Like the title says. How well does it work with a stylus? How does it feel vs just the glass? I have my prime in the MiniSuit case, is it worth putting on the screen?
I have a Skinomi skin cover and I honestly think the best part may be how much better the Prime looks. It gives it this glossy "wet" look that you see on new cars that have just been freshly waxed and polished. That aside, I would still recommend it if you're looking to use the Prime outside of a cover. I've found that the metallic spun back can scratch rather easily so the screen cover helps protect against that, and it has a nice, semi-grippy feel when you hold it.
Techskin (Wet application) is great for the back. Again, a must if you use the tablet outside of a "proper" case, to prevent the metal from getting scratched.
The front.....definitely reduces clarity some. You may get some micro-bubbles or other artifacts while installing, but the warranty will allow you to get a replacement if you screw it up (I did the first time, ended up with a couple blotches of micro-bubbles).
The protector definitely provides some more resistance while sliding the finger, not quite as smooth as without.
I plan to use it for a while, but maybe 6-12 months down the road i'll remove it when it gets a little worn and go "au natural". A back cover and a neoprene sleeve for transport is all i need.
http://www.amazon.com/Neo-Cushion-Protective-Transformer-Android-Tablets/dp/B006C64C6E
Really nice sleeve, it could use a bit of velcro to keep the fold from crinkling up. Nice front pocket for carrying the charger, or wires.
I ordered and installed the Skinomi Techskin. It went on perfectly, no bubbles, lined up precisely...
Only problem was, there were smudge marks and blemishes all over the screen! I waited a week, hoping they'd go away, but they didn't.
I eventually contacted Skinomi, who were very accommodating, and sent out another Techskin right away.
2nd skin didn't go on as easily. I have several bubbles, but what's more irritating is there's a crease/bubble along the edge of the screen, that won't go away! I even saw it while applying the screen shield, lifted that corner back up, re-sprayed the included liquid, and squeegeed it smooth, but it is still there, and very noticeable.
What I like about the Skinomi is the precise cut-out for the dock. However, if it makes my screen look filthy, it isn't working for my needs (I mainly purchased a screen protector because all of the fingerprints that show up on the Prime's screen drive me nuts (yeah, yeah.. I know)
Anyways, I've now ordered the ACaseView screen protector.
Comes in a package of three, but what attracted me to it is that the manufacturer and customers all say how thin it is. Several reviews say that they have no problems using their dock with this screen protector on, that it's thin enough not to interfere.
It's also a dry apply screen protector, not that I care that much about how it's applied, I just don't want to see bubbles or smudges on my nearly brand new Transformer Prime!
If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to report back, after installing the ACaseView shield.
I got the skinomi as well for the prime and dock. I love it. I have used body guardz for two phones and ghost armor for my wifes iPad. Of them all I have found the Skinomi to be the most glass like out of the box. They will be the one I buy going forward for all my future gear.
I prefer the wet apply versus dry. It allows you to place the skin down and easily adjust got proper placement. With the dry apply you have to keep purling back up to adjust, leaving you open for dust and stretching. The bubbles do go away. Sometimes it may take a week, or longer. Hope that helps.

I really dont want my Primes Keyboard looking like that, and even less the back of the tablet!
And yes, that was made by sweat, I wear no watch, or anything on my wrists.
Anyone happen to know if the Skinomi for the screen can cover up light Scratches that are already on the screen?

great choice on the dock and tablet combo, I've had it for a few weeks and its been great (dark wood version)
im not sure about the covering scratches though since one of the main things the companies want to accomplish are having the protectors as invisible as possible as to not hinder the use of your screen so I'm assuming they would still show. I have a protector on my screen but i have no scratches since i wouldn't even take my dock or tab out of the box before my skins arrived lol I'm sort of a freak when it comes to scratching my "toys".

