hello everyone
i have problem with ICS official rom (ported) .562
when xloud is turned on, the music plays very quiet, when i turn off there is louder!
But the main problem is music and videos on YouTube. it plays very quiet. Is anyone have DSPManager apk or other ways to solve this problem ?
Sorry for my english and thanks for every help.

Hello everybody.
I've noticed when playing music from my SGSII (No Headphones) that the music doesn't play well. Let me try to explain:
When I play music through the rear speaker, it sounds like the speaker is only playing the "left or right" audio of the track, but not both... You can notice that in mainly in the chorus of the songs. I feel like some chorus voices are missing...
Is this normal? If not, can anyone give me a hand?
I hope you we're able to understand me.
Thx in advance.
PD: I'm running Batista70 Foxhound 2.1
I have not experienced this kind of thing. Running frankenstein 2.3.5 stock with old bootloader. Sorry cannot be of more help.

Whenever I play my music, I hear buzzing/squeaking/whistling sounds behind the song (theyre not that loud but still)... I hear it with and without headphones and with different players (stock, doubletwist, etc). Is my phone damaged? Is there a fix? Is it common for this to happen? Ive had this problem since i got the phone.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
(btw ive searched and could not find anything helpful)
do you have anything like dspmanager / equalizer on? I had a similar problem and it was caused by equalizer.
i had this problem when i flashed beats audio
but mine was louder
couldnt hear the song
just the buzzing noise
+1 to the problem with beats, reflash n remove equalizers of all kind and then see if its solved.
had the problem on stock rom using stock headphones...much less when using a different headset. used CM7 latr on and the problem was less...now it seems to be back..using GTR
Do u have beats or xloud in your rom
Mine has the same issue, stock rom. The buzz goes away when I use bluetooth headset.

It is Samsung bug that is more or less common to all 4.0.3 ROMs, but on XWLP7 I had it more often than on XWLPD or XWLPG. When this bug occur, just reboot your device and it will be ok for a while.
after enabling 5.1 just skip to next song then go back to the song u were listening, it should be fixed
u can use beats audio mod from this linkhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
it makes the sound amazing and with enabling the 5.1 effect it's awesome
try it
Hello, I don't know why but with feralab v30 ROM I lost all speaker sounds when I try to set a custom notification sound for any app, whatsapp, gmail, facebook is the same, I manage to get the sound back once after rebooting the phone and playing with the sound settings, haven't been able to get since that time, I've used a few roms with my X10, DonutHD, Wolf, X10S, feralab since v28 and is the forst time this happends, anyone knows why is this happened?
I can't post in the Feralab discussion board, normally all the answers I find them searching the forum, so I don't have a lot of posts :silly:
can you hear music or any other sound from the speaker?
If I plug my earphones, I can hear music ok, but no in the external speakers, the sound in the speakers comes and goes randomly now, is weird. If I'm using the phone to do something the sound comes back on his own, without doing nathing and it goes out the same way. maybe tomorrow I will try to reflash the rom again.
I flash the original rom from sony and the sound still gone so I think is a hardware problem,
Sorry to hear that...good luck with the repair.
Hello guys, not sure if this is happening to everyone, on my SK17i, with stock GB .62 rom Whatsapp seems to record audio TOO DISTORTED, my voice gets recorded to badly that people doesn't even hear what i'm speaking about... (Comes out VERY loud)
Sometimes i have to put my phone very far away from me, and not having ANY type or environment sound or gets distorted right away.
I don't believe it's a Hardware problem since Facebook audio works good, calls also works good, and in .587 ICS WA recorded on good quality...
If someone has this bug or knows how to fix it would be awesome...

Nope, sent a ticket to WA Support, the only thing i've found is that on ICS the audio got recorded on .AAC, MONO, 22.05KHZ, while on GB rom the audio's are on .AMR, MONO, 16KHZ/14BITS, some friends cellphones record the audio on .M4A (AAC Codec), Stereo, 22.05KHZ, so basicly they did something that changed the AAC codec intro AMR records...
