Hi all,
I've just got a Korean android base device.
The manufacturer is: MPGIO
Model: Plan80
I've search all over google to find some info about this device - but nothing fits.
I tried to root it via superoneclick and adb cmd but the device reboots without any root.
I also tried to enter manual recovery but it doesn't work (also downloading mode).
Can you please advise how to continue from there?
Device inforamtion:
Model: plan80
Android Version: 2.2.1
Kernal: 2.6.25

I already tried: SUPER ONE CLICK, Z4ROOT & GINGERBREAK but all don't work.

Hi, I had rooted my galaxy FIT on stock rom with gingerbread 2.3.4 & firmware version S5670DDKQ5 using SUPERONECLICK earlier.
Recently my fone was upgraded by samsung kies to gingerbread 2.3.6 & firmware version S5670DDKT2, and after the upgrade I was unrooted again
When I tried to root again, all my attempts failed, I used SuperOneClick 2.3.3 to root my fone again, but it failed after STEP 7.
So can anyone please tell me, why can't I root my fone now, has SAMSUNG patched the zergrush exploit?
If so how do I root again?, I mean it should be safe enough to try coz I don't wanna brick my phone....

Hi,
I have a Coby Kyros MID70104G.
It didn't come with android market (google play) and so I installed an apk of it. But it continually force closes. Youtube apk also doesn't work.
So I was thinking of rooting it to try and fix it ?
Could someone please provide me with detailed step-by-step instructions on how to root it,What I should do after it's rooted (ie. performance upgrades etc) and How I can install maybe diffrent versions of android / RESTORE it to factory default settings if I don't like it ?
It would be greatly appreciated as I am a noobie with this stuff !

I tried to update my Nexus S (i9023) to 4.0.4. and i got an error
(installation aborted).
So, I wanna flash the factory image (the official), but I don't know how.
I read something about "fastboot" and the Android SDK (is this the 4.0.4 update file?), what does it mean?

The link I just provided you is a sticky. Stickies are a wonderful thing. They exist at the top of each page so they don't disappear and so that you can find information, such as how to properly root the Streak, quickly.
In the future, do learn to use the search engine we have here on the site and try to find the information yourself before posting. It's a site rule. Also remember the stickies.
P.S. In case you're wondering, using a one-click root method is not the proper way to root the Streak.

I'm not sure about this particular build version, but when I had a streak on 12792, psneuter, gingerbreak etc wouldn't work. I resolved the issue by downloaded rageagainstthecage and using it in SuperOneClick. Hope this helps.
