I disconnected the charger pulled out the battery and tried it again, but still nothing happened. when I connect it to the charger again all that happens is the LED starts flickering orange light.
i'm sorry if my english is bad
Please help me !
Steven

Sounds bad. Take it in for repair or warranty if its still under one. Unless someone here have a way to jump start it...
You may try to leave the battery out for an hour and try on it again. After you charge the battery of course.

i just left the battery out for the night, didn't work.
i'm going to check if i got waranty left
Thanks for the reply

I do have warranty left, but i'm worried because I had a custom rom running, and if they find out i will have to pay 40 euros just to get it back

Yea, best choice is to take into warranty if you haven't unlocked bootloader or anything. I really hope you get through your situation, I was scared to death when I though my phone wasn't turning on, but luckily it worked soon enough.
Sadly, If you have rooted your phone, you may have voided your warranty. This applies in Australia (not sure in your country).
If you have to pay 40 euros for it to be repaired, might as well, unless your phone magically started working like mines o-O
Best of Luck!

just a minute ago it started working again, out of nowhere it turned on! Thanks for the replies!!

my phone cant start

hi
when i push the power button,my phone just make a vibrate and not anything else and cant start!
i used update service and repaired the phone but it did not work!!( Although its says that the firmware successfully installed )
even i used flash tools and test other firmware but nothing happend
still the phone cant start, just vibrate!!
sry for my bad english
any solution to fix this problem?
It seems you did the right things to try getting it started but its not working out for you. I think you have to go to a repair centre to let the phone checked by se.
I assume you made sure the battery was not completely empty and you were patient, because after flashing it takes a few minutes before the phone starts up the first time.
Therefore I think there is another problem with your phone, just being unlucky I guess...

Bricked My Phone?

Last night I was able to root my phone flashed the recovery mod and used the overclocked kernel that was listed in the dev forums for my phone. The phone was running fine until I went to bed, this morning I had woke up and went to look at my phone and it was off. Thinking the battery died while I left it unplugged all night I found meh.. might be the reason. Let the phone charge while I was in the shower for about 15 minutes got out and tried to turn the phone on and unable to get a response. Tried to boot the phone to Odin mode with no luck also tried getting my computer to pick up the device with no luck at all. Few questions, is my phone bricked? If so I've only had the phone for 15 days do you think I would have any luck getting the phone replaced at a store? and is there anyway that they would be able to tell that I had rooted my phone flashed recovery and installed a kernel if I cant even get the phone to respond in any way shape or form? Any advice you have or situations where you where in the same boat would be a great help. Thanks again.

Indeed sir, removed the battery let it sit for a minute or two...
According to your post...You are bricked
Samething happend to me..just few days ago but my phone was out of warranty...so I need to pay for ...a board change (I9100) tht was the solution for me not for uh
Now as you said ...if you are fully bricked and you just bought the phone 15 days ago ...then you have still 99.9% chances that they will replace your main board
....
Last year when I bought my phone S2...after some time when I came hyr on xda rooted my phone ...once I bricked ...so I went to samsung care ...and made a story...and bang they taken my phone got my job sheet ...and after 4 days got my phone they changed my main board...
Main topic...they can't check whtr you are rooted...or not if you are bricked fully...so just visit samsung care...and make a fake story...all set just sit back for few days ...

As I had mentioned this morning I woke up and plugged my phone in for a good 15-20 minutes while I took a shower. There after when I looked at my phone it didn't show as if it was even charging most of the time it will at least show a charging logo. I let the phone sit plugged in for about 45 minutes and tried to soft reboot the phone holding volume and power still nothing came of it. Had taken the battery from the phone and put it back in with the same process to no success. I had removed the SIM Card from the phone replaced it back in the device and as soon as I plugged in the phone it showed the phone was charging. From that point I was able to reboot the phone with no issues.
I was worried due to the fact I had flashed the kernel last night and was toying with the settings given in the stweek that came after I flashed the recovery and kernel using the recovery options on reboot. Really don't have an idea as to why I had the issue that I had. But at the end of the day I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for a replacement.

