Try the WKT7 adrenaline rom, it is light, has lots of free ram so it doesn't home refresh so often, thus it does not read from internal and SD memory as much as other roms. For me it has a major impact on the battery life, in a positive sense . Regards.

Depends what you want. The fastest is always going to be icsunday, but there both very fast roms. The trade of is icsunday is barebones, so no extras. That's what makes it so fast. On the flip side gingercruzt is also fast, farster than pretty much any other rom in the forum, except icsunday. But also its got extras, the bravia engine, sony styled apps, timescape and much more. Of course to throw in a third choice if your not a sony fan try my new rom speed blur, its icsunday based. Its in the same post as icsunday. And lastly there is also myth ics if you want stock, I've heard its very fast too. Of course you could flash them all and see witch you like.

I've using ics2 yesterday..
Now, i am using gingercruzt..
Every rom has its benefit n lack..
For me, both rom are fast..it's depend on what u like..
If gingercruzt doesnt give so much app,,maybe it would be as fast as ics2..
But, i dont know how people install their supercharger on both rom..i always failed when install busybox using busybox installer..

hey jusada if i want statusbar like miui in stock rom or in themyth ics rom what i need to do,the one which you have in My-ui2...should i give you systemui.apk and framework-res.apk from stockrom,can you please make one flashable file???
Its not just gingercruzt gives better looks..ICS2 just lacks live wallpapers & ofcourse thats what gives you the speed..If you can search around for some good launchers like adw ex I hope you wont find much of a difference unless you are a die hard sony fan..
N yes gingercruzt couldnt handle many running apps coz it has many of its on running in the background so ICS 2 wins there...
is the sim toolkit can be used at 2 rom this, especially for m-banking ?

Anway,Toxina..I suggest ics2..I havent used it though,but its a favourite rom for many guyz.To tell the truth,i didnt get the time to flash it.I used Gingercruzt but i switched it between the time period of 2 to 3 days,main thing was battery(bit too weak,if you ask me),then it was all the sony apps and icons.I never felt that they were made for the screen size of ace
First of all Hello everybody ..
As u can see , im pretty "new" to the Forum, that means im active a little now and better experienced with flashing etc pp. ..
My question is, is it possible to make the startup of wifi faster like in miui roms, for example 1.9.16?!...
I was on erenz miui and the connection/startup to connect is muuuuuuch faster than stock rom (2.3.3) ..
I just flashed stock rom on my phone, bcs i couldnt install apps from market on my sd and so on ... , but the rom was very smooth
So i just flashed FPS Uncap, and the statusbar widgets .. , its almost as smooth as miui now , and speed is acceptable too, but just this thing with wifi annoys me a little ...
to not get me wrong, i dont need wifi speed increases .. just the connection at first to it
So can anybody help me out?!

Flash feralabs Rom. Its the best Rom I've ever used, the theme is brilliant, and the fact you can play games such as nfs hot pursuit with no lagg is amazing

I think the best is KA15 from krabappel2548. It's an ICS ROM, very pretty, customizable and with a lot of improves from the official ICS release from Sony also it's prerooted. You can check the rom in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538197

hello there i need a recommandation to a rom and kernel or just for a rom that is the best for gaming .. i dont relly care about the battery im with my charger all the time.. any way i need basicly 3 importent things:
1)best gaming expirience (support multi touch and touch bug fix ofcourse) (dont mind the battery)
2)herbrew suport cus as you see my english isnt the best
3)non buggy internet ..

In my opinion perfectpeso is the best for gaming.

|ROM|G-T-R V6| works fine and its good also with bluetooth stereo tecnology, in fact other 4.0.4 rom got very big problem with a2dp bluetooth device for incoming call. that's my experience. Sorry for poor english, I'm italian so what do you aspect?

Maybe, you should give the Serenity V3 (ICS) a try. I'm using it and it's giving a really good standby, smooth interface and sound is pretty too.
CM9 if you want walkman and other media apps
CM10 if you don't want sony media stuff (except old walkman and clear audio+)
Dont revive old threads which are not allowed
and dont suggest any rom
Your best bet is to go through the threads, read like a crazy man and determine for yourself, which one is the best. Each ROM can perform differently on individual devices. So what works for someone else may not work for you.
