Yes, they have different Soc's. But this mod isn't restricted to just international Note. It came from a Galaxy Nexus mod and from what I see, it was made from scratch. There may be some genius out there to do this!

Read the disclaimer at the end, combine it with att's history, and wager a guess. Then hope rogers gets it!

Meh, I'd rather have a vanilla ICS experience like on the galaxy nexus and my transformer prime. Samsung pushes touch wiz to da max!

I actually don't mind touchwiz. It's not nearly as intrusive as Blur or Sense. I also prefer using the Touchwiz launcher due to the calendar widget

There's no way in hell ATT is far behind. We'll be seeing ICS soon, dev community even sooner.

Isn't the bell note have the same internals as att notes? So it will be easy to port to our notes.

Sorree, but
I still donn't believe Canadian updates to be any soon.
Samsung hasn't released update for international Note yet so lte will definitely take more longer.

I can see why people think international will be first, with the past of galaxy devices in general, but since the Canadian and US models have completely different internals, therefore this could very well be true and we could see ics a lot sooner than we expected here on xda.

Canadian and US models are exactly the same, if not we couldn't run SAUROM Rom that's based of Canadian Rom on the US Notes.
RoloRacer on Galaxy Note!
How long am I gonna wait my update with Fido?
Will Fido even offer it?

Ppl don't forget majority of World is enjoying ICS on international SGS2, Canada still havnt updated its gingerbread version from 2.3.3.
And Galaxy Nexus is on 4.0.4 now and Canada still on 4.0.1
And no updates expected.
Thanks XDA. Thanks Developers

Should I replace galaxy s2 with the galaxy note n7000?

I am so confused to whether go for the galaxy note because of it's enormous screen but
according to others on web galaxy note is a bit slower/laggy than the galaxy s2.
Some people on a forum said that this lag is due to its GPU because it has to handle a lot of pixels
what should be your suggestion..........?
Thanks for reading please reply as well
Go and post in N7000 sure you'll get a lot of replies
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
gnote is horrible laggy compared to s2 (CM10.1), i just flashed a linaro build -03 optimization w/e on a friend's note(CM10.1) =P
but ram is always around 400~500mb, and the gpu has a lot of work to do for that big screen, it might not be that bad

Correcto.
Sent from the little guy
go ahead the devices are identical besides the screen
yeah its a tad slower because of the higher pixel screen but the S pen makes up for the lost performance
What about switching to htc one x? Or stick to samsung and look for any other model.
