What will not boot? What rom are you on? What did you freeze? Some roms need that bloatware in order for basic services to function.
Unfreeze the apps if possible, reboot your phone then see if things work correctly.

The Motorola droid x2 wont open it stops just by the so called "red eye" then it goes back to beginning droid. then again the mystic "red eye" then back to beginning
if i would be able to pass that "red eye and goes in the system" i would be able hopefully to unfreeze the system files.
is there a way to pass that and open it up.
is there a way to control it from the PC?.
is there some way to control it with the SD card?
or an advance way with some code?
I feel so lost when that TOY turns out to be able only to display a red mystic rotating eye

That's called bootloop. See if a factory reset works. If not its time to sbf.

Sbf. Ur bootlooping as said earlier. Good news it's fixable... what bloatware did u remove?

if you want less bloat, install CM7 or eclipse 2.1

Factory resetting.

I'm currently running the supercharged script on my phone and I was wondering if it was safe to factory reset the phone. Also would I lose the supercharged script?
While you're here, can someone tell me how we get into stock recovery? Same as the X?

Bump? Does anyone know?

If you are doing a factory reset, I would remove the supercharge script and reapply it after the fact. Can you elaborate on the stock recovery... not sure what it was like on the X.
To pull up the Android Recovery, power off the phone, holding the volume down button power on the phone. Release both buttons when you see "Fastboot". Press the volume down button until you see "Android Recovery" and press both volume buttons. Not sure if this is the same as what you are looking for or not.
Ok, exactly what I was looking for. Should I also restore bloat or can that stay frozen?
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA Premium App
If you restore with apps frozen, it will more than likely unfreeze them by default. I've never done a factory reset with frozen apps myself, but that is the going consensus. On a side note, if you want to leave the supercharge script in place, you can verify it is still running using the script manager after the reset. Setting up the supercharge script isn't very hard to do.
Alright thank you for the info sir. I always had a custom rom to depend on with my Fascinate so its a bit of a challenge with this one.

1. Swype work?
2. I restored apps with titanium backup but I'm getting force closes on some apps?
3. Anyway to check what leakage kernel you are on?

1. Yes swype works but you have to delete your current version of swype and install the new swype beta...do this from swype's website, sorry don't have the link handy, but it is an improvement from the previous version that comes with our phone
2.you can restore apps with TiBu but do not restore system apps, and when you do a batch restore, make sure you select apps only not data...not doing that well get you fc.city!
3.I just downloaded all three and start with hl and work my way down to ll...not sure of a way to see the kernel leakage, all I can ever find is the version name, never if its hl,ml,or ll?? So I start with high and work down so its easy for me to remember

I restored "missing apps + data" but it still didn't restore everything. I had to go through manually and restore the apps I was missing. I don't even know if I restored them all now.
But anywho I tried installing my transparent themed google search bar but it just FC'd on me. So i tried reflashing gapps but now I can't re-install it. From the market it force closes too.

From all of your force close issues it sounds like you missed wiping something when you made the switch to cm7...honestly I would take the time now and odin back to stock and reinstall it shouldn't take more then 15 mins or so since you already should have all the files you need.

Thats why I think you should re flash...I've never had to install google search it's just there when I flash the rom, I always flash the gapps.zip after the rom and never actually checked to see if it was on my phone prior to flashing the gapps...did you do that?? If you did I'd try flashing the gapps.zip again

Well I reinstalled it but it looks to have messed up my back ups in titanium. Look. I'm missing apps too!

Why would it say I have no back ups? ? I have no idea what apps I've lost now.

I batch restored. Once google apps was done installing everything market started restoring a bunch of apps (not all). After that was done I went to titanium and installed
Missing apps + data.
One key difference is that I ticked the option in settings for support for moving data between incompatible roms.
I was having some issues though. Turns out when I upgraded from the old to recent version of glitch kernel I unknowingly put low leak over high leak and with out the removal script. It was almost perfect except every now and then a program would crash.
I wiped data, dalvik and cache. Reinstalled the rom. Let it boot. Installed glitch. Let it boot. Installed google apps and went from there. haven't under volted but that's more about which version of the kernel I have and the battery and speed are so goods already, I'm not worried about it.
I also went through my app list and manually restored data for previously installed apps that I needed. Also eliminates problems with data you don't even need. Then sms restore to restore sms and call log.
The in call sound is still a little quiet though. Luckily my friends, colleagues and I don't use voice calls.
Only a 4 chan app force closes now but it's crappy so that's not surprising.
I hope that helps someone.