I just ordered it, I hope it makes them at least harder to see hehe.
Weird thing is, my Prime never goes out without the Leather Folio case or if I need the Dock in a Neopren pouch, I just have no freaking idea how the screen got scratched! I guess the Glass used in the Prime is not so hard after all (at least compared to my other devices... 100% naked, no scratchs, more than a year of use and abuse)
Will report back how it feels after I get it... I guess a couple weeks from now

Not it is not worth putting on the screen, IMO. It can negatively impact how how well a stylus works with the Prime depending on the type of stylus since it is a little bit rubbery (but not as bad as Zagg skins).
The Skinomi skins for the back of the Prime and the keyboard dock are awesome though. They can definitely help your device from accumulating scratches and make it a lot easier to remove fingerprints from the back of the Prime.

I use a Skinomi screen protector (wet-apply). Before applying I had accidentally made light scratches to the TF201 screen. It was quite visible given certain lighting. After applying the Skinomi, (and its been about 2 months) I honestly cannot see even the slightest bit of the scratches as if they disappeared. I assume the same thing happens with any screen protector though.

Awesome, that's what I was expecting. There a couple of scratches that can only be seen under the right angle with the right lighting.
Can't wait for the full Skinomi to arrive @[email protected]
I think bestskinsever has a better cutout for the back. And they even carry the dock, and compatible skins now.
I'm using a skinomi compatible screen protector, as that was the only one available at the time, coupled with the back from a bestskinsever.
The bestskinsever skin actually covers the full back, doesnt have a cutout for the Asus logo, and none of the little side pieces, as they are actually a part of the back.
If you look at the renderings on both sites you will see what i mean.
My dark woodgrain skinomi is supposed to arrive today or tomorrow. Can't wait!
Skinomi arrived today...but they sent me the wrong one. Got brushed aluminum instead of dark wood grain .
On the up side, when I e-mailed them they got back to me within minutes to apologize and say they were sending out the correct one.

Yes, they both offer compatible skins, but the BestSkinsEver version has a better back and no side pieces.
When you get the full skin from skinomi you have the screen, the back, and what.. 4 or 5 side pieces.
The BSE has front and back, and the back covers what all those little side pieces cover, plus the asus logo isn't cut out.
I like to use the full back, and a compatible screen protector. Fits in the dock without leaving marks or tearing them up and the full back is protected.

"better" in your opinion, its just a preference. there isn't any real difference that makes one better than the other.

I love my Skinomi Carbon Fiber back cover. It was easy to apply. There are others that don't have the small strips that go around the sides of the tablet but if you take your time and use light heat you can get these pieces on nicely and they look great.
I've yet to put the screen protector that came with my kit on because I'm never satisfied with the results that I've had on other devices. I'm just running it naked.

