this module is already present in custom kernel. You need to unlock bootloader and then flash X Kernel or Rage Kernel for GB

thanks for your answer, unfortunately i can't flash custom kernels, i already have unlock bootloader but my xperia mini have the problem of "1 bad block encountered" so i'm stuck in the stock kernel, before my xperia mini, i had a x10 mini with miniCM7 and the smartassv2 was the gobernor that i most like, thats the reason i am question for this module in stock kernel, a way for install or flash the module via CWM or something

Umm I can compile those governors as module if u want

For OC you need unlock bootloader too, then flash doom v9 or inteks v15 kernel and OC up to 2.0Ghz
Sent via MIUI 2.1.13
I suggest you no overclock it to 1.9...
yes me too i would suggest to overclock it to a MAXIMUM of 1.6ghz because overclocking it more than this is just a faster way to kill it
Thanks you all for your information !

I don't think so. Better use Miui kernel.

Is stock kernel, which doesn't let higher than 1.0 Ghz.
To OP: There aren't much ICS kernels yet, but I think I saw somewhere v2 kernel for some MiniCMSandwich ROM(I think) that allowed overclock.
I find it,thanks. This Kernel is here

[REQ] Munjeni Kernel [XPERIA U]

Hey , everybody.
Could somebody upload the Munjeni Kernel for Xperia U without OC. The version prior to the one present on the forums now.
Thank you.
And could someone tell me how to add hotplug governor to the kernel.
The problem with the present kernel is that set frequencies do not hold.

Actually the kernel can be modified, as Munjeni is compelled to release his kernel source code under GPL.
https://github.com/munjeni/android_kernel_xperiago/blob/ics/COPYING
Use this one

Misinterpretation
Folks, Dr Sanket, you got me wrong. He released another kernel for ICS B.10 without OC prior to this recent one with OC.
I had that but I deleted the file and flashed this new one. All I am asking is that somebody please upload that old version
so I can flash it.
And @brainkafka, sorry bro I cat use your wonderful kernel as I am on ICS B.10
Sorry I'll look for a ROM and find a way to flash FTF but it doesn't (different issue)
But please upload the previous version of Munjeni's ICS kernel, not a modded one.

You can try changing your kernel. You can try the Mesa or Lupus kernel. They contain extra governers like smartassv2.
They may or may not contain the governers you want.
