I recently downloaded some gameloft games which when I wanted to install them,it restarted my optimus one. For ex Order & Chaos etc
So I flashed it with CM7. Still don't the same thing.
Can this be fixed somehow by editing the build.prop file or doing any other modifications?

Our phone does not yet support these games because of the CPU (arm v6) so do not expect to run most recent games yet. Maybe after some months or decades o1 will support them lol.

Not true. Well officially it doesn't support those,but there is a russian Optimus One blog where the russians have modified a bunch of gameloft games to work on Optimus one. Here are a few examples which are fixed:
Asphalt 5
NOVA
Eternal Legacy
Modern Combat Sandstorm
Assassins Creed
HAWX
Gangster
Hero Of Sparta
and one of my fav games too: Guerilla Bob
I suppose there is some code in the installer apk file which isn't compatible with the system,that's why we get restarting,but those russians can fix this so there is some way around this.

You can try chainfire 3d app.
It isn't problem with the graphics. The games would run on Optimus One with reduced graphics with Chainfire.
The problem is that I can't even install the games.
When I try to install,it reboots my phone...
I know there is a way to fix this because those russian developers have already fixed some of those games so it IS possible.
Does any1 have the same prob?

Already fixed this restarting issue. Flashed the latest CM7 and now there is no more restarting,I can install whatever I want.

ok.. here are the reasons why your phone reboots while installing those games.. .
the GAME you DOWNLOADED was not an ARMV6 compatible games.. .
but.. but.. but .. .
there's a lot of GAMELOFT GAMES now that was MODIFIED to RUN on ARMV6 Devices.. . and played a lot of em' like .. .
NOVA • GUERILLA BOB • ASPHALT 5 • i also have STUPID ZOMBIES • DEAD SPACE • ETERNAL LEGACY • BOTHERS IN ARMS • and other GAMES which is not really made for ARMV6 DEVICES.. .
here's a tip.. .
trynna look for an ARMV6 installer/apk.. .Google it.. just type "Order & Chaos for ARMV6"

JasataPein is right, the apk u dwnlded isnt compatible. just try dwnlding another APK..

game requires the arm 7.
Hi it seems to run well on kuyadroid then shifted to dx v10+ but the games kinda lag for a few seconds.. kuyadroid and dx same effect but playable

Have you installed a special version of the game or is the normal market one?
Normal one from market the lite version,havent tried the full version yet,couldnt download it

Strange, I can't see it from the phone's market and if I go to the browser one it tells me that is not supported for my phone. I also think that there isn't a free version. Maybe you are talking about Reckless RACING?

Of what game are you talking about? Reckless GATEWAY or Reckless RACING?
Reckless getaway does not work on me froyobread final. I successfully installed it, but opening it will give you bad vibes... can't find it on the market, i think it is removed..

There is some hacks... But is consider warez, so i cant share it to u...
Now it's ONLY for ARMv7
But we can wait port...
i saw a version for armv6 but its not working on my stock eclair!
It works on my x10 but cant steer my vehicle as its for xperia play motion doesnt work...

You can get some ARMv6 versions/Adreno GPU versions (our X8 has a adreno 200 GPU) bon sites like blackdroid and andguru (just google for them, I can´t post the links because this are sites where you can get warez), but until now I got nothing else than FCs.
I´ll open a thread in the Themes&Apps Froum when I´ll find a working one.

I got a force-close with Adreno apk+Adreno data, and I want to try the ARMv6 apk+Adreno data, and if this doesn´t work, I´ll search on other websites.
And only the versions for high-end phones have 550MB.....the data we can use has around 520MB...and when it asks you to download the data, just add

It's a Tegra game, so you need Chainfire3d to run that game on Defy.
I have Chainfire running, and I know Tegra is working because Riptide runs.
But sprinkle just closes after opening. Guess ill just have to wait to see if a solution appears

Same here, i´ve tried WIUI 2.2.3 and 2.2.24 Hybrid and got the same results.
I´m using chainfire 3d pro 3.3 with nvidia plugin.
You dont need chainfire for either riptide or sprinkle. PowerVR versions of both have been released on the market.

It is compatible with the x10 I have on my account but not the defy. But I think it'll install and play nice if you get it offmarket.
Edit: I have send a mail to the support as I suspect there is no real reason for it to be unsupported. They are almost forcing us to get it illegal ^^

Cool, thx man! Let´s see if we get it on defy´s market.
I've tested on Epsylon last nightly, works fine, just since 2 jan nighlty (almost sure), previously builds it doesn't work, if someone can find the difference between those nightlys or the changelog...
I get why it doesn't allow to be installed to the defy. It seems that they don't support froyo and defy is officially on froyo. But I tought the latest CM nightly's had the defy+ signature :/ Maybe not.

I just found a game on market called PetraVis Lite ... basicly a game inspired by minecraft pocket edition ... so you can try it .. it's pretty cool ...
The thing is that on x8 we can not play mc-pocket edition ... so this is kinda cool
EDIT: googled a bit and found AWESOME GAME ... just like minecraft, litterally, it's "blockworld"

I purchased Minebuilder, and I play with that game. And I love that.
I tried other MineCraft andro version games, but this was the best... Unfortunatelly it has some annoying bugs, but it will be updated soon.

You must have played with a modded version... Or maybe this is a bug or whatever. I have never faced with this problem. Kinda wierd.