I have a question for all of you who are using shields for our device, from your experience which one is the best?
I mean the most scratch resistant but whitout affecting the sensibility of the touch screen.
I have these 3 models in mind:
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/htc-touch-pro-2-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php - Zagg's invisible shield which is the most expensive
http://www.bodyguardz.com/content/accessories/26---2249.htm - Bodyguardz which is the same price as Zagg's but offers 2 sets
http://www.gadgetshieldz.com/att-ti...nvisible-shields-screen-protectors-skins.html - the cheapest one
May help
I am sorry but I personally have no experience with Bodyguardz what-so-ever. I have used an invisible shield on an iPhone, but it was a very short time. However, I have a GadgetShieldz installed on my Tilt 2 and had one on two of my Fuze's. I think for the price the GadgetShieldz has been a great investment, but do be warned with any of these the screen (I imagine the other two are like this) will have a "drag". With the stock screen protect your finger fluidly slides around. With the GadgetShieldz I do tend to apply more pressure because my skin drags with the surface of the shield, but my screen is still very responsive and works just as it did without. I use the Swype keyboard for my input method and once I adjust to the shield it was like normal. Using the stylus is a bit harder because you cannot simply drag it, but if you learn the right amount of pressure needed this is not an issue.
The back is still kind of slick but better than stock, and I feel less worried now setting my phone down not so scared that it will scratch up that shiny back, ya know!
At 6.99 I recommend the product! There was a 15% off code on my thread also.
Edit: Please check this thread there is a 15% and 20% code posted! Enjoy!
I know about the discount, I posted the 20% one
But the main problem is that is only made for carriers branded phones and not for the unbranded european T7373 which I have
Zagg had 50% off EVERYTHING about a week ago, but I decided I don't need the shield since it's just FRONT & BACK.
So what more did you wanted if full body coverage is not enough? If you check the photo you'll see that on the back shield it has also side protection, at least that's what I understand http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/htc-touch-pro-2-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I saw that promotion on Zagg but from what I read the invisible shield somehow makes the tocuh screen harder to use, it tends to be more rubberish
I have not tried Bodyguardz either but I've tried Invisiblesheild on many of my phones and currently have the Gadgetshieldz on my Tilt 2. At the moment I have the Invisiblesheild on my Fuze. I was just holding both phones and trying to feel the difference between the two. To be quite honest the only difference I've noticed is the the Invisiblesheild is a little more "grippy" than the Gadgetshieldz. Other than that there is not much of a difference.
The Gadgetsheildz was less than $6 (with shipping) while the Invisiblesheild was almost $30. I would go with a couple of Gadgetshieldz.

Don't get the Invisiblesheild!
I also purchased the Invisiblesheild for the Tilt2 as well, which came in yesterday. I noticed that the Invisiblesheild DOES NOT provide protection for the front sides. The Gadgetsheildz does. This is pathetic. It costs almost 5 times as much and it doesn't cover some of the most easily damaged areas? Eff that!
Seriously, do yourself a favor and go with the gadgetsheldz, I'm going to complain to Invisiblesheilds.
Best of both worlds
I have found the option that is working best for me
I am using phantom skinz for full body and reuseable screen protector for the screen.
I was planning to put phantom skinz on the screen as well, but once i applied it on the back cover i didn't want to have the draggy feeling on the screen so i went with stock screen protector. I also got reusable PET screen protectors like the Boxwave ones for smooth screen feel.
The other think that i was worried about phantom skinz(and invisible shields, bodyguradz etc) is removing it from the delicate resistive tp2 screen.
So for me phantom skin for body + PET screen protector for screen works out to be perfect.
Hope this helps
Thanks deeken for the pictures, it looks really nice with the GadgetShieldz, I'm definetly going to buy 2 of these in case I don't get it wright from the first attempt, but that would still be chaper than anything else, also using the 20% coupon.
The only problem is they release a shield for the standard model which I have
I declare myself satisfied and convinced with GadgetShieldz.
Zagg
Been using zag product from every new device i buy. 3 Reason why
1)life time warranty
2)The case can take a beating and never show that it been threw a lot. had my zagg shield on since i bought my device back in October and people alway say to me
"you should get a case for this phone before it get scratches up did you just get it?"(They cant notice the protective plastic).
3)It's worth the money, buying cheap plastic protective for your phone over and over again going to add up to the price of 1 zagg case.
I see alot of people saying that the zagg do not cover your entire phone. All i have to say is what are you talking about??

It does provide protection for the front side. My whole T-mobile touch pro 2 cover with the shield. I guess u can't see the cut out that they made when u receive it or you probably just purchase the back protection not the the full protection.

