who controls the battery charging? Kernel? I noticed that after changing the kernel of my cell phone how to charge the battery changed as well. Prior was with 4200mV linear range is now as if by turning the battery charging.

When I was on Bi-winning v3, my fully charged battery was ~4240mV, as indicated by Spare Parts app. I've just changed to MIUI lithium and it is only 4191mV when fully charged while plugged in and the voltage drops suddenly to ~4150mV when unplugged. The battery life is still reasonable (76% after 17h of light use). Just very curious, is spare parts in MIUI measuring the voltage differently or is the calibration off? I've tried wiping battery stats and using the battery calibration app but it's still the same. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!
Hi, I'm having a problem while charging because the phone is reading a battery low temperature, my question is if there is a way to change or simulate a battery temperature an see if the phone charge, actual temp is -20C.
thanks
I've started the habit of waiting for the battery in my phone to reach about 5 to 10 % before switching out the battery for the one I've charged in the cradle. This is all fine and dandy, but recently I've been unable to charge my phone just by plugging it in normally. I'll get notifications in the the battery indicator that it's charging and the quick charging notification in the drop down. However in the battery status menu in the settings it will say not charging. I'm using the stock quick charger and the stock cable to charge both my phone and the battery, though it only works in the cradle charger. I don't know if switching the battery relatively frequently is causing this problem and I just need to discharge this battery fully while in the phone as perhaps the phone is indicating a higher battery percentage then what is true. Either way I was wondering if anyone has either delt with this issue or has any ideas on what I should try to remedy this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I have a Samsung tablet TAB 4 – SM-T530 which shows problem when charging: charging paused, battery temperature too low.
Using an app, I found out the battery temperature is shown constantly as -20°C, even when there is not charger plugged.
Do you know where the problem might be?
Do you know where the battery temperature sensor is located?
Do you know if the battery temperature can be overwritten in order to allow the charging?
One blue wire coming from the battery to the motherboard shows 0V constantly, the other blue wire 0.4V
Thank you in advance!
I have problem with my battery in Huawei Y6ii when I recovered my phone to stock rom
When battery have 94-96% battery has over 4.3v (4.326v) and when battery has 40% has only 3.6v
When I charge my battery to 100% my phone can explode or when 2% can corrupt?
Does calibration may battery explode my Y6II?
I can't check battery voltage with multimeter beacuse battery is glued to the housing
the values you getting may not be correct
normally battery it self have over/under voltage , over current protection and the device also have the same things
so there is nothing to worry about
And when I charge battery with 40% charge module has 48°C on charge temperature sensor and housing is very hot
