Once you've got the Kitchen running. You will need to place a base rom in a zip format in the "original_update" folder. Next, you will have to form a Working folder by typing 1 and pressing Enter which Sets up the folder for you. Modify your ROM as you wish and once you've finished, type 99 and press Enter. Follow the on-screens steps, and Horaay! your have a flashable zip of your ROM.
Hit thanks if i have helped you.

You wont use the update script/updater script/binaries if you don't want to brick your phone as dsixda's kitchen doesn't know to make them properly for Ace.Use ketut's script instead

I have a kernel that needs to be flashed trough odin, but I want to convert it into a flashable zip.
To do that, all i need to do is download a flashable custom kernel, delete the boot.img that comes inside the zip file and move the boot.img of the other kernel (the one that comes in .tar) kernel into the flashable zip and then flash through cwm?
Do i need to do something else or with that it should work?
Thanks you in advance.
Just open the zip file and add your .img or .bin (for the modem flasher).
Don't forget to delete the .txt file.
That's all.

maybe i9300 and s3 mini have different recovery partition, when you are using flashable zip from other model you are not only porting the img but you have to check and edit also the updater-script to match it with your model partition thats why it messed up your phone's partition.

You mention that u cant access recovery and download mode so the technician has no way to check the status of your phone if rooted or not?
If you bring it for warranty repair just dont tell them that u rooted it and flashed anything, just make your own reasoning so u dont have to pay for the repair.
Hi my phone is stuck on a boot loop and is only showing the logo.
Its NOT rooted, is there anyway i can recover apps and data of it?

First of all, Are you able to boot into recovery mode?
If so you can use it! Even flash CWM! And boot Android as always (probabliy you'll lose your apps and data but can revive your device without using Odin)

It will be usefull!
You can make wipe factory reset with the default recovery, but I advice you flash Acegingeroot.zip and CWM 5.0.26.FIX, if you use the stock recovery you'll lose all your apps and data but if you use CWM you can make a nandroid!! ie you could backup all your ROM (apps and data incluided)!!
Which android version are you using? I guess your device is a S5830, right?

What a strange thing... I've S5830 and I've never had to mount nothing when I've done a backup :S. Maybe because you are't root yet?¿ I don't know, but you can try to ask in the S5830I thread or to mount manually data partition
Go to mounts and storage, mount data partition and then try again
If it doesn't work or you don't want to try it, I should't advice you, so I'm sorry go to the correct thread and ask for it

No way u can recover to your older state if u don't have a nandroid mate. .
U should have opted for a nandroid.
1 solution....
Download the stock Rom zip file for ur phone.. (if it's available in xda)
I guess you have either Cwm or twrp recovery...
Pull the battery out...
Take out the memory card...
Put it in a card reader and from ur pc transfer ur stock rom(provided u find d it and download it... Or better download a custom Rom for ur ph from xda if it's available) zip file into ur mem card.
Put it back in the phone.
Put in the battery.
Boot into recovery(probably volume up and power key pressed together... Not sure for ur ph... Google it)
Flash the zip from sd card.
This is an alternative to going to the service centre.
But sorry mate o way to get the data back, except what was in ur mem car
You dont have to install any rom if you want to stay stock, just get in recovery mode and press wipe data/factory reset.your phone will lose all settings, apps and files except what you have in memory card,it will be just like when you bought your phone.

From what I found out there is no custom rom for your phone in xda. There is one for star mobile astra.
One thing... Rar file won't work...weren't there any procedures written in the forum from where you took it?
If not.. U can try changing the extension to .zip manually..
Then put it into ur so card and flash it through recovery

If it is a rom for your phone and the extension is rar then extract it, download 7zip and rezip it with that. If it is not the right rom for you're device then you will need the stock rom. Factory reset would work if you had the correct rom. I'm afraid that it is the wrong rom.

Please help me what to do? I'm stuck in a boot loop after flashing a zip file that was supposed to let Arabic supported, but I guess the zip file was wrong or something?
Is it fixed by flashing a flashable zip that has a framework or something? Excuse me I'm such a noob
Can anyone provide a flashable zip file that would make it work again? No need for Arabic, I just want it booting normally again.
Thank you.

HODDON HODDON MAKE THE SAMSUNG CAPITAL S "Samsung" in build.prop if not
can you check the kernel date ? i said it newer kernel dont accept this tweak then only thing you can do is unpack and repack the stock recovery with cwm just the bootloader inside recovery.img stays the same . its a tricky work i can provide you the binaries for linux or have you tried to unlock the oem ? using fastboot ? i dont know if it works on this device bro but you can try i can give you the abt link too if you want
ohh i just found out your kernel date its build on may 2014 they patched that fix
or if you dont have much knowledge working with linux binaries then another thing you can do is VVVV
1)download a stock frimware for gt-s7262 from back in nov 2013 or dec
2) flash the whole thing with odin
3) the kernel stays the same may 2014 cause samsung dont accept downgrade of kernel cool ! we can fix that extract the boot.img with 7zip from the md5 file and tar it make md5 and flash it again and select it as bootloader BL NOT IN AP odin 3.9
4) flash the cwm again and it wont give white screen error but your warranty will be void bro !

try to root using the files in the above provided link.
Trust me. No more white screen. No need to download any necessary firmwares!
have fun!!
one more thing, do not add the recovery.tar.rar file (img file) as PDA. Use the recovery.tar.md5 or the recovery.tarsuccessfullyrooted.rar