There is NO SIDE PROTECTION for the AT&T Tilt 2. I have this thing in my hand and I can tell you for a fact that they skimped out for the Tilt 2. The cutout is only 3 pieces. One for the front and 2 for the back. Nothing for the sides. I called them on Thursday and complained about this. They customer service rep said he will send an email to the developers to see why they neglected to provide coverage for the sides.
As I stated in my earlier posts I have been using Invisiblesheilds for several of my devices. They are expensive and not worth the money in my opinion. As far as lifetime warranty, you could get 3 gadgetsheildz (which is almost 1/2 the price of one Invisiblesheild) which should last you the life of the phone.
there is no side protection for the verizon touch pro2 either. zagg stated that some people complained about issues removing it when it covered the sides or something like that? so they cut off the surround protection on a lot of the american versions (if not all of them)
i got the bestskinsever.com shield for my sprint touch pro 2 and here are my comments:
- the back cover shield is very nicely done. it covers it edge to edge and has cutouts for all mic holes and the big section of speaker holes in the middle.
- the front pieces are much more problematic and i'm not sure what they were thinking.
the front comes in four pieces plus the screen. I didn't use the screen part so can't comment on that.
the top piece (above the screen) look like it is cut to cover the front surface of the top frame since it is shaped to fit exactly around the curve of the screen. however, it is just a bit longer than necessary so they hang like 1mm over the edge if you put it right up against the edge of the screen. this overhang is too little to stay in place if you bend it down onto the side. i ended up trying a few different positions and ended up shifting it down further onto the side, just above the power button (there is no cutout for the button), but this leaves a gap between the screen and the shield on the front and most of the top is left uncovered except for the sliver between the button and the edge.
the bottom piece has similar problems. you can tell that they only want you to have a slight 2mm overhang over the edge because there is a cutout for the mic right there which would not reach the mic if you placed it flush with the screen. again, there is an exposed gap between the screen and shield and also of the bottom side of the phone.
there are two long, narrow rectangular pieces for the sides. again, they are not wide enough to fully cover the side frame area. if put flush to the screen, they leave a lot of side exposed. i ended up putting it somewhat in the middle. i also had problems positioning them to fit properly between the top and bottom pieces because they are too narrow to stay down when using water. i had to do them over and over and ended up trimming the ends a bit with scissors, but still ended up with some gaps between the top and bottom.
there is really no protection on the corners of the phone on the front side, which is really the most critical for protecting against drops. the tiny bit of overhang on the front pieces are too small to stay down when using the soap and water application method so i had to peel them and start over several times using no water, so they are already not sticking well and are coming off in the corners. the multiple pieces that are hard to position exactly flush with each other and the fact that they do not fit to the edges of the front seams add many more "edges" where there should be none and this really ruins the smooth tactile feel of the phone.
so, i like the back but the design of the front pieces is bad. I'll be providing feedback to them and hopefully they can revise their design.
I haven't tried the others, but am fairly happy with the BodyGuardz. The fit on the Tilt2 is excellent. I recently removed the BodyGuardz screen protector and put on a non-glare screen protector from BoxWave. I didn't find the "rubbery" feel of the BodyGuardz was a problem at all for using the touch screen, I just wanted a less glossy screen.
After two months, the side pieces (that cover the chrome bezel on my Tilt2) are starting to come loose at the corners, and I trim them a little bit as they do so. It's probably due to carrying the phone in my pocket most of the time. I'd like to get a Seidio spring clip holster, but it looks like the one they're currently selling is for the CDMA Rhodiums.
I still have the second set of BodyGuardz protectors, I'll probably wait until I find a good holster and then put them on.
ordered my Zagg Full body 2 days ago, was 35% Off
Got one from the only thread I could find on screen protectors here on XDA. It was really bad. It did not fit perfectly no matter how many times I tried to do it. No matter how you place it one side will be a little too long (just a tad) so you have to actually manually cut the screen protector making it less attractive and not giving it as rounded edges as one out of a box.
Has anyone gotten a good screen protector for their Transformer yet?
I get all my screen protectors and skinz from Phantom Skinz. The one for the TF is very good and fits just right. Once you place it on there and the bubbles have dissipated there is still a clear protective cap sheet that you pull off. Once you do that you can't even tell that it's there. The glass of the TF is a major fingerprint magnet and with this skin they wipe right off. Also there isn't any orange peel effect with the Phantom Skinz. You also might consider the Chromatics to give it a sleek look to it. I bought the carbon fiber white and it looks siiik.
I have an SGP and it is awesome.

