Upgrading firmware to 4.0.5 problem! - Gen8, Gen9, Gen10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi again!
I try to update my device firmware from 3.2.8 to 4.0.5 but every time I updated it a message appear that say "Android is upgrading, Starting Applications..." but nothing happened after 10 minutes...
What can I do? Anybody have same problem?
PS: My computer during update can not install "MTP usb device" driver!

Hi!
Let me explain ! you will lose everything on the tablet but not on the sdcard !
Press power for 10 sec. until the green light closed ....now while press volume down prese again power ( and do not release ) until you will see SDE menu (recovery)!
Here you need to choose Format System-> Reformat Device -> I understood -> ok !....and wait a while....until a new driver appear on your PC , now copy here firmware_archos_it4.aos ( Firmware 4.0.5) and -> OK! That's all ! Now you will have installed ICS 4.0.5 ! Good luck .

HI !
I think you do something wrong!
Please RE-download firmware_archos_it4.aos ...may be is corupted ...and try again ! and attantion, after copy firmware_archos_it4.aos into device , please leave USB cable ( disconnect the cable USB ) !
For install original archos ICS 4.0.5 file you need not necessarily to install MTP usb driver into your PC !

Try to redownload the firmware, corrupted file can be the cause of update failure. Also be sure to safely remove the device before starting the update.
You know how to get into recovery to update the firmware? Hold down the volume down button while starting your device. After a while a white screen should appear with your recovery menu. When that happens let go of the volume down button. Navigate with volume down-up and power to select.

2. extract it somewhere
3. open device manager (or whatever it's called in English windows)
4. connect your Xperia S in fastboot mode (volume up and plug in USB)
5. in less them 3 seconds, hit right button on S1(something device with exclamation mark)
6. select "update drivers"
7. select somewhere\x64\usbwin folder
8. hit ok.
at this time your Xperia S will be allready out of fastboot mode.
9. wait for windows to install drivers
10. wait another couple of seconds, and plug Xperia S in fastboot mode again
If I've helped you, hit the thanks button

I did this a lot of times, but the pc says, windows could not find the drivers and immediately the phone restarts to charging mode =/
How can it be ??
Do 1 thing, keep your device manager opened, connect the phone in FASTBOOT mode and as soon as the Driver icon appears, update driver manually !! It's okay if the phones disconnects.. Once the drivers are installed, connect the phone again..

[Q] [SOLVED] Asus Memo PAD 7 HD ME173X (Autoboot Bug)

Hi,
My tablet decided 'not to charge in off'...
If I turn it off, and connect the charger (original) it turns on, and charge with the device on! After that, if I power off the tablet, it restart, and boot on again...
Don't want to charge in off!
What could it be? How to fix it?
Some devices do it this way all the time. Some devices do this if you are using the wrong, or damaged, charger and sometimes even using a "bad" USB cable will keep the device from charging while off. It is typically set up this way so that the device can regulate its own charging.

disconnect the tablet from pc and turn it OFF .
press 'download' button in the flashtool. if an warning pops up you could choose yes. and then connect the tablet (off) to the pc . after a few seconds a green circle is shown by the flashtool. Done
everything at your own risk !!!
