Are there any ICS kernels with overclocking support and custom CPU governors, IO schedulers, etc available yet?
Nope. Waiting for the offical ics to release by Samsung or AT&T whatever.

Technically Not waiting on official release.
Waiting on source code to be released, which most likely won't be till after the official release, but still, it's not the ics update release we need. It's source code.

The nexus s uses the same processor?
I still don't know why

Newer batch of processors? Building Materials? Android 2.3? The fact that their kernel is available?
Could be anything really.
Its the fact that source code is available for nexus users and devs to modify to make better performing overclock kernels, once we get the source code for the Vibrant's 2.2 kernels we will see much improved overclock kernels
On the new ics roms

In order to get oc/uc one would have to build / edit the kernel source code. But since we have a leak and not an official release that source code is not available. I would give us no chance of seeing a oc kernel before ics is actually released. Even then we might not get the entire source.
Over 10000!!! You bet I am.
Hi. This thread is for kernel CM9 source code request. Other devs can mod it and decrease battery drain because CM9's battery drain is very high. Kernel SC doesn't update since 2 months.
Other possible request is that kernel CM9 will support undervolt.
Please if you would like the requests posted here, post in this thread and we will try to get it.
This is pointless, their source is readily available from their github

Don't update since 2 months ago. Enter to the kernel folder and see it.
The code is updated, the changelog isn't.
Not every part will show newer....
Many parts will show as months old, however if you sync the source you will get the latest code.

Only cpu.c has changed 6 days ago. And the age change auto if they update it.
EDIT: If I download SC, it will be updated?
If you sync the source tree yes

Ok. Sorry. I only saw github and I don't download SC. And...yes, SC are updated if I download it. So that...the only request now is undervolt for CM9 .
Thanks!
I saw a small video regarding one of the developers talking about Linaro....will it be used on the S3. Merged in to CM9 builds perhaps when they arrive on the S3...?

i was wondering almost the same thing: will it allow the devs to develop smaller code? as speed is not an issue...
Looks interesting

I want to try to compile it with Linaro but there's some porting to the code to be done, right now it's not working on the newer toolchains.
I thought it was more than just the kernel, like the aosp libs source were modified to be able to be built with Linaro. Then those changes get merged into CM, which can then be built with Linaro, and hopefully we all get to use it

The best of luck Andrei. Really hope you get It to work.
If you do get it working, you will have an immensely popular and cutting edge kernel.

Is there a CM10 AOKP kernel with OC support and additional governors for our Note out there yet? I know AT&T and T-Mo SGS2 and SGS3 have those kernels already...
No

Give it time oc will come after stability, first stableness, then oc. But honestly why oc, my GNote is fast enough, i can't keep up now. Imho

Wasnt rushing anything, just asked if one already exists, since I couldnt find a standalone kernel. Would seem logical for CM10 AOKP kernel to be out, given that both AT&T SGS2, SGS3 already have it and it least 2 other CM10 based roms have either h0tkernel or flapjaxx kernel integrated and both support overclocking. Imho, DAGr8 did a great job and this rom is stable plenty enough and stability should have nothing to do with custom kernel availability