The one thing I hated about the TF101 is how badly it attracts smudges and how much glare it has. ^ That thing did the trick, plus it makes it easier to glide my finger somehow.

I bought an SGP Ultra Fine (matte) and the cut is as great as it is on the other devices i've bought it for (evo and epic)
Might be a little bit on the pricey side compared to some of the other offerings but i much prefer hard dry apply screen protectors over the soft wet apply ones, or even soft dry apply ones
I read on the forums sometimes ago that there was some sort of chemical/cleaner that you could apply on the transformer's screen and it would greatly reduce fingerprints (but the screen would still be glossy). Anyone recall what I'm talking about?

I have been using the Clear Freak screen protector and I am very happy with it. It is the anti reflective cover.
Here are some shots of the SGP Ultra Fine (matte) installed on my TF. The fitment is just about perfect with a tiny gap on the right side as i've installed it, could have made it even less noticeable by moving it towards the right a bit more, as it is right now its sitting right up against the left edge.
I tried the skinomi protector but as i am a flicker the grippy surface for a lot of the soft type screen protectors left a lot of streaks from my fingers in addition to making it hard to flick. The texture on this is extremely fine making the surface very smooth. The last shot was my best attempt at illustrating the slight loss of clarity you get with this and any kind of matte screen protector. It is noticeable but over time i got used to it.

Where did you get it installed at?
Hi, I've had good success with the great shield anti-glare screen protector. For $13 (with shipping) you get 3 of them.
The matte finish is very fine, and it doesn't distort your colours as much as others that I've used. I had an official Nook Color for my Nook Color (when I had it), and the quality was comparable.
The only issue is that the measurements for the height of this protector are precisely the same as the screen, which makes it impossible to align correctly. If it's not aligned correctly, you'll get bubbles on the edges, or some lift off. I have only one spot, which is where the camera is, however, I have a RooCase that covers it up, so I can't see it flaw.
Other than that, it's a great price and it's very good.

I got my TF from somebody used and they had put a Zagg on it. The receipt was still in the box - $30. And he totally screwed it up. Several bubbles (a couple of large ones) and terrible orange peel. I really can't stand the Zagg protectors. Not only do you risk water damage (very small risk if you have common sense, I know - but not all Best Buy installers really have that much care for your device) but they are fairly "sticky" because of the rubbery finish on them. I got a cheap protector for my Evo on Ebay over a year ago and it's still perfect, that's what I'll be shopping for now for my TF.
IMHO, the only use of a protector on Gorilla Glass is for smudge/fingerprint resistance. The high-end protector market is raking in a lot of unnecessary money. Totally just my opinion, of course.
I just received and installed my SGP UltraFine anti-glare protetor on my Transformer... Very nice. Mild pixelation effection on white screens, but the glare and fingerprints are reduced greatly. Even when the screen does get some marks on it, wiping with a dry cloth cleans it up very easily.
Plus, it allows your finger to slide across the screen better than the naked glass does. Big improvement!
FYI - I originally bought (3) $5.99 anti-glare protectors on Ebay and they were actually too big - the edges wouldn't stick properly. It was a total waste of time and money. The SGP went on perfectly the first time. It was easy to work out any bubbles.... Great product. Granted, not cheap at $25 each, but well worth it in saved frustration with the cheap ones!

I have the sgp anti glare works great finger prints. But it does hurt the picture quality

Interesting, I actually think it improves overall picture quaity (with the reduced glare). The only time I notice it is when I'm on a screen with a white background -- even then, it's not too bad and you get used to it pretty quick.

