I have a galaxy S2 with screen problem. I am posting the screen shot. Whats the solution?

Bring it back to the shop. Hopefully you still have warranty on it.

Burnt pixels

Hi,
I just bought this second hand SII and I found out that there are burnt pixels on the screen. I added a picture so you guys can see, sorry about the quality. Anyway, I tried to run a dead/stuck pixel all night long and it didn't do much. I heard about the *#0*# menu but it doesn't work on Cyanogenmod 9. Should I flash back to a stock version to get to the menu? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Does anyone have an idea?
IMO, return back to stock, and unroot your phone. And then try the dead pixels test. If you still feel that there are any problems with the screen, you could go to the nearest service centre. They should be able to solve your problem.

Yeah, this is what I did. I restored it to my original firmware, let's hope they're not gonna be a ***** because the phone was rooted with another kernel.
I went back today at the same time I left it yesterday and they just gave me a refurbished one in a perfect condition, I'm really satisfied with Samsung's support. If this happens to anyone, bring it back to Samsung ASAP.
I sent mine off
I sent mine off to be repaired with the same problem. Apparently it was 'repaired' but I'm pretty sure they sent me a different handset in perfect condition (mine was still in amazing condition). I'm OK with that.

[Q] Can it be fixed or not?

Hi Guys,
Before i start i'm a complete newbie to this forum! Dont know anything, so go easy on me!!
i sent my galaxy s2 back to samsung under warranty after i lost my network coverage.
They sent it back stating that it had lost the imei and baseband due to excessive use or water damage? out with warranty!! neither as it was only 2 months old!!
So i sent it to a repair company, same result they couldnt fix. They did offer to dispose of it for me as they said it was totally dead, turns out after i demanded it back that i can still use it for wifi etc.
can it be fixed or have i just got a nice screen?

Ok, Im going to assume you have tried other kernels/roms wipe data/factory reset and have same problem.
In this case there is no magic words to repair hardware. You need to send it away to get fixed/replaced,simple as that.

Critical Screen Problem!

""Hello friends, without any ado, I would go straight to my problem!""
I am a flashaholic and flash my i9100g every now and then whenever there is a new update for my ROM.
After about 12 to 13 flashes, I am getting this screen problem..... After switching on the phone, for 1 to 2 seconds, my screen flickers with horizontal colored lines!
CHECK THE SCREENSHOT!
AND PLZ HELP ME A.S.A.P.!!
Back to stock, test. If OK with stock, clean install of custom rom, test. If obvious problem with custom rom, ask the dev of said rom.
Thanks
Thanks a lot for your quick reply, but I've tried installing the stock ROM...... maybe I'll ask ryuinferno
Anyways, thanks!! :good:
If it's happening with stock it's a hardware problem. Take it to mobile repair shop (or a Samsung service centre if it has warranty), or replace the screen yourself if you're confident enough & are able to definitely diagnose it's just the screen that's causing the issues.

Ofcourse it doesn't have warranty becoz its rooted and the counter says 15..... so SAMSUNG PEOPLE will charge me if i repair it......
Maybe I will diagnose it a bit more and see if it works!!
Problem solved!
Thanks to ryuinferno! Actually, I was using a ICS bootloader..... All i needed was a JB bootloader which i got from this link: >>Repository<<
