Again, I searched but cannot seem to find this...
Well, I was trying to remove stock apps after I rooted my phone, I used to use Absolute System to do so(with my old samsung fit), but now I cannot seem remove stock apps, at all... most problem is with ASTRO FILE MANAGER, i cannot seem to remove it, AT ALL...
any suggestions on what app should I use? or how I should do it?
TIA!

Titanium Backup, ROM Toolbox, System Cleanup ( you can find it here on XDA or Play Store) or using a Root Explorer - delete the apk files

So i should just directly delete the apk from the /system/app folder?
You should backup the folder on sdcard first

Titanium backup is probably the easiest way to do it.

Is there a way to get some stock apps back?

Hello, this was my first time rooting a phone so I tried it and everything went well, I deleted some of the stock sprints apps like sprint ID using titanium backup pro, decided to restore the phone but it seems like those apps are not back.
I unrooted my phone to see if that would fix the problem but it didn't. Is there a way to get those apps back into the phone?
Thank you
Download any custom rom (blur rom may included all apps) open it using winrar. Extract all system apps, copy necessary apps in to your sdcard . Then using esfile explorer (with root permission) copy apps from sd card to system/apps or data/apps (or try to install it). Change permission to rw-r-r if needs then reboot.

Hope it helps you :victory::victory::victory::victory:
Note:- Before deleting,just take a backup to sd card..

Can I install apk as system app to allow it root access?

I have TWRP installed. I'm trying to find a way a) keep the device not rooted AND b) run a few apps that require root access (3C Toolbox or Titanium Backup).
I'm wondering if I can just use TWRP to copy the folder for the app to /system/app and set its permission (setuid). Would that work?
Thanks
