same as the Moto Droid and other TI OMAP devices: PowerVR SGX530)... so, not really sure. Trial and error usually doesn't lead to too many problems, but I've never bought any Gameloft games, no idea how it works in terms of getting different app versions, specifically for activiation or anything (if there is any activation).
edit:
And for games that don't show up in the market, what's a good legal method of getting these games? Just download on another Android device and load that apk onto the NC?
On my NC, I have the latest Market version found in another thread, but there are still a ton of apps that are not showing up when I perform a search. It's not an issue of only paid apps not showing up, even Firefox is absent on my NC's market.
Same as other people, but poolbreak pro is also good.
Robo Defense works, but requires Square Parts.
Disco, where'd you find Plants vs Zombies?

It's actually SPARE parts.
Here's instructions on what to do with it:

Ok, yea I'm using that. I thought it was something else because another person said about square parts earlier.
I haven't played Pocket Legends yet but I plan on changing that in the next few minutes!
All of the rest have worked fine for me. I spend most of my time playing with Nesdroid, Dungeon Hunter, and Angry Birds.
Also, Game Dev Story works great.

Would also love to know the answer to this question. I have both hero of sparta and dungeon hunter for my og droid but when i try and load them it says something to the effect of incompatible device.
If u could get spiderman total mayhem fro gameloft to DL the extra data I would say that is hands down the best playing/looking mobile game ever. I love it on my droid

So I just checked out Pocket Legends while I was on my lunch break. Thankfully I pretty much get to make my own schedule because my usual one hour break turned into about a two and half hour one. Thank you, thank you, thank you bigted41 for the suggestion!
Also, if you're in the market for a good, old school 8-bit RPG - Gurk runs pretty well.
Know any game like this?
Good graphics and good game generally ?
You should download the Tegra Zone from the market. It will tell you all the games optimized for our Tegra 2 device.
Yes i already got it .. nothing there.
Only the Fruit Ninja THD
It is Reckless Racing but unable to get it runs on Atrix.
There are a few tegra 2 racing games coming for the Atrix 4G. Though I can recommend a few:
- Reckless Racing: best graphics
- Raging Thunder 2: best fun and good graphics
- Jet Car Stunts: good graphics and good fun, but much more a platform game than a racing game (if you like stunts)
I have all 3 running perfectly on my Atrix.
Asphalt 6 HD is the best but I dont see it on the market anymore. I have it and it runs great on the atrix. Makes all the other games look like crap.
I thought I saw Asphalt 6 on Applanet, but I could be wrong. I have Asphalt 5 HD and its fantastic.
Need For Speed: Shift
sadly that is still the best racing game for android
Bang Bang Racing(like Reckless Racing but better) is coming April tegra zone says there just 1 1/2 more days of april so it should be released pretty soon as well as T-Racer HD and Galaxy on Fire also Tegra games set to be released in April. Hope they deliver
Asphalt 6 HD
The tegra zone games look cool, but the dates seem iffy. I don't think that the games will be out by the end of today, so lets see what tegra zone does.

+1 been waiting for April to end ^_^ they look nice! Hopefully when PSP phone comes out down the line they'll be a way to rip it to other phones. I have used phat PSP (hacked), open remote play, and vnc to play ghost recon with wii control and it was ehh but once all those steps aren't involved it'll be nice.

Tegra Zone does show some good games, but it is beginning of May, they say in Tegra Zone these games are due by the end of April, nothing in sight yet.
JayRolla Asphalt 6 is a by Gameloft, they don't participate in Market, to get those games you will have to go to Gameloft website.
facetubespam, you have installed NFS Shift, how did you get it going? I have a G2/DZ, it works perfectly, but on my Atrix it gives me hard time getting the required updates once the game is installed without any trouble, giving me error message saying game support not available in my country, go to ea website for more information/support. Any idea?

Last I checked, the market version of shift didn't work, only the at&t demo included with the phone did.

Everyone was let down by April deadline should've said May n then if the game was ready April, great! But any who yea I purchased NFS on nexus, barely got to play then can't run on atrix, even though a demo came as bloat??? Wtf was that about? Have samurai revenge and dungeon defenders till May-ish I guess. I'd love burnout, see what a tegra can do ^_^ love to know about NFS as well

Greets all. Not a big gamer on my cell, but was watching a release video for the Galaxy S II and thought GT Racing looked like fun. But when I surfed their from my Atrix, it said my phone wasn't supported.
Going to gameloft from my PC, it asked for my carrier and AT&T isn't listed. Are the two at odds or something? Would love to try this out and see how it plays on the Atrix... but I guess there is no option?
You should check out Riptide. I have only played the demo but I will admit it was quite pleasing graphically wise.
Ditto on Asphalt 6 HD.
Asphalt 6 doesnt work for me(lg o2x game), where can i find it to atrix?
Maybe I missed something, but why are we unable to download nba jam from the market. The charge was able to, but I cant play it on the razr?
I've been playing NBA jam perfectly on my Razr, however, I didn't download it from the marketplace because i'm a naughty boy
I'm not sure I want the app... I've seen some bad reviews, but this one has some that are obscene....
Nba jam is worth it. Bought it when I had the charge. Its good, trust me.
I found this and every other game i have by searching for it on google. Make sure that you're looking for powervr games
It is not compatible with the razr
I loved NBA Jam on my iPod, so as soon as it was available, I bought it for my Evo View tablet. But yeah, it's disappointing that the store says it's not compatible with the RAZR.
But the thing is, it is compatible with the RAZR. I have it installed on mine (we won't talk about how that happened), and it plays just fine. No issues whatsoever.
Most of the time, outside of OS version problems, the main reason for app being listed as "not compatible" is that the developer didn't test it out on that device. This either could be that the developer didn't have access to the device (smaller developers) or that they were just plain lazy (larger developers like EA). Since they didn't test it on the device, in order to minimize potential problems and complaints, they just don't mark the device as compatible when they submit the app.
But NBA Jam does run on the RAZR very well.
I was just wondering if anyone has played any FPS games on their Rezound? I have been hooked on NBA Jam, but was wondering how other "real" games are. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Shadow Gun
Mass Effect Infiltrator
Dead Trigger
All play beautifully on the Rezound.
I personally stay away from Gameloft, since they have screwed me over many times and refuse to honor my purchases.
black ops zombies
nova 3
battlefield bad company 2
dead trigger (tegra 3 mod to make it look excellent)
modern combat 3
not fps but
asphalt 7
spiderman
the dark knight rises
n64oid if yiou like zelda or super smash
now some of these games arent available on the market so you may have to find other means of acquiring them
good luck hope ive helped happy gaming
Awesome, just what I was looking for. Thank you for the input, now we need to get one of those GameKlips for this thing and we will be golden!
Can't say they run at 60fps but they still work well.
