is there a way to create slow-motion-videos with galaxy s2?
once i had this function on my symbian samsung omnia hd and it was quite nice,
so i was just wondering if slow motion depends on the hardware or can be implemented via software mod?

hey folks
i am a film maker and would like to try my new samsung galaxy s2 for film making,its video and still photography capability is amazing.i have plenty pf photography apps downloaded to help me with photography but unfortunately i don't see any video camera replacement on android.i am looking for a default S2 video recorder replacement with filters all some other kind of effects.
is there any other video recorder apps available in the android market ?

Is there a ROM replacement for the Galaxy S 5.0 WiFi (YP-G70CW) European model that allows me to still run some of the custom Samsung Apps (in particular Samsung's remote for Samsung TVs and Samsung Smart View) _AND_ allow hardware acceleration of video so that it can be used as a media-player tablet without all the other Samsung bloatware? I assume hardware acceleration is a must to watch 720p HD-content?

Try this custom rom or this stock based rom. They are both very stable and I believe they allow the use of samsung apps and 720p HD content
I try all and i use chip rom ..looks beautiful..everything works..youtube plays in 720p..no single problem with this rom
GenericGinger is good. He is updating it to 2.3.6 so the link to his rom is down. I like this rom because it had a Beats Audio mod which made the sound quality better.

i've tried a few roms but so far Chip v. 1.4 , give it a try, it is the best for me n most stable..havent had any fc yet..with most roms theres kernel issue n u might not b able to use camera n bluetooth. any GB roms are most stable atm.
Hi, Could anyone advise me on the set of alternative application for recording videos? Until now I used the stock LG Camera, which had a lot of settings and I was very satisfied with her. However, it has little support and does not work on CM9. It is mainly about me adjusting resolution, bitrate and focus (auto, manual, fixed, etc.).
This application is mainly used for filming know since I have the unfortunate mobile module from Fujitsu Siemens and do the problem in recording HD or Full HD video over stock applications about every 3 seconds when focusing hangs video.

Just curious on whether there is any custom video capture software for the galaxy s3 that can capture more than 1920x1080. Previously for the pocket pc based phones (mda compact etc) it was possible to record at very high resolutions at decent framerate.
There is the burst feature i believe already which can capture 3 frames a sec or so, Anyone know of any other software similar?

did any of you read somwhere about flashing new native tizen to the NX300 Camera of Samsung? The camera itself should run Tizen 1.0 and can be rooted. So it shouldn´t be a problem?
Anybody here that tried it? It would be nice to stere the camera just with the photo app of Tizen.
I'm here for the same reason.
There's so much more we could do updating the Tizen on these Samsung cameras (already out of the market).
Controlling via smart watch would be nice! But improve Face Tracking, better codecs, slow motion...
Anybody? How can i help a developer?
