I put the TeamHacksung 6.5 rom and Glitch 1.4b5 kernel on both my Samsung Fascinate and my wife's, and now our Prius can't tell them apart. Apparently there's a problem with all the ICS-flashed Fascinates having the same Bluetooth MAC address.
Anyone know of a fix?
Use aokp sswek2s fixed it and aokp is the only ROM that picked it up so far...

Hooked my AOKP'd phone to my Prius today with no problems...no more Bluetooth interference.

JoelZ has it booting but RIL does not work. So basically it's not a phone as of this point.
there was a v4 possibility but no word for awhile now. I'm currently learning how to port so I can make this possible. might start with an earlier build though
Gotcha both. Here's to hoping... I use MIUI to get away from sense and then - as absence makes the heart grow fonder - I come back to sense running. heh
Once the people who are working on data can get it working, we'll get a wave of AOSP, including MIUI I'm sure.
Okay, since Jelly Bean came to the Photon (and Electrify!), we've had nearly half a dozen ROMs pop up. Let's review, shall we?
1. Unofficial CyanogenMod 10 0.1.1 by jokersax
2. Paranoid Android 1.9.5 by Th3Bill
3. XenonHD 8.11 by Th3Bill
4. CNA (Codename: Android) 3.10 by Th3Bill
5. AOKP Build 8 by Th3Bill
...and I coulda sworn there was a second CM10 build floating around for a while.
So we have 5 of them.
Guys, what's the difference? They all have the sweet Android 4.x UI. They all have Google Now. They all have per-app notification muting. And they all have the expanded notifications, like hanging up a call or responding to a missed call with a call back or a text message.
I know Paranoid Android has the hybrid tablet stuff. That's awesome.
When I asked what AOKP did, I was told it had swagger, whatever that means. Oh, and a pink unicorn. If I were a brony, that would be my first and only choice.
But seriously, what are the differences? If you use one over the other, why?
I use Joker's CM10 right now, because presently all the other ROMs appear to be based on it.
Each ROM has their own little tweaks/added settings/perks. Like MIUI has a battery bar that can go across the top of the screen in a thin line all the way across to easily see your battery level. And most(if not all) JB and ICS based ROMS are based upon Jokers work so they all have the same base(if something doesnt work in Jokers CM9/10 it most likely is broke in all variants). Different theming, system apps, just the overall feel are found between all different ROMs. There really is no way to just pick one and say this is the best or anything, its all based upon your personal preferences. My advice would be to sit down when your bored with a while to kill and make backups and go to town flashing them all and using them for a while and finding out which one works for you the best. I personally like CM9/10 the most, but the Paranoid is pretty sweet and will most likely be my new daily ROM once MMS is up and running without GoSms.
He explained it pretty much on point and MMS is now working 100% ... from my experience JB CNA has the best battery life

We haven't gotten Jelly Bean officially. We haven't even gotten ICS officially.
What we DO have is CyanogenMod 10! Which is based off Jelly Bean. That was released for us by jokersax11 shortly after Cyanogen released preview builds of CM10.
The best part is, surprisingly, CM10 is more stable than CM9 (which is based off ICS) was for us. CM10 has working Browser rotation, working MMS, and a much more stable Camera! The Video Cam is something to be desired but a small price to pay for the latest and greatest when really tho, our Photons still only officially have Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4/5).
If your someone who has updated their Photon to 2.3.5, forget it, you're stuck with Gingerbread for now.

Currently, I have CM9's stable build flashed, coming from AOKP (I got a little tired of the pink unicorns ) The only problem that I have with this stable build is the vibrate while screen is off (locked). It won't vibrate normally as it does when the screen is on (unlocked) when any notifications come in. It just does short and very quick pulses and I can't tell if it goes off or not.
Possible fix?
I read about this problem in another thread here like a month ago. I don't remember what they did to fix it or if it was fixed. However, I can say, that's what u get for leaving AOKP! LOL jk

These builds will always have some fixes not currently in the nightlies when released. Once fixes are confirmed, they will be merged into the main repos.

Thanks for all the hard work you put in on these ROM's. Loved your CM10 work and I'm sure this will be just as good. Hope to see you pushing out ROM's for a long time to come.
Solid build. I cant decide between this and sense and I feel dirty for saying that

Let me just say for those that are curious:
Audio is superb. More amazing than its ever been. My music is loud and full of bass as it should (I like that sort of thing sue me) and it doesn't require any additions like those silly mods of Beats or AC!D. The speakerphone for calls is also loud and clear, which btw phone calls themselves are clearer as well. It's like HD Voice without having HD Voice. Whenever that gets turned on for Sprint I'm excited to hear how much clearer it gets. The microphones are working very well for calls. For video recording is a tad lower but deck IS working on "all teh things". Camera is working perfectly, and only 720p video recording as noted and the quality is fantastic as well. I'm very pleased with this rom.
You will all also notice the speeds and transitioning with this rom is higher than it was on 4.1.2 CM10. It's very fluid and responsive. There's also a nice animation your eyes will enjoy when switching between apps.
Last thing, if you need Developer options, you have to go to Settings > About Phone > tap build # 7 times to open it. Nice little easter egg there eg?
All in all its a solid ROM and I am very pleased.
[EDIT] One last thing I forgot... connectivity on this ROM is very much improved. Hand-offs work as they should, and much easier and quicker to get eHRPD when reconnecting. Especially when I hit usual dead spots/1x areas. Great work deck.
Thanks so much for this. Excited to try after work.
Lol. Just updated CM10. Looks like I'll be waiting until some of the bugs (mainly camera focus) are cleared up.
Is bluetooth not working for anyone else? Didn't see that as one of the known issues but mine won't let me toggle it on.

*Blue Tooth is working great for me!
Silly question but full wipe coming from CM10 yeah?

Been running this ROM over the weekend. Bluetooth (A2DP) and all else works great. No connection issues I've noticed.

+1, only issues I have experienced are the ones deck already mentioned in the OP.
I actually chose this phone based on the knowledge that he was developing for it. So happy he's continuing to work on the jewel.

Finally got it working. Had to toggle airplane mode on and off a few times. Still seems slow to kick in tho.

So you know how you can change how many screens the wallpaper can cover? From the default 2 to 5...which allows you have a wider wallpapers? Is there anyway to change that number to 1 so you can just have a longer, more vertical wallpaper that doesn't scroll when swiping through homescreens?
Loving this, been running it for a few days.
Add in the newest Komodo kernel and the touch focus is fixed. GPS lock is beautiful.
Only wish that the external SD mounted but that's nothing new.
ive been curious as ive heard either great or bootloopin' results from KT, i wanted to hear more from the rezound side, any issues with settings sticking?, bootloops? smooth sailing? and sense or AOSP base?

Seems to be different for everybody, I've had no problems using it since January
