Hey gang.
I have two bluetooth devices in my car. One for Streaming audio and one for voice calls. Is there a way to have both devices active at the same time but have one device devoted to handsfree and one device devoted to streaming?
I can't find any settings in the Bluetooth Settings to enable/disable certain profiles.
Thanks,
Nevermind...answered my own question
Long Press on the device in the Bluetooth Settings and select which profile you want

Hi,
I am looking for a wşdget app which can enable bluetooth audio streaming with just one click.
Actually, it should be configured to connect to a specific audio device when the widget is clicked.
Is there such software ? Or any simple method to do this ?
I am using ADW Ex launcher and it has some activity selection but bluetooth connection is not one of them.
Moved to proper section
thanks for moving the thread to the correct section.
I believe there must be more than one way and/or app which achieves what I'm looking for. It is a very reasonable requirement.
any ideas ?
no ideas anyone ?
Is "Bluetooth profile widget" what you are looking for?
Just search for it on the market...

This is exactly what I'm looking for
How did you find it ? It wasn't there 2 days ago...
Your question was interested to me, because I am also using BT for audio streaming all the time... So I did a simple search
Sometimes my phone doesn't want to auto connect to cars BT interface, so this is definitely very useful app for me.

exactly what chadouming said
Ok, done that it was already checked
is checking "Profile->Phone->Use for phone audio" means that phone is running A2DP service ?
FYI - that didn't work either.
Every other device in the house can find my bluetooth speaker (GoGroove BlueSync OR3) but for some reason it doesn't show up on the Note II's list of bluetooth devices. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Sometimes when first setting up my headset (after new ROM flash) I have to push the sync/phone button on my headset, then my phone sees it.

Hi guys, I wonder if I could get an answer to something that I can't seem to figure out.
I currently have an HTC One M8, which when I get into my car, automatically pairs to the car's Bluetooth system & allows me to use voice control to dial, and also play music through the car stereo (also via Bluetooth).
What I can't figure out, is if I were to buy a smartwatch (The LG is what i'm looking at), then I assume that the watch connects to the phone using Bluetooth? If that is the case, then what happens, if my phone & watch are currently paired together when I get into my car?
I'm under the impression that Bluetooth only was between 2 devices? If so, would I need to manually disconnect the phone from the watch and then manually connect it to the car? Or would the phone automatically drop the watch connection when it saw the in-car connection available? Or can the phone somehow remain connected to both Bluetooth devices at the same time?
I can't be the only person that might have in-car Bluetooth that's also thinking about/already owns a smartwatch?
Maybe I'm just over-thinking it?
Thanks in advance for any information.

I have the Omate Truesmart. I keep it paired to my Note3, and also use LG Tone bt headphones or with my car radio JVC Kameleon. The difference is when you click on the settings icon for the connected device in the BT menu on the phone. It will list the headphones/car radio as phone and media audio and allows me to play music through them or use as bluetooth connection for calls, and skip tracks and play pause. For the watch it lists the connection type as internet use, and I can use the watch to view and skip tracks, view/answer/dismiss calls, reply to notifications. I am guessing the android wear devices will probably work the same way.

Many thanks for the reply.
So, for all intents & purposes, I can, in real terms, keep the phone connected to both the watch & the in-car audio at the same time?

Thanks very much for your responses guys. I ended up ordering the Samsung instead of the LG in the end (Which is odd, as I dislike their phones).
I have a Galaxy Gear and keep it connected to my phone all the time as well as my LG Tone+ , I haven't experienced any issues with the two. I'm assuming that the Android Wear stuff will work similarly if not better.
Good question

Has anyone figured out how to get the watch to recognize these as a HRM yet? on the pairing list it shows up as a SMART senor but only gets paired as a headphone... any help?
bump
If you get it paired as headphone, you probably used the bluetooth menu in the global settings.
Use the accessories menu in the activity

Your right this is a common mistake that's made however I did try in the accessories menu and it still wants to pair as a headphone.
Do you have this setup? Have you had any success with this?
No I don't, just pointing out the "ususal mistake".
Probably the developers didn't think that there are devices out there that can have more then one device definition.
Did you email support ?
Any response from Amazfit support regarding your HRM earpiece ?
can you pair them to your phone? does it pairs as one or two devices ?
