electrify doesn't have lte. i do believe it does support hspa+ 4g (GSM).
it should work in europe if they run the same frequencies as here which i'm pretty sure they do in europe.
no need for a different radio.

[Q] Razr XT912 , GSM usage on GB or ICS

Hi
just purchased a XT912
its on 2.3.6
want it to be used in India for gsm purpose
can anyone help me
what should i do to get gsm going in the phone on GB
or should i update it to ICS and simply insert the gsm sim and change network to gsm and start using ?
i havent used this phone ever before.
regards
I think that is impossible :S
The hardware in the CMDA version is diferent to the on in the GSM, so you would only be able to get CMDA signals and not GSM
You are wrong
The Verizon version has both GSM as well as CDMA radios
Just updated it to ICS and GSM is working fine.
Though all gsm operators outside us will be working

Help with finding best baseband for US T-Mobile

Hi guys, I'm new here with the international I9300 and on USA Tmobile network. I have looked for some time now regarding the roaming on GSM and not on WCDMA. My current baseband is XXELL4, yet i get very low signal normally one bar or two bar on WCDMA (w/o roaming). would get full bars on GSM (roaming). I'm wondering if anyone could help me if there's a baseband that works best for tmobile network in the US? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers!

[Q] GSM on Motorola ELECTRIFY M XT901

Anybody know does the Motorola ELECTRIFY M XT901 (U.S. Cellular) have GSM module? It great phone, I'am realy love it, but I want to use it with GSM carrier. Maybe need some software or hardware modification?
Motorola Electrify M on GSM network
so I would like to know: will it work with this phone GSM network (no CDMA and LTE)?
Can anybody insert sim of GSM carrier??? What will hapends in this case?
The Electrify M XT901 uses a different baseband chip than its RAZR M cousin. It lacks GSM radios and 5GHz Wifi. The phone itself also lacks GSM antenna. There are no options in the stock ROM for Global or GSM modes, and even though 3rd party RAZR M ROMs can work in the Electrify M, those options won't work due to lack of GSM radio.
I don't make it a habit to necro-post, but just thought I would answer this question because it's one of the first Google hits when searching for this info.