Thanks guys, I need a good anti-glare screen protector. This helps alot!
The Carbon fiber backing is decent, but the screen protector is garbage. One of the corners looks like it was hand cut, and the whole thing doesn't fit properly. If the protector is aligned properly to the camera and light sensor, the whole thing is shifted too far to the left, leaving about 5mm uncovered on the right, and the protector hanging over the left side of the tablet.

really? you can't even tell that mine has the skinomi screen protector installed. There's a 1mm gap on left and .5mm gap on right side. Bottom and top are almost perfect.

I will never buy another Skinomi screen protector, they're like memory foam... every time you touch the screen even lightly, it leaves a permanent imprint. They're terrible...

I just got mine, and for the most part it looks great. The corner pieces, however, weren't angled quite right so they ended up being wrinkled. I sent them an email to see if they can send me out some replacements. The cover still has a bunch of bubbles in it, but I know that takes a couple days to fully work out. I have one on my OG Transformer and it looks great.

you're supposed to install the corners with a blow dryer or heat gun. It's the only way to make it fit perfectly or else you have wrinkles. It's in the instructions video
Tried that, no dice. I'm missing pieces anyways. Hopefully they'll send out new ones.
Just installed mines. Not happy with it. Carbon fiber skin was already loose when I received the package. As others mentioned before, some areas are not cut out properly. Definitely not worth the money.
Going to wait a few more days to see how the screen protector holds up but not going to expect much.
It fits with the dock but I am not sure how much can the carbon fiber skin can take.
Hope SGP have something soon.
Again they have the best customer service and will send you more until you are satisfied!

Installed the carbon fiber skin and tech skin screen protector today. I't came out OK....
The Carbon fiber main piece on the back cover went on *slightly* skewed- did not notice until I put the trimmings on, and once the skin had stuck onto the metal backing, I was not gonna try and peel it back off- the adhesive is rather tough once it sticks onto the backplate. I used a hair Dryer on hot setting to soften the skin on the corners- they melted like jello and fit into the corners perfectly.
All, and all I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out... other than the slight skew all is well.
As for the screen protector, I drenched both sides with the solution and it went down like butter. No micro bubbles and it is only 1 hour after the install... there is still some solution underneath the skin, but I think it will clear up over a day or so. The alignment of the skin and the cutouts for the camera lined up without issue.
There is also what looks like a hairline scratch on the skin from when using the squeegee to remove the bubbles. You can see it when you look on an angle-
The website says the skin is self healing... Does anyone know if this will go away??
Edit: after some time I now see air bubbles and some streaks under the screen protector- It's not looking good at all- I hope all this will go away like they say within 3 days or I may have to remove it.

Ok, I just wanted to update the above post for others that are considering the Skinomi- 2 days later, it is better, but some imperfections remain.
Be patient... It will look really bad at first, and i hope screen will completely clear up over time. I kept mine turned off for 6 hours after applying. Good Luck to others!
I bought the dry screen protector and skin. Only installed the screen protector so far. It was hard to get just right because you don't get the sliding motion you get with wet. But I started at the top right corner, then laided enough to go to the bottom right, then peeled wax paper to lay across the screen. I was scared at first because I had a lot of bubbles. I use the card to get most of the bubbles out I could then said F It. Been one day so far and most (90%) of the bubbles are gone! I'm impressed. I see 2 spots where lint got under the screen but they are on the bezel. Camera and light sensor hole lined-up OK (a little off-centered to the left of hole but not obstructed by the protector at all.) Oh it's not a fingerprint magnet. May have them send ma another to try again.
Will try skin tonight

i thought i was the only one whom didnt like the screen protector.
but i hated the screen protector as so many bubbles never went away and you can feel the screen protector. (i did wait 3 days and only 5% of the bubbles went away)
the carbon cover does look good though, but the corners never stuck and are wrinkled. but they dont bother me.