I'm getting constant force closes now. Just randomly out of the blue. Sad day . Also reboot locks up my phone and I have to pull the battery

I had that. Reboot into recovery. Sounds like you need to do that through adb now. Wipe cache and dalvik. Fix permissions and reboot. Worked for me when that happened. I almost thought I couldn't reboot but I was patient and eventually thw fc tapered off to just google framework and I was able to get the power menu.

Yeah I did that. But now it's back again. It seemed to have only momentarily fixed it. I wiped again and more force closes. I'm beginning to think it has something to do with titanium backup!

I've been on fence about trying CM7. I run it on my Nook Color and like alot. But I depend on my phone for work and I'm worried about all issues I read people are having, particularly call volume. I can't afford to annoy a client with phone issues in this economy!
What is consensus - is this a dependable daily driver?

Blurrrr

If you delete all the blur apps from your phone or flash a ROM that removed blur is there a easy to get it back?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
umm.. yeah...
Well... if you know the #1 rule to messing with your phone, is to ALWAYS do a backup of your system BEFORE you change anything on it...
Now, if you made a backup of your system before you remove blur apps or flash another ROM without Blur, then you can always go back to your OG settings from your backup....
Or... you can use adb to pull system/app & data/app for safe keeping before you go deleting things so you can always get the Blur stuff back...
I would also use Titanium Backup.. you can always freeze apps you don't want running as well..
There's no reason to delete anything stock off your phone.
Freeze them with Titanium Backup (which also hides them in the App drawer).
Too many times I see people deleting things, and then scrambling here looking for what they deleted because their phone crashes down the road when they change fw...

I'm just saying because I like the cm7 ROM but it doesn't have any blur and I just wanted to see if I could get some of my accounts back.

Soft Bricked, Please Help

I soft bricked my 4 hour new Razr. Was freezing stuff on Titanium and might have selected something I wasn't supposed to. Now When I boot it up, it just boot loops. What should I do?
Hard factory reset and got it up and past the set up screens, now getting FC's on something about my account, causing the homescreen to be blank and I can't do anything other than pull down the status bar.
You need to root... get a list of your system apps and compare them to a stock Razr (check the system dump) and then adb push /system/app whatever is missing

It's rooted, but I can't access anything. Just stuck on the blank (black) screen with the status bar.
You can still use ADB

How to kill apps which runs in background

Hi guys, I bought Razr recently and notice that lot of applications are running in the background even when I have not opened those apps. I have installed advanced task killer pro but with no help.. When I kill those apps within 5 secs they start running again.. Apps like whats up, music pblood and glory, almost around 40 apps run in a background. can anybody suggest any way to kill them when dont use it.
Sent from my XT910 using xda premium
Either freeze it using TB, or set them to auto-kill in the default task manager.

I cant use TB as my phone is not rooted as I did ota update. I have set them to auto kill thru default task manager but still every after 5 secs they start running again..
Sent from my XT910 using xda premium
No choice. The only thing you can do is to freeze them. Those apps WILL auto-run. Cause they are built into your ROM. Without rooting your phone, there's nothing much you can do except set it to auto kill.
I used root explorer to change vzwlocationagent.apk to vzwlocationagent.bak and haven't had any problems with that program running again.
Then I guess I need to wait for the root as I have updated my phone... Thanks

I've got my Razr rooted but still have the stock rom running. I also noticed all those crapware apps running in the background.
I used the Task Manager app on the stock rom to auto-end all the non essential apps. Seems to have better battery life since. So that's one option if you're not rooted and not running a custom rom.

most crapware may show up but most likely not doing anything so the more u end task it, the more it reopens in which turn affects battery.
