I have a problem with my phone one day to another calls are heard almost nothing too low can not find the problem and return to the original rom and nothing stays the same even prodian please help thanks..
Have you tried re-flashing your chosen rom?
Flashtool guide here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
Or...
If you want to return to your original rom but you cant, then maybe think about starting all over again from stock rom. Then you can flash to whatever you like from a nice clean install
You can do this using several methods...
PC companion...
http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS)...
http://sony-ericsson-update-service.en.uptodown.com/
Wotanserver...(free but gotta sign up)

Hope this helps

Hey guys.. i have a big problem with my X10
I wanted to flash back to the newest generic 2.1 (I had the newest rooted 2.1) .. turns out it wasnt such a smooth ride..
I used the "X10 Flash Tool" and the newest generic 2.1 rom from this thread
Everything went fine, no error messages but now my X10 will not boot.
When I turn it on I feel the phone vibrate for a split second as usual and then the phone's backlight keeps turning on and off and nothing happens.
I tried reflashing it with SEUS; Also no error messages and the update completed but still the same.
Is my phone bricked or is it worse?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Try reflash with THIS
Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately it didn't work.. Flashing completed without any errors again but still I have the same problem..
Any other suggestions?

I will try that, thank you.
But, isnt the repair function in PC Companion practically the the same as reflashing with SEUS?
Fixed it!
Before I started this topic I had searched the forum for my problem but did not find anything. Just a moment ago i ended up at a thread here at xda (via google) with someone who had the same problem (XperiaX10User, you tried to help him to) and "Vazelos" posted a reply with a link to the "ROOT_F3v3.rar" by jerpelea.
I only did step 1 and got it working again.
1.6
R1FA014
(1.6 feels smoother then 2.1 )
did you update it to 2.1 again or steel using 1.6?
you've could also use davincyteam website, there you can buy the original rom. it's cost me about 15 dollars to have the old useless android 1.6. this is when you are really desperate.... hope it helped. : )
I tried -everything- found, to try and get to boot into xrecovery. I saw someone fixing it by reinstalling, and first deleting xrecovery within /local/tmp/ so I did that. At the second I deleted the xrecovery folder with RootExplorer phone crashed. Now it's permanentely stuck at Sony Ericsson-logo screen.
PC Suit offers no help since I can't boot the phone it claims it's not connected.
I downloaded "Omnius for SE" but I don't understand it's usage, since I don't have backup of my phone..
Can anyone help me out please, I'm scared
try to get your phone working again with SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service), you can download it from the SE site.
I'm an android-newbie, but afaik you will loose your personal data.
Thanks! I will try that out today at work. Will post how it's going
it is working methot i have used it for my x10 mini pro

that happened with me
i used the flash tool and its back to life
you should time accurately rebooting, holding the back bottom and connecting
you'll get it after a couple of tries
goodluck
Thanks! It did wonders for me, back on track now!

when I used SEUS after bricking my phone it rebooted constantly without allowing me to break in^^ my solution to this was disconnecting the battery (which actually is pretty easy) then I could make another reflash with SEUS, and then I had a working phone
here is the situation
the x10 is dead, when trying to turn it on nothing happens(no vibration w/ black screen)
if take the battery out and put it back and try to turn it on, the phone would vibrate a bit with black screen
the programs however do recognize the phone when plugged in
well i basiclly tried three things to try to repair it
1. SEUS-which oddly tells me that the phone is up to date but the phone is still a brick
2. PCC- which gave me err
3. Flashtool- which gave me err too(i was trying with X10i 2.1.A.435 Global Generic)
when i tried to flash the phone it told me to turn on the phone then turn on Unkonwn Sources and Debugging... which obviously i can't do
i believe this would be the 1000th time someone post thread about this problem but i have to ask for some help after spending my whole sunday afternoon trying to solve the problem by myself.
i'm on the edge of giving up so this will be my last attempt if nothing new comes up
╰( ̄▽ ̄)╮ thanks to anyone who finished reading this boring thread and if there is a suggestion feel free to post it thanks again
I think we both have the same problem, I tried flashing it to the generic 1.6 fw and I was able to revive the phone. After which I updated it to 2.1 fw, now it seems to be working fine.
maybe a physical problem?
please try to flash with flashtool and post a log
Well, I also had a similar issue after updating a busybox from market on CM 6.1.3 rom.
Download the Flash tool & rom for the following link, follow the instruction & you are done my friend.

Well, you don't reinstall busybox and/or xRecovery when you are in a custom rom.
Yeh i agree, you've gone a bit too far. Private message obe of the devs, ur situation is way worse than normal bricks.

I may have posted in the wrong section and before you say there are topics covering this ive tried everything and im at my wits end!
I had a custom 2.2 ROM loaded on my Xperia for months but due to battery life issues i decided to upgrade to 2.3 (Wolf's) without doing much research.. Had i learnt that i needed to upgrade xRecovery to the latest release i wouldnt be in this dilemma.
I did the usual stuff when loading a new ROM but when loading the 2.3.3 ROM it failed.
Now when the phone starts up i get nothing but the SE logo!
Ive tried reflashing.
Ive tried using SEUS/PCC to update my phone - Which to no avail will the program recognize my phone for longer than 10 seconds.
Ive also tried SeTool2 and cant get my head around that.
If anyone has a fast easy fix for an idiot like me please point me in the right direction!
Should also add that i cant access xRecovery.
I am not trying to highjack this post but i am in the same position my phone is stuck in a loop on the black screen with the se logo.Flash tool or the se update service "sees" it for about 10 seconds not long enough to do anything. Please can anybody help?
A quick update i have sorted it i left it on se update and some how it went in to repair mode and i now have a working x10 again. The se repair didnt seem to be doing anything it just said please wait but i switched it on and it worked now i have to root it again lol
I think you should flash stock ROM 2.1 via flashtool, root and flash Xcr. Afterwards, you can follow the WOLF's instructions to flast TW ROM. Remember flash baseband .71
So i tried those things and still havn't gotten anywhere!
I cant flash the only thing i can do with flashtool is change the baseband and thats not very helpful to me atm!
I just wish there was an easy fix but apparently there isnt

Read Wolf's thread!!!
You HAVE to change the baseband, otherwise it won't work! You need baseband .71, which is included in the flashtool package he says to use...

Hello to all, I have received an xperia MINI from China and it has lots of applications on chinese, and NO google apps at all (neither android market). I know that I can remove this unwanted applications and install the desire ones, but I think it would be better to re-flash the phone with a stock rom/firmware and start from there. Do you have any recomendation? After doing this, I'll solve the overheat touch buttons problems.
THank you all for your time
yes, the best way is reflash to stock rom

checkout this thread Little Flashtool tutorial
I'm traying the wotan client but my phone won't reboot, it hangs on "Booting Phone" I have try restarting the process, but it doesn't work. Any idea how to solve this? If not... I'll try your way
I cant fix it with the wotan client, neither the flashtool (don't recognize the firmware :S) I'm sending back the cellphone to the seller... It also has the problem of the crazy touch buttons when overheat.
Please close this threat, thank you!