I literally used the entire bottle of spray solution on the front screen protector before I applied it while it took me an hour lol or so to shimmy out the liquid solution bubbles and air pockets. Bubbles disappeared the next two days. I applied light heat gun usage over the corners as they melted in to place. PITA to do though

Hey guys, I have been looking for a case for my prime for around two weeks, I want the case to be thin and not add too much bulk to the tablet.
I really like the Poetic Hardback case because it's thin and doesn't cover up the bezel, but I've read that the clips could scratch the tablet itself.
If you have a case idea for me I would greatly appreciate the recommendations.
Thanks,
This question has been asked a million times, but personally I like the Sikai Microfiber Case. It is super thin, light, comfortable to hold and looks professional.

Some people don't like that it has material over the bezel, and at first I was skeptical however it really does make your grip more secure on the Prime compared to bare glass. And while the edges might look sharp they are actually very soft.
I concur on the Sikai Microfiber Case. Very thin and light (only 5.5 ounces), yet protects the case and screen well. I don't particularly care for leather cases, and the microfiber is smooth yet provides good grip.
I also have the Poetic, and have not noticed it scratching the tablet, although it is a bit of a tight fit into sliding it under the clips. One complaint about the Poetic is that after a while the leather loosened up, so that when you placed it in the angled position the tablet slipped out of the grooves in the stand (very annoying). Poetic weighs in at 9.5 ounces.
The Caseen Skinny case is worth considering if you like a leather case. Weighs in at 10 ounces, and provides very good protection and allows landscape or portrait angled stand. One complaint is that the stylus / pen strap is too tight, and difficult to get the stylus in.
I have used the ACASE since early January and love it. It is leather, fitted well and looks great. I believe I paid about $13 for it on ebay.
I just got the Sikai microfiber and I love it.

I also have the Sikai microfiber case and prefer it over my other case. It is light, fits well, looks good and functions the way I want it,
I use a not so fancy Roocase. It is both a leather skin for the tablet and allows for it to be propped up, like an easel. The dual function aspect adds some thickness but personally, I don't find it an issue.
Do they have any other colors of that sikai case? Yours looks a little amethyst grayish but all I could find was black. Also does anyone not from china sell this thing? I'm trying to get it a little faster than 20 business days hahaha

As far as I know it only comes in one colour. The black which is kind of greyish.
I can't help you with an alternate seller. I had to wait awhile for my case to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

Also, I don't remember mine taking 20 business days to show up. It was closer to 2 weeks.
A reseller has them on Amazon, and it says that they ship from California, so it might be a little faster.

Not easily, as the little stylus holder is sewn into the lip of the case and then heat-sealed over. I guess you could cut it off with sharp scissors or a knife however why would you want to do that? It is actually quite handy if you ever use a stylus and when there is no stylus there is isn't noticeable since it lays flat against the edge of the case.

The Prime actually does have a magnetic switch that can turn the Prime off by passing a magnet over it. It is just to the right of the camera, and down about an inch, behind the screen. However this magnetic switch is only enabled when the Prime is docked with its keyboard.
I have been using this case for about a month and a half now, and it provides great protection for the Prime, looks modern and stylish and feels comfortable to hold. Honestly I am not sure what else you would want from a case
just got the Sikai Microfiber Case in the mail today. I like it. It is certainly nice. But what I am not too excited over is the way that the prime is upside down when you use the case as a stand...Not crazy about that..But otherwise, is very nice..

Yeah I did think the was a bot odd at first, but it makes sense now. The only thing upside down really is the volume rocker. I never use it in this arrangement anyway.
If I want it stood up for watching videos etc, I stand it up the other way round, it like this -
(excuse the ipad photo and wrong case, but you get my point)
I got one of those leather thin cases, they are ok, but I just didn't like the feel of it, and the Prime just did not feel as awesome as using it naked.
So I ended up getting a Full Body Skinomi (Tablet + Dock) and the Asus Transleve and ohboy I'm happy with it.