Phone got hard bricked(?)

So I got my phone yesterday. It was running on 4.1.1 iirc(not sure, it was a version of JB though), device told me it needed an update but I didn't have the time to update.
Now today, as I'm returning home I'm playing a game when the phone gets really hot. Now I don't mean normal warm, almost unbearable to touch the bottom third of the phone for longer than a couple of seconds.
I closed all the apps and let the phone rest to cool down. Couple minutes later I want to turn the screen on to check the time and it just doesn't respond. I remove the battery, try turning it back on, no response.
I tried charging it, thinking the battery might have suddenly died(even though it was at 20%) but the red charging light doesn't even show up. I'm not sure whether it's the sudden death issue or something else.
Will I be able to fix this by myself, or will I have to get the phone to a service center? I just got it so naturally I don't want to lose it, but I've read that even a usb jib won't get a device like this in download mode.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Phone is normal international version, I didn't root, using stock rom. Basically I didn't do anything except install apps and set up some accounts. The phone doesn't react to the vol down+menu+power combination, no matter in which order I hold the buttons.
Sudden death, Samsung will change the motherboard for free
Thanks. Any idea on how long it might take to get the phone back? Will I have to bring it to the store where I got it(not a Samsung service center) or send it to Samsung?
Take it to store. The repair should last a few weeks or so.

[SOLVED] HOX+ tragic death?

Hey guys, I have a really big problem here and I thought some of you might know what I could do. Search didn't find me anything.
So here's the situation: I've been running a rooted HOX+ for approx. 5 months now, mostly AOKP (shoutout to maxwen awesome ROM).
About a week ago, I installed ViperX+ and the EliteKernel OXP. Running fine, up to saturday evening. I was running low on battery, plugged the phone in last second. However, it shut down immediately afterwards (downanimation was shown though, so it didn't crash). Now it won't charge at all. The LED isn't even blinking :crying:
I tried plugging it in to various power supplies, also it can't be the cable (tried switchin' those too and it works on other phones). Plugging into PC doesn't work either.
I have no idea what to do or where this came from. I really hope somebody has an idea what this could be and how to solve it since i really don't want to lose my data and send it back to fix it (would that even be covered by warranty )
Appreciate your help and also, if this isn't in the right forum here, sorry mods and please move

Try to just let it plugged in for a couple of hours and then keep pressing the power button for 20-30sec and it should boot up again..
Hope that ends up working for you!

I dont think this will help you, but you could open up the device and then disconnect the battery. It is a 1s lipo, so you can charge it with a lipo charger that supports 1s lipos (maybe at your local hobby store) Then you solder it together again and you would be able to flash another Rom and Kernel. I know that this is Risky, but i think that this case is not covered by your guarantee.

Send it back for warranty. HTC wont even know you rooted it and chances are if they do, they wont even care they will just replace it. Thats what happend with my HTC One S
Ok guys, sorry for the fuss.
IT WAS THE MICRO-USB PORT! :banghead:
I stabbed around a bit and cleaned it. BAM! It works. Yaay!

Typical

I know these questions never usually get anywhere but my phone is unresponsive. Whether I try to turn it on, plug it in, connect it to the computer, or try a hard reset with buttons, I get nothing.
Last ditch effort here but any ideas?
sorry to hear that
what happen?
try volume down with power on see if that work
I think I've tried every possible button combo to turn it on and nothing.
I woke up this morning to it like this.
I took it to Verizon and they said I could get a replacement but not for 5 days, and I kinda need it for travelling tonight.

I don't either, and actually I bought mine on New Egg and the company they deal with has declared bankruptcy so they said my only resource to get it fixed was through Verizon. So I called them and it fell under the HTC 1 year warranty so they took care of it right away. Sounds like yours is more than likely hardware failure so it should be the same situation. Heck I even sent it in with S-OFF still and it went ok, I did run the RUU to remove root and re-set everything tho. But if yours wont even turn on you have nothing to worry about
Your phone *will* always turn on with using a combo of power and volume up. Its just a matter of actually holding the volume up so that it is recognized.
How long it stays on after that is up in the air.
