Hi,
I have a Samsung tablet TAB 4 – SM-T530 which shows problem when charging: charging paused, battery temperature too low.
Using an app, I found out the battery temperature is shown constantly as -20°C, even when there is not charger plugged.
Do you know where the problem might be?
Do you know where the battery temperature sensor is located?
Do you know if the battery temperature can be overwritten in order to allow the charging?
One blue wire coming from the battery to the motherboard shows 0V constantly, the other blue wire 0.4V
Thank you in advance!

who controls the battery charging? Kernel? I noticed that after changing the kernel of my cell phone how to charge the battery changed as well. Prior was with 4200mV linear range is now as if by turning the battery charging.

hi all,
anyone knows if there is an app or a way to check what is the voltage being pumped into the s2 during charging?
i am not referring to the voltage measured on the battery as i understand that is the voltage from the battery to the phone

With a supported kernel, CurrentWidget will.
Battery Version 1.0.9
That's the name of an application i am using: it shows many numbers about your battery, and makes estimations about how much time left for it to drain, and how much time is left using a specific activity till it's drained.
The application has a standard battery voltage meter, and it changes if you plug/unplug the charger, so maybe you can calculate the difference? Does it work that way?
hi bro
currentwidget can check the voltage being pumped out from wall charger to the phone?
Hi,
Does any one know how to fool a tablet that there is a battery connected? My current configuration is: 3,8V DC regulator instead of internal battery and a 10k ohm resistor between GND and BSI pin to simulate temperature. The device is starting, but battery shows 10% and is going slowly down, till it gets 0% and device is turning off.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I'm trying to charge my phone but I'm getting an error "charging paused, battery temperature too low", I replaced the charging port but still same error, wireless charge is giving same error.
Any help
Maybe the battery or the cable connected to the battery to the motherboard is loose.

I replaced the battery and the charging port but still the same issue, I noticed that on TWRP the temperature of the CPU is fine but on the system is -20C, any suggestion
is there any way to charge the battery outside the phone?
is there any way to change battery temperature on system, so that way maybe the phone will charge
I'm interested on this one... I know its old but just happened to me. Did anybody fin a way around this? Maybe a battery temperature spoof app?
Hi, I'm having a problem while charging because the phone is reading a battery low temperature, my question is if there is a way to change or simulate a battery temperature an see if the phone charge, actual temp is -20C.
thanks