Been using this setup for some time now and I doubt ill use again my leather case ^^

I have a full body Skinomi skin on my Prime as well:
Sadly the Skinomi skin doesn't make the Prime more comfortable to hold, the sharp edges of the Prime still dig into your hands when you hold it for a while. Also the Skinomi skin, while excellent protection from scratches doesn't protect against drops at all.
I'm looking for the best screen protector. Most important is functionality, so the least amount of stylus/touch sensitivity reduction.
I've tried the armorsuit military shield that uses liquid applicator and it causes too much friction and sensitivity reduction.
I'm now looking at the various generic film protectors and the 1 glass protectors linked below

Glass protectors offer the best damage protection. I'm curious as to the performance with this shield.
Has anyone tried it?
I have, and the screen protector does not seem to affect stylus or touch functionality in any way

Glass is always incredible, and this one is no exception. Quality and packaging is great. I like the slight curves on the edges of the protector, makes it feel nice to the touch. I showed off my tablet to family to check it out, and until I told them it had a screen protector on, they couldn't tell what I'd added to it LOL.
I ordered the intelliARMOR intelliGLASS HD for mine. It's arrived however still waiting on my tablet to return from Nvidia (FedEx says Tuesday!) so it can try it on lol
Hoping it doesn't interfere with the case.

Coincidentally I RMA'd my Shield Tablet last Monday for a broken LCD beneath the glass. Crack occurred for no particular reason, I had never dropped it. All I recall is the night before it got quite hot. Don't think it's related to the battery issue but I'm convinced the heat of it had something to do with the crack. They accepted and my replacement was sent out yesterday due delivery Tuesday. I'm assuming it'll be a model with the unaffected battery else I'll have to RMA again...!

That's good to hear, mine was an advanced RMA so I had it in 2 days and sent the original back without any issues. My original one was almost non functional after downgrading from the original 3.0 back to 2.2.1 and no matter how many times I flashed the stock image or a different ROM it stuttered and froze. They suspected there might have been hardware damage from the OTA 3.0 somewhere in the CPU/GPU which doesn't make sense and they never gave me an answer on what was wrong. I'm still glad this one is working better, in fact I'm typing this reply on it.
Applied the IntelliGlass by IntelliArmor to my Shield today. Here's my impressions and mini-review.
The protector comes well packaged in a book style packaging. You get everything you'll need inside to make applying the protector a breeze. Includes:
- protector
- dust removal sheet
- alcohol wipe
- lint free cloth
- smudger
Simply cleaned the screen with the wipe, applied the dust removal sheet several times and then began peeling off the backing and lining up the glass protector. My first hit was slightly off, enough to irritate me anyway! So had to gently prise it off and re-seat it. Second hit was perfect. The bubbles smoothed out easily with my thumb pressure.
I've had IntelliArmor products before and as with all glass protection I've owned in the past, they are the ultimate screen protection and offer so much more then plastic ones. The best advantage for me though is that your finger feels like its on the actual screen as plastic protectors can give differing feeling under the finger.
I've been unlucky enough to drop my phone before onto a hard surface and if it were not protected by a glass screen protector, I'm confident the screen would have shattered. Instead the screen was fine below the shattered and chipped glass protector. So I've had first hand experience that glass protectors do the job. I've no reason to believe any different of this product, without me chucking my Shield on the floor - which I won't do for a review!
The glass is not too thick and plays nicely with the Official Nvidia case which is an added bonus as not all glass protectors play well with flip style cases. Fortunately this one does.
My only gripe at the moment is when swipe typing. It currently seems a bit hindered by the glass protector. However, I need more time with it as I'm not 100% convinced it has all to do with the protector.
If you're in the market for a Shield screen protector, then I highly recommend the IntelliGlass. Worth the extra £'s in my humble opinion.

I'm glad to see its working well for you. I wouldn't use my tablet without one know how clumsy I can be.

Ah! Ok no problem.
No I've not experienced any dust gathering underneath the edges. It's a pretty good seal once it's on.
