1% Battery increments - Motorola Photon 4G

I'm running the DarkFire ROM for the Photon 4G of course. Is there a zip I can flash to get 1% increments instead of 10? I'm on android 2.3.4.

I have wondered the same thing with factory rom... i updated to 2.3.5 though... dont wanna void warranty on my electrify(re badged mopho)... I find it annoying my go launcher says like 70 or so and the stock battery indiciator is 90... I like placement of stock battery indicator and wish it went in 1% increments too... If you find anything on this please post back.

[Q] Problem with my S2

Hi guys i really need someones help to explain something to me. I not even had a galaxy s2 for a month and i have been noticing problems with it. I flashed different custom roms because i heard having a custom rom is more battery friendly and makes the phone go a lot faster than having the stock rom in. So i went ahead and flashed a custom rom but i have been having problems with the battery. Fully charge it and within minutes of using wifi and browsing in the browser the battery starts being drained like crazy. Anyways i called the place were i got it from and i have send it in to them for an exchange. They said to me they will have to test it first to see were the fault is before they do the exchange. I have to say here that i flashed back to stock rom with the latest firmware using Kies. Anyways they had it for a few days fully charged it and they say that they can not find a fault and they are sending me the handset back. I have to admit being on stock rom the battery does last longer.
Anyways what can i do next and were is it that im going wrong and is it worth sending it to Samsung directly once i get my handset back?
Does it take few days for the battery to settle and get the proper use out of it even with a custom rom or shall i just stick with the stock and just root and use my phone as normal because other than the drainage there is nothing else wrong with it.
Thank you in advance...

hey thanks again JJEGAN for replying but why does everyone suggest to go to custom rom then? and i have display on lowest and i hardly have widgets so why on custom rom my battery gets sucked like crazy? do you think its worth staying on stock rom and just root the handset?
Thanks
ps when you say wipe the battery stats i did do that and charged the battery and still the same so were do i go wrong? could it be the custom roms that i have been using and not let the battery have a few days cycle to adjust to the new rom
Why do you want to root it? The phone is a beast on stock. Save yourself a load of hassle and get timely OS updates by staying stock. Root in a years time when the phone gets old and isn't supported anymore.

Read the battery drain posts stop your apps from draining the battery .
Overnight sleep test with GPS Bluetooth and WiFi off on a fully charged battery target 2% drain per twelve hours . Better Battery stats set to show Wakelocks .
me today checked 2.5 days usage admittedly light use = 54% drain

[Q] Battery Percentage.

I like that I can see my battery percentage on my phone, sure. But what I want is specific battery percentage. I only get every 10% with any battery app, so I was wondering what I could do to fix that.
I would also like to have that percentage displayed up where the battery icon is in the top right. I am rooted, on stock Rom, Gingerbread 2.3.4 at&t.

[Q] Looking for a Stock 2.3.4 GB systemui.apk

I'm ooking for a Stock 2.3.4 GB systemui.apk and framework-res.apk I was playing around with my status bar batt icons and somehow got several other batt icons loaded with my factory ones. Now the staus bar shows a couple different batt icons at different charge %'s. Example: factory GB icon at 100%, round ICS Style at 70%, etc. etc. Can anyone help?
I'm going to ask the dumb question; did you back-up your system before this? If not, can you use an older back-up or maybe find a dump of all the apks
for which phone? Maybe I could help!!
... You woke a dead thread for that? The DX2 is the phone here unless stated otherwise....

Someone definitely did not look at the date.

[Q] Stock vs OTA running ICS ROMs

I am looking to get some data to figure out a problem I am having. Yes it is about battery life. I just want to find out if others are having the same problems and what they are running. The firmware/software combos could change the battery life 180 degrees.
I could last 16 to 24 hours on a standard battery back on stock GB rom. I ran the OTA update but didn't stay on it long enough to compare battery life to the stock. I can run any GB rom and get the 16 to 24 hours still. The one thing I can't do is run ICS roms. My battery can drain up to 10% every 5 min for some unknown reason and the battery averages 110 to 120 degrees. I have wiped and reflashed many different ICS roms and still get the same results. Once I go back to GB i have no issues what so ever. I believe the OTA was built after the ICS leaks we have gotten a hold of so far, which might make them incompatible with phones that got the OTA.
I would like to see who has stock to ICS rom and OTA to ICS rom, and if they are having unusual battery issues.
Please post your software setups as well if you don't mind.
My setup:
Amon Ra
Enffabilis Dues 1.0.2
Stock ICS kernel
Screen brightness set to lowest level
Only Gmail and 3 hour Weather syncing
I believe I was stock, I opened my retail box and unlocked about 20 minutes later.
Amon Ra
CleanROM 2.3
Scrosler's packaged kernel? Stock if not.
Auto brightness. Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Words autosync.
About 8 hours battery life. Average from what I hear for ICS. Minor to moderate use.
I voted OTA to ICS no problems, but I honestly am not 100% sure I had the OTA before flashing. Either way, I have great standby battery life. But it does drop quickly when being used. I can easily get through a day on the standard battery under normal circumstances where as I couldn't with my thunderbolt.

dev req: 1% battery mods

is there any dev who can create a 1% battery mod for the ics leaks, especially .209? i tried the UOT kitchen but it only reads in increments of 10%.
im also curious if anyone might be willing to try to deodex the rom for modding?
+1
No offense, but if the OTA ICS is supposed to be just around the corner why should the DEV's waste time on something that will be lucky to be finished before its even obsolete. Just doesn't seem like a smart way to spend there time to me.
If your in that dire need of a 1% indicator just slap a 1x1 circle battery widget to your main home screen.
I'd like to share your optimism that the moto's ICS will work on 1% basis instead of 10%.
Of course there are some overworks (I am using battery indicator pro to get 1% accuracy) but it would be nice to have the 1% mod so no other applications are needed....
Even if ICS runs 10%, the devs would be better off modding that when it comes out.
I think thats what the response was meant to mean.

Well.. "Battery Circle" from the Play store seems to do get the job done, provides 1% accuracy and seems pretty accurate to me
once your used to a mod, it's hard to give it up. uot kitchen states it can cook odexed roms but it did not.

thats not what I meant, I highly doubt out of the box ICS to do 1%, what I meant was why should they right code for a leak, just to have to rewrite the code a week later when the official releases.
Badass Battery Monitor also works on 209, with 1% steps.

yeah but i don't want a extra app to accomplish what could be done by simply deodexing the ics leak. i hope a dev takes this on soon, it's driving me nuts.
I use badass battery monitor also. I even made a n add-on using eclipse battery icons. It is irritating to have an extra app, but I have grown fond of it now. I know I will always have 1%.
I can say, as someone who deodexes roms, until the OTA is released I do not plan on deodexing the leaks. Mostly due to the fact that leaks are not final, and there is a new leak quite often.
You could try sp_hicks09 KOA Rom. It works on any ICS Leak.

yeah i tried to deodex myself today and it's a nightmare. too bad we do not know when the ota will be out. as far as aokp and cm9 im not fond of the data drops, that's why ive been modding the stock .209. ive done everything but add battery %.
